Song: EXO - Monster

Mari's POV

   "I seriously hate Japanese songs," I muttered under my breathe as the speakers in the room kept playing Yellow Generation's debut songs.

    I can hear Hajin laughing to herself from her side of the room. Then she spoke up, "At least they are not playing any SNSD songs."

   I sat up from my bed and looked at my classmate from Senior Year in shock. "You don't like Girls' Generation?" I asked right away.

   "Not really," Hajin explains herself. "I just don't like some of their so-"

   Hajin stopped in mid-sentence when we hear Gee by Girls' Generation playing through the speakers on high volume.

   "You've got to be kidding me," Hajin whispers in irritation.

   This time it was my turn to laugh. Then the chorus came on and I stood up away from the bed and started dancing. Hajin sits up and looks at me weirdly.

   "Really, Mari?" She asks, not sounding impressed, but I can see her eyes are smiling.

   I smiled proudly and teased her, "Oh! Come on, Kim! It's not like you haven't seen anyone dance before."

   Hajin laughs and shakes her head. "Actually, this is the first time since grade 3 that I have seen you danced," She replies back.

   I stopped dancing and just looked at her. She's right. It's been a long time since I've danced and I really missed it. Then all of a sudden I ran over to Hajin's bed and pulled the girl up to her feet.

   "Come one then," I exclaim, daringly. "Dance with me. Let your anger and frustration out by moving your body."

   And right at that time, the song changed to a familiar one. My eyes widen and I looked at Hajin, who is frozen on her spot.

  "I-is that what I th-think it is?" She asks me in shock.

  I laughed out loud and happily said, "It's EXO's Monster!"

  "No way am I dancing to this!"

  I playfully rolled my eyes at the girl in front of me and started dancing. When the chorus started I stopped and pointed at Hajin. I didn't even think if she'd dance or not, but after pointing my finger at her, she started dancing to the song. After all these years of our broken friendship, we have finally made up and our first activity that we did is danced to EXO's Monster. Everything was going great until the speakers and lights went off in the room. Then the voice of the man spoke up again.

   "Time for all of you to know the plans for today, but first of all, I want to say thank you to a few of you who cooperated very well and figured out how the red light system works," The man says through the speakers. He sounds proud, but I didn't care at all. Then he continued talking, "So, the plans for today is that all of you will finally meet each other and we will see how it goes. After meeting each other, we will group all of you. That's all for now. Thank for listening and now please follow the red lights once you step out of your rooms."

    Once the speakers went off the red light in the room opened again and then the door opened by itself. I looked over at Hajin and we both nodded. We walked out of our room and into the dark hallway that has a trail red lights on the left wall.

   "Who do you think we'll meet?" I asked Hajin slowly.

   "Not sure, but I hope that they are not criminals or psychopaths," She whispers back to me.

   I couldn't help, but smile at her comment. Then we started walking down the hallway while following the trail of red lights. It felt like an hour passed by, but then we stopped right in front of a black door in the hallway and it opened like an elevator does. We walked right inside and saw a long, white table with many white chairs. As I looked around the room, I shivered from a memory that I just remembered.

   "Is it just me or does this room remind you of the Monster MV?" I heard Hajin asks from my right side.

   I looked at her and answered as calmly as I can, "You're not the only one who thought of that."

   "I also just realized how the hallways outside looks like the one in the MV of EXO's Lucky One."

   I turned back to the hallway and realized that Hajin is right. I was about to walk back outside the room, but the door closed right in front of me. Then I heard a voices coming from the other side of the room. I turned back around and stood beside Hajin. All of a sudden a rectangular shape slid open from the other side of the room just like the door behind me and Hajin. That's when I realized that it's another door. A group of familiar looking boys walked in and stopped when they saw us. One of them was going to say something when another part of the walls in the room opened. This time a group of girls walked in and I realized that they are members of f(x). Then a part of the wall on the right slid open and two men in pj's  and a girl in a highschool uniform walked in nervously.

   "What the hell is this?" One of the boys from the first group asked out loud.

   Hajin pokes my right shoulder and whispers, "Do you know who these people are?"

   I whispered back right away, "Yeah, and I'm really worried about this whole damn thing."

   "I have a bad feeling, too, Mari."

   Then the voice of the man spoke up through the speakers on the walls.

   "Welcome, subjects!" He said, gleefully. "Please, seat down and start getting to know each other. You must all be hungry, so while you're introducing yourself, we'll be cooking right now. You may start! Enjoy!"

   "DO YOU REALLY THINK WE'LL DO THIS STUPID EXPERIMENT OF YOURS!" Amber of f(x) yelled angrily when the speakers went off. "WE ARE NOT YOUR LAB RATS!"

   I sighed and walked to one of the chairs in front of me. Hajin followed suit and so did the other group of three. Hajin sat on my left and the other three people who followed me sat on my right. I realized that the two men is Taemin and Minho from SHINee, and the girl student is Bae Eun Ha from mine and Hajin's high school.

   "Bae Eun Ha?" Hajin calls out to the girl student when she realized who she was.

   "Kim Ha Jin," Eunha answered back in respect. Then she looks at me and nods. I sadly smiled back at her and then Minho spoke up, "Do you three know each other?"

    "We go to the same high school," Eunha told him gently.

    Minho nodded and then the two other groups walked towards the table and sat down on their chosen chairs. That's when I noticed that the first group is none other than EXO.

    What are they doing here?

    "Mari?" I hear a familiar voice speak up from my left.

    I looked at the person and my eyes widen at who it is. "Daehong?" I whispered in shock.

    My childhood best friend smiled at me and said, "What a ugly coincidence."

    My breathing got heavier by the second and then he added, "But I missed you..."
