I was standing in front of Levi as a group of cadets formed around us. Even Hanji and Ewin were betting on who will win.
"Any time Makin," Levi said.
"Lets go," I said getting into a fighting stance. He got into his. He threw the first punch aiming for my stomach. I slipped away and put him in a Nelson. But him being taller than me lifted me off the ground. I locked one of my legs behind his knee making him fall. People gasped and Levi smirks when we fell. In mid fall he had spun around putting me on the bottom with his waist between my legs. I blushed noticing this fact. He pinned my hands above my head and gave me a devilish look.
"I win Makin,"
"Nope," I tightened my legs and flipped him over my head. I was straddling his torso and started to throw punches at his face. He blocked them. Then, after ten straight minutes of flipping bottom positions and throwing punches none hitting each other, I finally pinned Levis hands over his head. I was leaning over him swear dripping off my head.
"Tsk you win brat get off," I got off of him and held my hand out to him. He grabbed it and pulled himself up. We looked at the large group of people who formed around us. All of the. Stood wide eyed.
"Holy shit she beat corporal!" Angie said in disbelief. Then a loud uproar came from the crowd and people exchanging money.
"Tsk you're tougher than I thought," Levi said brushing the dirt off of him.i give him a light smile.
"Remember that corporal," I smirk.
He waved me off and walked away.

(After the expedition. Yes everyone is dead)

My squad had been behind the Levi quad. No one survived. Only me. I couldn't save them. I took another shot and set the glass down. The burning sensation in my throat went down painfully then eased. The female Titan killed so many. I wasn't the only one who was suffering loosing my squad. Levi lost all but one. Eren. I poured another shot and when to take a drink when a hand was placed on my shoulder.
"I know it's okay everyone lost someone," I looked at Hanji. She had been crying as well. I teared up remembering Kyle getting slammed into a tree. I swallowed my tears and looked at Hanji emotionless.
"I can only morn one day," with that I downed the shot and stood up.
"What are you doing?"
"Changing and going to town to buy descent liquor,"

I changed into a simple dress with a vest top. The simple stitching made me stand out a little. I put my hair up into a tight bun and grabbed my side bag. Walking out to the stables I ran into Eren who was petting his horse.
"Eren," I said with a slight nod.
"Makin sir!" He saluted.
"No need I'm off."
"Might I ask where you are going?" He said as I climbed onto my horse.
"Town, I need some sanity," and with that I rode off.

When I got into town I went to a small bar. I tied my horse and walked in. There are not very many girls but a few night walkers. I sat on the far side in an empty stool. The bar tender today was a girl about my age with blond hair.
"What you need Hun," she said leaning into the counter.
"Anything is better than I have at base," I said.
"Military police?" She said walking off.
"Scouting legion," I said. She almost dropped the glass.
"Oh I'm sorry, I heard they lost a lot of men do to the female Titan,"
"Yah, I lost my whole squad," she put a glass of citrus smelling drink in front of me.
"Then you might know the guy who ordered you this drink," she said pointing over to a man sitting in the far side. I look over to see a slightly taller than me, black haired, gray eyed Levi. He gets up and walked over to me bringing his empty glass with him. He sits down and looks at me not saying a word. I felt myself tearing up. I was looking into his gray eyes then he put a hand on my back. I looked away from him letting a single tear roll down my face hitting the wooden floor.

---(Levi's pov)
I watched a a single tear feel to the floor. Katie's bright green eyes were darker today. Her dress fit her perfectly and I have never seen her hair different than the normal braid or pony tail. The bar tender looked at her in sympathy. Then a loud crash came to the doors. The bar tender shot her head up and looked toward the door. I looked over to see three strong men walking in. I turned my attention back to Katie who took a sip of the drink I ordered her. I knew she liked oranges.
"Ahh!Hey?!!" I looked over and saw one of the men had smacked the bar tenders butt. I took my hand off Katie's back and ordered another round for myself. Then the group of men walked over to Katie and I.
"Well if it isn't a soldier if the corps," on man said leaning over me.
"Hey thanks for the destruction inside of wall Sina," another snarled.
"Your expedition was utter shit wasn't it," they all laughed.
"Sh..." I started.
"Shut up what are you doing to help the cause huh?" Katie spoke up. "Besides telling the people who are giving up and gave up their lives that they are shit," I looked at her astonished she has had the worst attitude lately but it was kinda attractive when she was dominate. What are you thinking Levi?!
"Wow someone is sassy today," one man said turning to her.
"Little lady's got a mouth,"
"And an ass too," another said.
"Yah pretty face also," they continued. They got close to her before I spoke up.
"Leave the women alone," I said. They all turned and looked at me.
"Mr. Soldier trying to be the hero huh?"
"Shut the hell up and go get drunk elsewhere," I spat.

Katie's pov----
I looked at Levi who was practically trembling with hate. Why was he all of a sudden standing up for me? I mouthed a thank you as one of the men grabbed Levi by his collar.
"Shity little midget!"
"Hey fuck off!" I said standing up. One of the men grabbed my waist and held me to his side. I elbowed him square in the chest. The man stumbled back. One tried to grab me from behind but I flipped over him and put his hands behind his back. Son of a bitch this guy is Fucking tall I thought. The man holding Levi's shirt turned to me taking his eyes off Levi. His mistake. Levi threw a punch landing it right on the guys jaw.
The man flew back landing on a table on the far side. I kicked the guy in my hands and he fell to the floor.
"Next time you shouldn't pick a fight with a soldier of the corps" I said glaring down at the man. The men stood up and walked out of the bar. " we can catch a damn break can we," I said tying to Levi and smiling.

LEVIS POV

Katie turned to me and smiled. She is beautiful. She just kicked some guys asses and left then crying to their mom's. How pathetic. But who could blame them. She was a great fighter. A small whimper came from behind the bar. Katie walked behind and lifted the small bartender up and hugged her. Wow she was something else. She kicks ass and still cares about the others who were here. 'What are you thinking Levi?!
