Meanwhile, in konoha

*We see Sakura cooking up dinner for her and Mito, already he was missing Naruto's cooking, her cooking wasn't bad mind you, kushina made sure to make Sakura decent in the culinary arts, but it just didn't hit the same, as when Naruto cooked them, she plated the food and placed it on the table*

Sakura:Mito, food's ready!

Mito:coming!

*Mito yelled back and walked to the dining area. She sat down and chuckled a little.

Mito:This place is freaking huge. I almost got lost for a second. Seriously, he just....gave you a house

Sakura:I've seen the paperwork. It's under hinata's and my name. He's really something else

*Sakura said with a small blush that made Mito scowl. Sakura, seeing this, just gave an awkward grin and sat down*

Mito:Yes, and he's gonna be mine

Sakura:First of all, he's older than you. I'm sure your dad will just love that

*Sakura said, snickering. Mito just blew her a raspberry, huffing and puffing annoyed*

Sakura:Secondly, he's an uzumaki, which means he's your cousin

Mito:a distant cousin. Mom was an only child, so while we share the same last name and blood, we are very distant in the family tree.

*Mito argued, seeing nothing wrong with that, and before you all judge, remember they are in feudal Japan. Sakura sighed, shaking her head*

Sakura:he's still your cousin

Mito:And? Last I checked, that's not illegal anywhere. Hell, the Fire Daimyō is married to his sister, which is way worse than what I want.

*Mito argued with a huff, Sakura snickered, she always loved teasing Mito, to keep the game going, she hummed softly*

Sakura:I suppose, at least he's not like your brother or something

Mito:Thank kami for that. One menma is more than enough.

*Mito said, not knowing the people were laughing at her in the pure lands, Sakura just nodded and gave Mito an evil grin*

Sakura:But, I do remember he telling me that he's 2 turn off are red heads and younger partners. He also said that he loved my hair color, reminding him of Sakura blossoms

Mito:hmph, well, he obviously never met me. I promise you I'll make him see the truth. Red heads are the best

*Mito said, slamming her fist on the table, Sakura snickered, having had enough fun teasing the youngest uzumaki. She changed the subject*

Sakura:So, is menma gonna come to eat? Or is he still sulking?

Mito: he's sulking in our parents house, he still doesn't get why he couldn't take care of me alone

*Mito said with a roll of her eyes. She frowned as she ate her hamburger steak, Sakura looked at the youngest uzumaki with concern*

Sakura:.....did you want him to take care of you?

Mito: Honestly?...no. not really.

*Mito said with a sigh. She stopped eating and just started picking at her food. It took a few moments before she spoke again*

Mito:I mean, I know I'm supposed to love my brother. He's my family, and that's the most important thing for any uzumaki

Sakura:But. He never spends any time with you

*Sakura finished mito's line of thought, Mito held her fork tighter and nodded*

Mito:hit the nail on the head. How am I supposed to care for somebody who doesn't care for me back

Sakura:Now that's not completely true. You know your brother loves you

*Sakura said, trying to defend her friend and teammate, but Mito scoffed and looked to the side*

Mito:Yeah. Just not enough to spend any time with me. Even now, he said they wanted to look after me, but I can bet you anything that he's training.

Sakura:Well, he's got nothing better to do. What would you have liked for him to do?

*Sakura asked, Mito finally decided to look at Sakura. Sakura could see the hurt in the younger girl's eyes*

Mito:to swallow his pride, and to come stay here with me, we both know you and Hinata would've let him with no problems. But he didn't.

Sakura:That doesn't mean he doesn't love you. It means he's just a moron

*Sakura said with a sigh, they didn't speak much more after that, they stayed quiet and ate their meal*

Meanwhile, with Naruto

*Naruto and this ancient demon stared at each other, Naruto held no fear inside his heart, no doubt behind his mind. He was certain in his conviction. The demon sat down in front of him and finally spoke*

Anakin: The moment you've stepped on my cave, I saw your life from birth to now. Naruto uzumaki, the ronin following a dark path similar to my own.

