*Everyone was making room, since the snake mistress of konoha was angry, more then angry, she was furious. Anko was stomping her way to the Hokage tower, to complain with Itachi that team 8 didn't arrive. Anko was confused when her sun was blocked, and she chuckled darkly*

Anko;whoever is covering my sun, I'm gonna take you to the torture department and....

*Anko started screaming, looking up, to see just who had the stones To annoy her while she's angry. What she saw wasn't any person, but a huge swarm, a swarm coming her way*

Anko:are those butterflies?

Back to the capital

*A butterfly landed on Naruto's finger and spoke in that strange language that only Naruto understood. Naruto nodded and then looked at Hinata with a small smile*

Naruto: just got word, this anko has been caught, and will be migrated to your kurenai sensei.

Hinata:t..thank you for that, but. I do have a question

*Hinata asked, she looked uncomfortable with what she was gonna ask, and Naruto shot him a calm, encouraging smile*

Naruto:then please, tell me your question, and I'll be more than happy to answer

Hinata:you and Kenshin don't...don't do a good job, hiding your hatred on Shinobi's.

*Hinata said a bit too bluntly for her taste, kenshin's smile became smaller, while Naruto's became more calm, waving her hand at Hinata to continue, it made Hinata feel a little more comfortable speaking her mind, seeing N so calm*

Hinata:N, you do much better than Kenshin, but there're still moments where I can see the disgust, it's...it's only there for a moment, but it was still there

Naruto:I see

*Naruto simply said, looking down at his tea cup, and finishing the cup in one gulp, barely enjoying the delicate taste of the tea*

Naruto:ah, if you're asking me to apologize, I won't be doing that. Since that would be admitting fault, and I hold no fault, since this is just how iron country views Shinobi

Hinata:n..no no, it's nothing like that. Nothing of the sort.

*Hinata said a bit nervously, shaking her hands to stop Naruto's thought process. Naruto nodded and filled himself with another cup*

Hinata:I understand that you're from a place completely different then the rest of the elemental nations, and that you hold different values

Naruto ok, then what is your question?

*Naruto asked curiously, taking a stick with dangos, and eating them. Hinata took a breath, and spoke the question that's been in her mind, for quite some time*

Hinata:if you hate Shinobi's, how come you have Shinobi friends?

Naruto:ah

*Naruto said, understanding the answer, and he even chuckled a little. Kenshin glanced at his friend, also curious about that, i mean the yellow haired man, joined a war with Shinobi scum, for goodness sakes*

Naruto:the same question a lot of people in iron ask me. And I'll give you the same answer, that I give them. There was this old man I met on my earliest of travels, he told me something that has stuck with me since I've met him. He said "well, I hate people individually, but I love mankind"

*Naruto said, with a small smile remembering the odd but quite funny individual. Naruto then looked at Hinata with a crooked smile*

Naruto:the same is true with me and Shinobi, while I hate your profession, I love the human you are behind it.

*Naruto explained. Hinata saw Kenshin frown a little, but kept his mouth shut, and ate the cookies he ordered*

Naruto:Unlike many in iron country, I understand that at the end of the day it's just a job, a dishonorable, horrible job, that I despise with every fiber of my being.

*Naruto said, his face showing more and more disgust, as it looked like the cup was gonna break in his hand, but then he calmed down and smiled like nothing happened*

Naruto: But still a job. I know that you are more then just a job. For example you my dear Hinata, are a sweet girl who loves her friends, has a big sweet tooth, love to eat, loves animal, loves to sing when she thinks no one is around, you just....love.

*Naruto said, making Hinata blush completely, she wasn't expecting to be praised in this conversation, and she could only squeak a little, her body trembling. That charming grin Naruto had just made Hinata feel more butterflies in her stomach*

Naruto:if I could describe you in a single word, it would be that. Love. You my dear are a pure representation of love

Kenshin:I believe you broke her. will

*Kenshin said chuckling, calling Naruto by the characteristic he most sees in his friend. Naruto chuckled softly, doing the same thing for Kenshin*

Naruto:I believe I did. peace

Hinata:I..I'm fine, I'm fine. I just.... wasn't expecting that, it took me by surprise that you would say that about me.

