~The 3 Keys~
Chapter 2
Beams of light shone brightly all around. Rainbows shot through the air and swooshed into white fluffy clouds. Gold dust drifted down from above while an angelic creature flapped its wings. A thundering boom was heard each time it's white glorious wings glided up and down. It took deep breaths of warm air. The creature's heart pounded like a raindrop that shattered into one thousand droplets.
It had the most beautiful eyes that had ever existed, bright gold that glistened with every heartbeat. The creature slowly retracted its long silver claws and fangs. Why this amazing beast had fangs was strange, but every father has a side who wants to protect as well as care for his children. This creature had a heart of love, but was ready to release his wrath towards any evil that stood in the way.
Above the clouds, thousands of black bats flew; they screeched and squealed trying to mock this maleficent creature. Did they not remember the maker of all good and evil? Did they not know that he could destroy them in one blow? Did they forget who the Master of them all was?
The Master of everything that breathes slowly turned his head down. He bent his mighty legs and lowered himself upon a nearby cloud. You could hear a grumble from the half bird half beast that would make anything fear it. The grumble turned into a loud echo and then he raised his head. Roaring with dignity he let out a monstrous noise. But it was not a roar, it was music. So graceful but powerful at the same time, that shook the whole world. All of the bats fell from the sky as the music echoed from cloud to cloud.
The creature had companions flying all around him that sounded out the battle cry as well! The noise was beauty so profound that only a stone could not have its heart melted away because of it. The bats seemed to fall endlessly, capturing the power of the Master. After the small battle was won, you could still hear faint screeches from below.
The hero of the battle leaped with joy and then landed once again onto a cloud with grace. His companions who were white and fluffy like their maker followed him to where he now lay. They rested themselves inside the wings of their Master and calmed the sounds they made down to a low and delightful hum.
Then the creature that seemed to be part of a bird and part of a lion began to look sad. After a battle that was so easily won what could he have to be sad about? It started to whimper for some reason that none of his tiny snow bird companions knew about.
He took a step forward on his four legs and looked solemnly at the sky. A deep bellow came out of his chest and floated in the air. The expression on its face was one of peace but also being disturbed by something. So he shared his heart in the most ferocious and graceful voice that would soothe your soul to sleep.
"To my creation, I have won a battle here today. It was a small battle won for good, but good does not prevail everywhere. We have lost a beloved king, who was taken into evils grasp because he let it win his soul. I want to tell you, do not let fear, hate, anguish, pain, jealousy, take over your soul. Good will triumph! For everything was created by me, even the evil in the world. But cannot and will not defeat its creator. The world needs hope, it needs peace and it needs deliverance."
He then moved his paw upwards toward the thin air as to point to something. A poof of dust particles flew out of his mouth. As he exhaled, the snow birds began to hum loudly again and flew in a tight circle around his head as to make a white crown. He closed his eyes to concentrate on the job at hand and gave a slight smile. The particles danced in all directions and then began to slide into place. What appeared in the air was to be used for the Masters will. They were created for helping the people find peace. Placed in front of all the snow birds, they were a tool of guidance.
"Good shall win my children," his voice boomed over the vast sky for all to hear. "Peace will be found in the people's hearts, not all of them I will say. But those who choose the good, and fight for it will be given the help they desire!"
He then flew upward and began to slowly disappear into thin air with his new creation. The time was rising for evil to try and take hold of all the good that exists. But the time was also rising for good to stand up against evil. The people needed somewhere to look, something to put there hope in.
For now that would be the new king, in themselves or their family. But they needed to know the only real hope. That was indeed the Master.
Hope is not lost! That is why he created the 3 Keys....
I know that this chapter was shorter, but it was needed to show you the history of the book! Hope you enjoy... c:
