Morning in konoha

*Sakura took a deep breath waking up. Smiling at the scent of a freshly made breakfast waiting for her*

Sakura: Wait a minute....

*It took Sakura's still asleep brain a few seconds to boot up and realize who was the only other person to cook breakfast. She's uh, I think we can shoot up from her bed, falling to the floor*

Sakura:N! I..I mean Naruto!

*Sakura said out loud, as she left her room still in her pajamas, and ran to the kitchen, seeing Naruto there, singing softly to himself, as he finished setting the table. Naruto turned around and smiled, seeing Sakura there*

Naruto: Hello Sakura, looking lovely this morning

Sakura: You're here. Oh my God, you're like here.

*Sakura said, surprised. Naruto chuckled as he walked up to her, Sakura noticed that one of his forearms was bandaged up, but she ignored it for something important. She slapped Naruto hard on the face.*

Naruto: You know. On some level, I'm sure I had it coming. But I don't understand why

Sakura: Geeze, I don't know. It might be because you didn't write to me, you jerk!

*Sakura said loudly, Naruto was confused as he rubbed his cheek. Not that he minded mind you, seeing as he was a bit of a masochist, but that's neither here nor there*

Naruto:.... Did you want me to write to you?

Sakura:..... D... Don't read anything into it. I write to all my friends, I wrote to Hinata at least twice a week, while she was on her mission

*Sakura stuttered, a small blush grown on her tsundere cheeks. At the name Hinata, Naruto's mood changed. As he placed his hand on his chin in thought*

Naruto:Ah. When is she coming, by the way?

Sakura: Oh, she should be here in soon. B.. but that's not the point!

*Sakura said, jamming her finger on Naruto's chest, Naruto finally noticed the blush on her face and realized what was going on. He couldn't help but smirk a little*

Naruto: You know what, you're right, and I'm sorry. How can I ever make it up to you?

Sakura: Well. I don't know, maybe a dinner at a reasonably priced restaurant....and some flowers. I like jazmines

*Sakura muttered. The blush got so much worse when Naruto held her chin and made her look at him directly in his eyes*

Sakura: A .. And uh....s..some of that chocolate from iron country you made. I want some

Naruto:Heh, it's a date

*Naruto said with a small grin. Sakura blushed at how that sounded. But she was this deep into it. And she's gonna see it through. They had a bit of a small talk before the sound of a door opening was heard. Naruto looked confused until he saw Mito there
Mito yawned, rubbing her as she sat down*

Mito: Morning....

Sakura: Oh. Morning Mito. Breakfast is ready there's.....

*Sakura said and then looked at Naruto. Since she's not so sure what she's looking at, her brain is currently a mix of flustered and hazy from being so early. Naruto coughed a little and presented his dish*

Naruto: I kept it simple, just some steam rice with natto on top, a simple miso soup with tofu cubes, and finally some tamagoyaki

Mito: Naruto!!

*Mito yelled loudly in shock and relief that he was finally here. Naruto winced a little. He didn't want to be rude... but he also didn't want her or anyone who he's not close with. To call him that outside of iron country*

Naruto: Please refer to me as N. I mean no offense, but we are not that close.

Mito:Yeah, sure, but we have to go to the hospital!!

*Mito said loudly, getting up from her table and almost stumbling to the ground. At the word hospital, Sakura eyes widened, and she was fully awake, as she started pushing Naruto out the door with them*

Sakura: Oh.... Oh shit right!!

Naruto:I'm a little confused at what's going on?

*Naruto asked, confused, as Sakura grabbed his non bandaged hand and dragged him to the hospital with Mito practically running over there*

Sakura: We'll fill you in the way, but long story short. We found a seal that's harming mito's mother, and you're the only one that can help right now

Naruto: That's all I need to know. Let's go

*Naruto said without a second thought, if there was someone in trouble, even if it was a Shinobi scum. Naruto will help. His hero complex wouldn't allow even the thought of not helping*

Mito:Oh, thank god, let's go!

Naruto: Summoning jutsu!

*Naruto said, bitting his thumb. And throwing it to the air. Instantly, all 3 of were lifted from the air, and flown at high speed, Mito would've found this fun in any other situation, but not now*

Naruto:No time to talk, take us to the main hospital in konoha

Butterfly: As you wish number 5

Later

*We see everyone that's important to kushina waiting outside kushina's room, as Naruto inspected the seal. They were there long enough that Hinata and her team came back, so Hinata and anko were also there waiting. After another hour, Naruto finally came out. Everyone stood up waiting for something*

Naruto:ok, I have good news and bad news

Mito:Tell us the good news first

*Mito said nervously, she grabbed Sakura's hand for support, and Sakura, for her part, squeezed it, giving that support to her. In the background, menma noticed this and couldn't help but feel jealous*

Naruto:Well, the good news is that I was able to stop that seal permanently from growing any bigger than it already is. Even managed to make it a little smaller. It won't grow back

Itachi: I imagine that the bad news is that that's all you were able to do?

*Itachi said, Naruto sighed a little, but he nodded, making everyone there lose a little bit of hope. Their only option now would be wait for Minato, and who knows how long he'll be gone.