*Hinata said softly, fanning herself to calm down a bit, it's been such a long time since someone praised her like that, and Naruto just does it like it's nothing, like he actually believes those nice things he said, if only hinata would believe believe them too. Naruto just shrugged with a grin, that grin turned into a smitten smile*

Naruto:it's not hard to describe you my dear, for example if I were to do it with Sakura, I would say passion. She has a fire inside of her when she gets motivated, it's really quite lovely to see

Hinata:....Sakura is the girl you like isn't it?

*Hinata said with a small grin, Naruto flinched a little and chuckled, rubbing the back of his head. Naruto punched Kenshin semi playfully when he snorted*

Naruto:....was I being that transparent?

Hinata:a.. a little bit, the smitten smile gave you away. Don't worry, your secret is safe with me

*Hinata said with a kind smile, Naruto nodded in appreciation, and completely and purposely ignoring kenshin's smug smile*

Naruto:so, what happened after this anko came in for the next exam?

Hinata:oh, well she dragged us to the forest of death. The place you go, to hunt all our meats. I'm...I'm just gonna skip that one, since nothing really important happened to my team. Kiba and shino, both there clans being tracking clans, they were able to find the scrolls we needed to pass the second exam quite easily. Although something did happen to Sakura's team.

*Hinata said, remembering what she heard, she saw the change in N's eyes, which made her giggle softly, now that the secret was out, N wasn't hiding who he liked*

Hinata:they faced against the snake sannin Orochimaru

Naruto:ah, I've met him quite a few times in my travels. Never met a bigger fool in my life, since his goals is to be immortal, but no one can reach such a goal. To be mortal, is to be human. All he's doing is pissing off the Shinigami

*Naruto said, recalling his time in the sound village, meeting their leader that being Orochimaru himself, Naruto still remembers those eyes, those calculating eyes*

Hinata: you've....met Orochimaru?

Naruto:well, he is the leader of the sound village Hinata, yes. I've met him, and I've seen a few of his experiments. I'll admit that he is quite the genius, in his own right

*Naruto said, remembering Orochimaru taking him, to one of his experiments, seeing the people stuck in those walls, barely alive. All becoming nothing more than lab rats, for their leader*

Hinata:then, why didn't you go to war, like you did with Kiri? Isn't yagura and Orochimaru the same?

Naruto:first of all, because there was no war to be had, I joined the Kiri civil war, in the middle of it, they already were fighting a whole year before I joined them. The rebellion were on the losing end, and then I just so happened to be walking in the area

Kenshin:N your rambling

*Kenshin said taking a sip of his tea, Naruto clicked his tongue, he almost went on a flashback of his own, he chuckled softly and looked at Hinata*

Naruto:sorry about that, as for Orochimaru and yagura being the same? not even a little, Orochimaru isn't forcing anyone to do anything, again that's propaganda from the leaf village, I wouldn't be surprised, if they soon attack the sound, wonder what excuse they'll use to justify such an actions

*Naruto thought out loud, looking up at the ceiling, knowing that if that really does happen, he will have to fight with sound country, to pay the debt he owes Orochimaru. Since that seal book Naruto has? He didn't find it with some merchant, like he tells everyone, Orochimaru gave it to Naruto, in exchange for a favor, a favor that is yet, to be paid. Naruto shook his head and kept talking*

Naruto:those who volunteer for his experiments, there family are very well compensated. 1 sacrifice could make a poor family, move up to high middle class. Yagura on the other hand, forced his experiment on the civilians under his control. As vile as Orochimaru Is, and I do admit his methods are vile, he isn't the worst person in the elemental nations, at least not in my eyes. Now yagura, let me tell you something, about what a real vile human being is...

Kenshin:N your rambling again

*Kenshin said with a small smirk, Naruto looked surprised and then coughed a little, with a small blush on his face, and a crooked smile on his lips*

Naruto:oh dear, my apologies. Please hinata continue

Hinata:oh right, so Orochimaru attacked Sakura's team, bitting Sasuke and giving him some sort of mark, I don't know what it does, but if I had to guess, it gave him a power boost of some sort. So after much waiting, the remaining competitors made it....
