She looked back with a frown "then what are you doing here?"

He sulked at first which she was quiet used to "are you serious?"

She threw the bag from her shoulder and observed him carefully this time, with a complete grimaced look "serious about what Veer?"

Veer shook his head "forget it...I don't want to talk to an insane person"

Aarti was getting super furious now...firstly he doesn't tell what brought him here, second he's calling her insane "excuse me"

"No" he said with knitted brows that never meant to straight...

She was completely over it, she was sure today that her life would never get stable. Even though if she kept on trying...

Back at home her own mother is her chief problem. Here Veer is her largest problem and not to forget that bastard Zora who wants to marry her. She wanted to pull her hair... "Listen Veer...just get out of my way"

But Veer was least bothered to listen to her silly things, as he considered. He was trying to make a way out from this so called jungle...it was getting dark and he would never want Aarti to suffer in this strange place "shut up Aarti"

Aarti's mouth was wide open now...how could he make her quiet. What the hell does he think of himself? He was telling her to shut up and where the hell does he think he's going and why was she following him? She stood still and decided not to follow him...

He turned around "will you move?" he gawked at her

"No, I won't" she said straight on his face

"When any animal will attack you. Then don't come running ok" He said and started walking...

Aarti was now little scared, since it was getting dark and what if actually some animal comes and bouts her. She saw him walking away without even bothering about her... but she decided not to follow him.

Here Zora's men dispersed in the jungle to look for Aarti. Zora bellowed at his men for getting beaten up by one man. He went straight to Aarti's house...

"We are worried about Aarti as well" Rama cried assuring Zora that they were asleep when she made an escape.

Zora looked at her "if you did not help her escape. Then who did?"

Rama nodded her head "not anyone from this house"

Zora was going mad at every step. He wanted Aarti at any cost. "Come on, we need to find her" he shouted at his men and left

Rama was getting extremely angry at Aarti "you have spoilt her too much Manmohan...it's because of you she dared to take this step."

Manmohan was quiet "I never want Aarti to marry this man"

Rama got up from the couch "fine, you only like that Veer... no one else"

"That's right" Manmohan said and left

Rama furiously took out her phone

Aarti heard the noise of few men talking to each other...she was scared and stick herself against a huge tree...

She was still thinking when she felt someone grabbing her from her mouth and pulling away...

"Sshh" Veer said looking in her eyes "do as I say" he ordered her while she was almost sweating...

Aarti stood still and he was about to step ahead but accidently pressed her feet with his shoes "ouch" she screamed

Instantaneously he kept his hand on her mouth "are you stupid" he shushed at her...

Annoyed she pointed at his feet...he immediately stepped back

"No, you are stupid. Understand" she hissed back at him

Veer shook his head "it's just a bloody shoe...not a knife"

Aarti unbelievably observed him "wow...really? Your shoe is so heavy just like a big rock"

She watched her feet through her sandals...

"And by the way who told you to wear sandals and roam in the jungle?" he frowned angrily

It was too much for Aarti to bear but she couldn't even shout at him "go to hell" she whispered at him equally frowning at his face...

Veer recalled Kavita's words

"Veer...Aarti is trying to call you from many days. Her life is in danger. Some local gangsters want to marry her and she wanted your help"

Veer thought he would have never come to save this conceited lassie if Kavita didn't call him...he will quickly take her to a safe spot and that's it.

He won't ever let her control his life. She was sitting on his nerves now. Firstly she's too dumb, second she rarely listens. Third she's beauty without brains and which was obviously of no use.

It was getting dark and she was sitting under this tree staring all over the place. Aarti already made a big excuse of not walking any further as Veer's monster shoes pressed her delicate foot fingers...she took out a small cream out of her bag and started rubbing it all over her arms and legs ....

Veer wasn't surprised, this was not the first time he saw her using her creams but the more he saw her the angrier he got.

Just then he heard little rustling of the leaves.... He came a little closer to her as to protect her. She was least concerned, obvious of the reason she knew Veer wouldn't let anything happen to her.

"Looks like they have left the jungle" he murmured

Aarti was feeling cold now. Plus the hunger that was striking her from past hour or so... "I am hungry. Get something to eat" she said...

Veer nodded his head astonishingly, how can she demand from him "Sure...place your order Ma'am" he smirked at her

Annoyingly she pushed him away "don't come near me"

Veer got up on his feet "who wants to come near you?"

She saw him getting some leaves and placing them on the grass "what are you doing?"

He didn't say anything and kept on doing his work... Aarti thought of getting up and moving on. She has to get out of this jungle to get something to eat. But then she looked at her feet that was still aching a little...

"Sleep here" he ordered her

"What?" she scowled at him "here? You are out of your mind"

Veer didn't say anything and lay on the leaves "These leaves keep your body warm. Rest is up to you"

Aarti watched him closing his eyes and dozing off so easily. He must to use to staying in forests as this is what is usually taught in their trainings... but she is human after all and without any special training... she dreamt of pizza's, burgers and pani puri... all her favorite snacks came right in front of her eyes...she made up her mind to eat all these snacks once she leaves this bloody jungle...

She kept her bag on the side and tried to get some sleep but that was impossible...she got up.

With hunger pangs she was unable to sleep at all. She again thought of looking around for something when her eyes fell on his face that was glowing because of the moonlight.

As if tranquility took over his angry expressions, no wonder he looked the world's most handsome man...her man.

Even though she was exasperated over him, he still comes to save her each time she needs help. She smiled a little, but every time he just leaves her because of his priorities in life.

Were all the priorities bigger than her love, she thought. Was his work and his missions bigger than her emotions, was his duties towards his country bigger than her life? She closed her moist eyes and sat back resting under a huge tree recalling all her moments of life with him.

She can never forget him and neither can she move her life ahead unless he gets out of her mind and heart which is not possible at all.

Life was giving her one after another blow on her face... should she listen to her heart or her mind. Her heart always made her helpless and this was the worst time of her life. She wanted to run as fast as she could to get over her feelings for him.

She had loved him more than her life... "Life is so strange" she whispered softly...then closed her eyes...

"Not as bizarre as you are" she got a reply back from him... so he wasn't sleeping and again. Fuming at him and her stupid emotions she wiped her small tear sitting on the edge of her eye.

"My fate is bizarre" she exclaimed gritting her teeth and almost ready to cry any minute.

Veer grinned a little this time at the poor girl who thought she was getting emotionally cocooned...