Naruto:Yes. The only difference is that I'm not looking to save my loved ones from dying. Death is natural, and no one can escape it. While fear of losing fueled you, anger of the world fuels me. Can I have your name, or shall I continue calling you the Skywalker?

*Naruto asked. He heard the mechanical breathing of this ancient being. It was chilling, almost unbelievable to believe this thing was once human. But he was, Naruto blinked once, and the demon transformed what could only be his old human form*

* Although his eyes never changed, those piercing yellow eyes that held so much power. But also so much hatred, behind them, Anakin looked at himself for a second before chuckling*

Anakin: it's been such a long time since I took this form, I almost forgot about it. my name is Anakin Skywalker. I must admit, I find it amusing that my life story got so twisted by word of mouth that people now believe I used to walk on the sky just because of my last name

Naruto:So you can't? That's a shame, I kinda thought that was cool. The historian in me wants to ask you so many questions about your life, to fill the blanks of the scrolls we have of you, but that's not why I am here

*Naruto said, "At the very least, he was entertaining to this demon, so the meeting was going well." Anakin nodded*

Anakin:You want my power.

Naruto:Yes. I surmise that what remains of it. It's all concentrated on your sword. Hence why your soul is still here.

*Naruto said, looking at the blade. If he looked hard enough, he could almost make out the screaming faces of the people Anakin had killed.

Anakin:What a smart ronin you are. You are correct. But if you take it, my soul will be forever tied to yours until your dying days.

Naruto:Hm. Will you try to take over my body?

*Naruto asked, at that Naruto saw his eyes changed, Anakin's eyes once filled with so much hatred, turned to sadness, as he gave a bitter chuckle*

Anakin:No. Maybe once upon a time, I would've, but I'm ancient boy. That lava of hatred that once fueled me has now cooled down. The fire is still there, but the motivation is not. Since for what reason would I take control?

*Anakin asked, as he raised his hand and shadows of figures appeared around them, for Naruto they were just shadows, for Anakin, they were the people that once mattered so much to him*

Anakin: Everyone I've ever loved is dead. The world I once knew is completely gone. Even your iron country is so different from the one I knew. I have absolutely no reason to take control.

Naruto:You say that it's different. Is it better than it used to be?

*Naruto said, not being able to quell the historian inside of him completely, Anakin hummed in thought for a moment*

Anakin:The code you now live by is definitely better. Since it allows you to fall in love, also the fact that you don't have to be born into a samurai family, but you've lost so much territory, that now your nothing more than a spec of what iron country used to be. There were no different elemental villages. They were all united as one, an old republic, you might say.

Naruto: fascinating, and while yes, We've lost territory, but we didn't lose our honor. We didn't lose what matters most. Our teachings, our people, they still live, they live better lives than other civilians in other elemental nations, you've seen my memories, you've seen my travels. You know I speak the truth.

*Naruto said, Anakin nodded in agreement. As the world returned to normal, the pure darkness of the cave disappeared, it was replaced by mist, he looked around, and he couldn't describe where he was, it was like some sort of world between worlds. All that was left was Anakin, himself, and the sword on the stone. Naruto looked at the ancient being*

Naruto:Very well. So what do I have to do to take the sword?

Anakin:You have to make a choice first, one final test

*Anakin said as the sword floated towards him. He took it out of the scabbard, showing its crimson red, Naruto looked to his side. There was a sword for him to use, so he took it and got into a fighting stance. Naruto felt as if he was pushed, by some sort of....force :D. He grunted on the ground and saw Anakin walking towards him, through the mist*

Naruto:Now this is a test I can work with

*Naruto said, running towards Anakin and slashing, but then Naruto realized his grave error*

Naruto:You weren't a ronin, were you?

Anakin:No. I wasn't

*Anakin said, and with one swing of his crimson red blade, he was able to break Naruto's offense and kick him back*

Anakin: I followed what is now known as the training path. Prepare yourself, little ronin. I'm about to show you how much stronger the samurai used to be.

Naruto:So this is my test, huh?

*Naruto asked, getting back up and back to a fighting stance. He did start taking steps back, as Anakin moved forward*

Anakin:live. Or die.