Naruto: You would be correct, my friend. That seal is beyond my teachings. But there's still hope. Since I know of someone who can take that seal off

Mito:Yes! Yes! Just go to Iron Country and bring him here! We will pay whatever he wants!

*Mito said desperately, running to Naruto and grabbing his kimono. She could not lose her mother, she's the only parental figure she had. She'll do whatever it takes. Naruto sighed and petted mito's head, which was against any other situation she would be loving right now*

Naruto:Yeah. That's where the bad news comes back, you see. This person isn't from iron country. He's actually considered an enemy of the leaf

Menma:.... So you're telling us that to help our mother, we would need to do high treason?

*Menma asked with concern clear on his tone. If his father would be back now, it wouldn't be an issue. He's not gonna stop the laws from helping his family, but Itachi? Menma glanced at him for a second, not sure what he'll do*

Naruto: That is what I'm telling you, yes. I know this is a difficult decision to make. But there is no other way unless you all know somebody who could do it

Tsunade:..... How long would it take him to get here?

*Tsunade asked. Worse comes to worse. She'll take the fall, if it means having kushina back. Shizune looked at Tsunade, surprised*

Naruto: I could be there and back here with him, in a manner of minutes. But please, give it some thoughts before you make this decision. I'll leave you with the hokage to do just that. I suggest those who are not family to leave, and give these people some privacy

Itachi:Before you go, tell us who this person is?

*Itachi asked, curious, stopping Naruto and the rest from walking away. Naruto stopped and looked at his old war buddy before he said the name that sucked the life out of everyone in that room*

Naruto:...... His name. Is orochimaru

Anko: Ok, you and me are gonna have a long conversation about how you know that monster

*Anko said with a small tremble. All these years and Naruto never told her that he met that monster that ruined her life, the monster that ruined... so many lives. Naruto just nodded and started walking away. He waved at them as he walked*

Naruto: I believe you. But again. It's best if we let the family discuss this with their hokage. As for myself. I need to make a little visit to the hyuga compound....

Hinata: Y... You're going to where? N..N wait a moment

*Hinata said running to catch up with Naruto, others like Sakura and anko, walked to catch up to the two, while those who are close to kushina minus Sakura, remained there with the hokage, to discuss what they'll do*

Inside of menma

*We see kurama watching Naruto, watching his ticket to freedom walk away. And he couldn't help but chuckle, that chuckle turned into a huge laugh that shook the very cage he was trapped in*

Kurama: Soon.... I'll see you real soon, Naruto....

With Naruto

Hinata: Naruto, wait, I said wait, please!

*Hinata said, walking ahead of Naruto and stopping him by placing her hand gently on his chest*

Hinata: W... What are you talking about? Why do you need to speak with my former family?

Naruto:Didn't Sakura write to you about this ?

*Naruto asked in a confused tone, as he turned his head around, to Sakura, who shook her head that she didn't*

Naruto: You said you wrote to her twice a week, and you didn't tell her about my little stunt?

Sakura: I know it's shocking. But the world doesn't revolve around you

*Sakura said with a small smirk, crossing her arms while she did so. Naruto chuckled softly and then explained to both Hinata and anko what he did he did, and where he's been, well mostly*

Naruto: After the challenge was issued, I left to train, someplace that I knew would've made me stronger. And it did.

*Naruto said with a quick glance to his bandaged arm, the new armor hand moves like a normal hand, he had completely mobility with it. But he still wasn't completely used to it yet*

Naruto: Even if it did require some sacrifice. I can't tell you where, since it's not my place to tell. But know this, by this day's end. I will get justice for you

Hinata: B... But Naruto. You shouldn't get involved with them. They're dangerous

*Hinata said, trying to make Naruto rethink this, but Naruto just raised his bandaged hand and made it into a fist, his face changed, showing nothing but determination*

Naruto: I will not underestimate my opponent. That's why I've left to train and become the best me that I can be.  I'm even stronger than when I was in the Civil War in kiri. You have nothing to fear since losing isn't even an option

Anko:Heh, that's my boy right there. Grew up to be a gentle man

*Anko said, slapping Naruto's shoulder, Naruto smirked a little as he made it so the armor arm fell on the floor. The 4 of them looked at the arm, and then at Naruto, seeing that he had a nub where his human arm should be*

Anko/Hinata/Sakura/ AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Naruto:aaaaaaaahhhhhhhahahahhahahahaha!!!!

*Naruto screamed with them, screaming quickly, transformed into laughter, and saw the look on their faces. The 3 of them looked at Naruto confused, and more than a little concern, that he lost his mind*

Naruto: Oh God, my sides! I've been waiting to do that for weeks! Hahahahaha!!

Anko: Brat what the fuck happened to you?!

*Anko screamed shocked. Naruto controlled his chuckling, as he picked back his armor hand and placed it back into place, they saw him moving each individual finger like it was a real hand, which freaked them out a little*

Naruto: Can't get into specifics. But keeping it vague, I went on a spiritual journey, and that journey came with some sacrifices. Sacrifices that are more than worth it, giving the power that is now mine, for today's battle and beyond

???: While I love the commitment, it won't be by day's end

*They all looked at who spoke, but were taken by surprise, when Naruto instantly full body bowed to the man, as that man was his emperor, the man who gave peace to the people of iron. The man that in his youth also took the ronin route like Naruto*
