A box was found in the yard the five always played in. Kai read the writing on the box. "'워락' 게임... 역할을 할당하려면 이 상자를 엽니다... 누가 이걸 여기에 두었습니까?" (The Warlock' Game... Open this box to get assigned your roles... Who put this here ?) Soobin offered to open it first in case they needed to quickly dispose of it. Little did any of the know that they couldn't avoid the game since it had been set.

With a single tap, the box opened and roles were assigned to the boys. Soobin & Kai were awarded the role of " Single Lifeline". Beomgyu, Taehyun, & Soobin being awarded the role of "Warrior". 

A voice sounded from the box. It sounded very monotone. Like a android. "Welcome ! The game will soon commence. May the best one win..." The game was soon set. The box transported them to a clearing. This wasn't a part of the natural world. Pretty much acted as a magical battle ground.

Taeyang, Haru, & Hwan all watched from a distance. The range of emotion was very different among the three siblings. 

Each of the five boys taking their marks as the game started. Yeonjun & Taehyun struck first. They managed to cause quite a lot damage to Beomgyu. "How is that fair ?! You both attacked at the same time !", Beomgyu yelled angry. Hwan was a bit worried as his champion had taken damage so early on the game. Taehyun remained quiet, but felt a bit bad. 

Yeonjun however rolled his eyes playfully. "이건 게임일 뿐이야, 범규아. 전략적이어야 한다는 건..." (It is only a game, Beomgyu ah. You need to be strategic is all...) 

The game was intense. They had only just began, but Beomgyu took heed to what Yeonjun had said. This was a game. They needed to be strategic about taking, as well as dealing damage... Spell after spell was thrown. It had become apparent that all three involved were getting increasingly ambitious. The game was now solely about winning.

Soobin yelled when Beomgyu went down for the first time. "내가 구해줄까, 범규아?" (Want me to save you, Beomgyu ah ?) Beomgyu couldn't answer  as a another spell was cast. Soobin acted quickly. As soon as Soobin said his safe word Beomgyu was revived with some strength & Soobin had disappeared. 

Kai anxiously watched as the game was getting intense. They weren't acting like friends at the moment. Taehyun, Beomgyu, & Yeonjun seemed to be in an obsessive mood. It was about winning. The look in their eyes resembled that of a war in war. It was life or death now. 

A powerful was conjured from Taehyun. Yeonjun was suspended in the air unable to move. "PUT ME DOWN !", Yeonjun yelled as fear began to set in a little. Taehyun smirked lifting the spell long enough that Yeonjun hit the ground with absolute damage. Yeonjun disappeared after this strike of true damage.

Now there were two...

Meanwhile with Soobin

He appeared back in the clearing with the box. He tried opening it, but it was of no use. The mysterious box would not open. A few minutes went by before Yeonjun appeared beside him. "You're here, hyung ? Is the game still going ?" 

Yeonjun sat against Soobin completely depleted of strength, as well as energy. "경기는 아직 진행 중입니다. 핵심 선수 중 한 명을 제거하는 즉시 멈출 줄 알았는데요..." (The game is still going. I thought it would stop as soon as one of the key players had been removed...)

Soobin tried opening the box as he thought some things over. They had no real knowledge of the box. No knowledge of the game... "Hyung, what if the game doesn't require a forfeited player ? What if it needs a single winner ?"

Yeonjun sat up as best he could as they looked over the box. The box was covered in weird symbols, but they had no was of understanding what they were looking at. "How are we supposed to determine what the game's purpose is then ?"

Back In The Warlock' Game

Beomgyu and Taehyun upped the strength of their spells. Dealing the most damage was imperative to win. 

Taehyun was knocked down with a triple damage spell from Beomgyu. He had no way of getting up without help. Kai quickly helped Taehyun before he appeared back with Soobin & Yeonjun. Now it was completely 1V1. 

The game was so intense, bit neither was letting up. Pretty soon Taehyun was down & weakly grabbed Beomgyu' ankle. "그만해요... 제발, 형. 여기서 끝내..." (Stop this... Please, hyung. End this here...)

Beomgyu sighed as he took in what exactly Taehyun was saying. Had the game finally come to an end ?
