The betrayal in my eyes should have shown because I could see the guilt and pain in hers. Screams were ripped out of my mouth as a made a final attempt to grasp the light coming from my kitchen. It grew smaller and smaller. Then I heard my mother's scream and a bang. The sound tore my heart as tears brimmed my eyes and I yelled for her. The light had grown smaller and smaller and then the portal was gone. I tumbled down the rabbit hole smashing into a bookshelf, sending books everywhere then bounced off a bed and narrowly missed a piano four inches from crushing me. I crash through a celing then everything goes black.

I wake up with dust and dirt in my eyes. I struggled to my feet from the checkered floor. I winced as I felt pain shoot off from everypart of my body. Their were six doors around me, all of which were locked. Each were antique and had strange designs The sixth one, north from where I had been standing was as small and a teacup. Their was a glass table in the center bearing a key, vial of a mysterious purple liquid that read drink me and a small pastry that read eat me. I was living my very own wonderland adventure I thought curiously. Then it hit me. Where was my mother? Was she okay? What was that noise and what am I supposed to do here? I slipped to my knees and cradeled myself to clear my thoughts. No I couldn't afford to lose myself. I had to find my way out of here. I wiped my tears and walked to the glass desk. I replayed the story my mother told me trying to figure out which one I was supposed to take to get through the door? I decided on the vial. I pocketed the key and a small amount of the pastry. I took a deep breath, opened the vial and swallowed. It tasted like mango, banana, strawberries and so many other things I couldn't guess. Suddenly I felt a tingling sensation go through my body. I was shrinking. By the time I was done I was the size of a hand. I ran to the door and unlocked it. I scream came from my mouth.
