Ashley's P.O.V

My mouth falls open in a silent scream as my ears ring violently. A gasp laced with pain passed through my parted lips as I slammed my hands over my ears in hopes of blocking out the roar. My palms did nothing to stop the horrible roar. I had never heard anything like it before. It was louder then any roar I had ever heard from any Dragon Slayer. This roar was full of killing pleasure and excitement for the hunt. It sent chills through me. My advanced Dragon hearing, that I had once loved having, was now slowly killing me. I could feel blood fall from my ears and it was like my brain was turning to mush.

"Please make it stop."

I begged over and over in my mind as I dropped to my knees with my hands still cupped over my ears.

"Please......"

My scream, unheard to everyone, mixed in with the roar of the beast.

Sting's P.O.V

"arrrrgggghhh!"

My howl of pain ripped from my throat as my ears rang from the force of the unknown roar. Hot blood began to fall down my ears in streams as I slammed my fist on to them to block out the dreadful noise. My knees grew weak and wobble but I forced myself to stay up right. My world was tilting and my eyes grew fuzzy as I looked around me. Fairy Tail, along with my own Guild, was still battling the Dark Wizards. It was like they were completely unaware of the beat's roar.

"How...."

I winced when my ears gave a painful throb that nearly knocked me over with the pain.

"How do they all not hear it?...."

I opened my mouth to scream again when out of the corner of my eye I saw Ashley who was on the ground on her knees as she clutched at her head.

"She.....She can hear it too?"

Then it all clicked as my hazy vision fell onto Rouge who was also grabbed at his head.

"Only Dragon slayers are affected by it...."

My fuzzy vision and slow brain finally caught up with everything even as the roaring still spilt the air. My mouth fell open again in a silent howl of pain but instead of screaming, a name fell from my lips.

"Christina."

Natsu's P.O.V

That damn roar....making my ears bleed thanks bastard that roar was awful I could feel the hot red liquid flow in streams out of my ears. I cupped ny hands over my ears and held tightly. This. Did. Nothing. I was beyond pissed the rage was steadily increasing throughout my body. My body ached not because I was sore but because I was itching to kill more shit. I fell to my knees as the roar rang in my head. It was never ending the roar only got louder in my head. I opened my mouth slightly in pain to suck in a sharp breath but instead for some uncontrolled reason her name my beautiful badass girls name rolled off my tongue.

"Ashley."

Christina's P.O.V

I felt the blood flowing like calm rivers out of my ears from that roar. I screamed in pain as the advanced hearing I had turned into a curse more than a blessing. I held my palms over my ears hoping that it would help but of course it was the total opposite. My knees started to get weak...I managed to stand but only for a little while longer. I fell onto my knees to easier steady myself I leaned forward a little and put my elbows on the broken rough ground. I opened my mouth again for another scream. Then I stopped. I heard a faint voice that sounded like it was my name coming from the boy I love. My eyes widened in horror.. honestly I didn't care about my condition anymore. My pounding head whipped in his direction.
