First of all, I've never spoken to a twoleg before, so this is quite an exciting experience!

Why was I so quiet? I had felt as if I had gone deaf. I remember I had entered the tunnels and tried to test my hearing by yowling "Hello?"

But then, I think Bumblestripe was worried for me and showed Bramblestar what I was doing. That furball.

But I couldn't handle it! I couldn't hear things from far away, and it was especially hard to hunt. Hunting was a breeze for me until I lost my powers.

I just didn't want to talk to anyone. I wanted to be alone.  I wanted my powers back. (I also had some leftover feeling for Tigerheart). I wanted to help the clan by listening for invasions.

Soon after that, I told Bumblestripe that I didn't want a mate for a while... And that really hurt his feelings. I felt really sorry for that furball, but I just couldn't bring myself to say I had some feelings for Tigerheart.

Every night I prayed to Starclan that would get my powers back, while Jayfeather keeps nagging that the Dark Forest was gone so we didn't need our powers anymore. But I think he was worried for me and Lionblaze. Lionblaze was still confident that he could beat anyone in battle.

Then again, I still tried to see if I could hear, just like the mountain experience.

I just felt so.... Useless.
