Last time

*Just as she was about to finish Naruto and Kenshin appeared in front of them, Kenshin smiling kindly at them, and Naruto dusting off his bloody kimono. He looked at Hinata and smiled at her*

Naruto:so, I believe you owe us an explanation Hinata

Now

Hinata:N, your covered in blood!

Naruto:yes I am, but I'm fine. The butterflies have already healed me, as it is in their nature. To heal their summoner. So please calm yourself

*Naruto said gently petting Hinata's hair, in the background Kiba was scowling seeing N so close to "his mate" while shino showed admiration over the mention of the butterfly contract. And kurenai just stood there, keeping an eye out for Kiba, and letting Hinata have her moment*

Hinata:I..I'm sorry I don't know why my clan would do this

Naruto:do not apologize for something you didn't do. Just because you share blood, doesn't mean you share fault. Now, where is your mission?

*Naruto ask kindly, he looked at kurenai for a response, and she responded, although she was confused on why this ronin was asking*

Kurenai:uh, we're being ask to be bodyguards at the fire capital, for some politician party

Naruto:ah. Butterflies you heard them. Fire capital if you'll be so kind

*Naruto said as Hinata and Kenshin prepared themselves as they exploded into butterflies, kurenai and shino understanding what was happening, remained calm even if the feeling was uncomfortable for them. As for Kiba? Like the mongrel he is, he yelled, and fought with the butterflies but ultimately his hole body exploded into them. Leaving Naruto as the last one to explode*

At the fire capital

*They all appeared safely a hotel complex, kurenai looked around, and nodded in appreciation to Naruto*

Kurenai:thank you for the ride, we are ahead of schedule now, That's fantastic but why did we land on this hotel?

Naruto:it was my pleasure. And the butterfly migration comes with a bit of a catch, for me to use it I need to have been there before.

*Naruto started explaining, as he walked to the front desk, and showed the woman some papers, the woman nodded and stamped it*

Naruto:Kinda why I took the ronin route, since it would mean that I would've walked all over the elemental nations, by the time I am 21, and therefore have access to travel everywhere. Also since I've been here before, I gotten a discount on your rooms

Kurenai:I see, you're being far too kind. But I appreciate none the less

*Kurenai said, a little taken back by the ronin kindness, giving his feelings for Kiba. Or more specifically, kurenai thoughts on Naruto's feelings towards kiba. Since Naruto didn't care about him, barely even acknowledge his existence, apart from the boy who smells of wet dog. So Naruto looked at kurenai and gave her a smile*

Naruto:think nothing of it. It's my pleasure to help those who are close to me, in this situation that being Hinata.

*Naruto said, causing Hinata to blush slightly, having a warm feeling inside her stomach, of having someone else care for her*

Naruto: Now, while you are get settled in. Kenshin, Hinata, and myself will be heading to a tea shop, so that she can tell us the story behind her family

Kenshin:giving her reaction do it, it can't be a good one

*Kenshin whispered to Naruto, as both glanced at the girl, who was looking uncomfortable. Her past, was something she clearly didn't want to discuss. Naruto just shrugged a little and whispered back to his friend*

Naruto:true. But I can't very well get attacked, without knowing the reason behind it

Kenshin: fair

*They both walked out of the hotel, with Naruto holding the door out, waiting for Hinata to join them. Kurenai shrugged and followed the receptionist to there rooms, but kurenai had this itch at the back of her skull*

Kurenai:I can't help, but feel like I'm forgetting something.....

Meanwhile in Konoha

*We see anko waiting around In the designated waiting spot. Looking around annoyed that team 8 hasn't arrived yet*

Anko:where the hell is team 8?

Back to the capital

With Hinata

Hinata took a breath, mentally preparing herself, to relive that awful memory, but she went with Naruto. They walked in silence for a while, till Naruto does what he always does when he's walking, he sings*

Naruto:Leaves from the vine Falling so slow

*Naruto sang, Kenshin just grew a soft smile, since Naruto was singing an old lullaby miss Takeda would or the sisters of the orphanage, would sing to them*

Naruto:Like fragile tiny shells Drifting in the foam

*Naruto sang, taking Hinata out of her thought of the past, and to at least enjoy the present, and enjoy the song, keeping her in the present*

Naruto:Little soldier boy Come marching home

*Naruto sang, as for himself. He was having a small flashback of a memory he holds dear to his heart*

Quick Flashback

Late at night

*We see Naruto in the roof of the orphanage, it's been month since the death of Emiko, and Naruto has yet to say a word to anybody. He just kept to himself, ignoring his other friends. Naruto heard footsteps from behind him, but he didn't react, if some sister was coming here to punish him, for being out at this time of night, then so be it. The person sat down next to him, Naruto glanced and it was miss Takeda, who looked down at him and gave him a warm smile. Naruto didn't show any emotions, and just looked back at the mountains. They didn't say a word, miss Takeda just sat there, giving Naruto some company. That's when she took Naruto by surprise, at the sound of an instrument, he looked, and sure enough miss Takeda had said instrument on her hand as she started to sing, to fill the darkness of the night*

Miss Takeda: Leaves from the vine Falling so slow....

Back to the present

Naruto:Brave soldier boy Comes marching home

Hinata:that was a very sweet song N-kun

*Hinata said with a small smile, Naruto smiled kindly at her, as he repeated the song, only this time he only hummed it. Hinata giggled softly, when she heard Kenshin also humming it, finding their interaction cute*

Scene change

*Naruto opened the door to the tea shop, and held it for the other two, who walked inside giving him nods of gratitude. As soon as some of the waitresses saw Naruto, two walked up to him and slapped him, Naruto in turn slapped Kenshin, who was taken off guard*

Kenshin:what the hell dude?!

Naruto:whoops, sorry, got caught up in the moment there for a second. Naomi, chika, lovely to see you girls again

*Naruto said with a chuckle, acting like nothing happened, like he didn't skip out of town, after their little three-way. The two girls shot Naruto a dirty look, and left him. Naruto just shrugged and walked to an empty table grabbing a menu, like this was normal for him, which it kinda was. Kenshin was rubbing his cheek with an annoyed sigh, as he sat down. With Hinata joining right after him*

Naruto:oh, they added orange peel tea, how lovely. Though I recommend the Kuromamecha. They make the most wonderful Black Soybean Tea here

Kenshin:hm. I'll trust your judgement

Hinata:s..same

*They both said, not even looking at the menu, a waitress walked up giving Naruto a stink eye, but he ignored it and gave her a charming smile. Seeing as this woman was dropped dead gorgeous*

Inside Naruto's brain

*Samurai Naruto was in a full plate of armor, spear In hand waiting for the attack, he saw as the light disappeared and turned around, his eyes widen as civilian Naruto stood there in a giant form, his hand  seconds away from crushing him*

S Naruto:....bring it on!!!

*Samurai Naruto screamed as he ran towards the hand of the horny giant, without fear*

Back to the outside

Naruto:lovely, hello darling. We'll take 2 kettles of tea one for the two of them, and one for me. And some dangos please. And maybe your company once you're off work

Iha:I just saw my two friends slap you. You think I'm gonna want your company?

*Iha said, surprised at this customer's boldness. Kenshin sighed rolling his eyes, and Hinata? Well she was just happy that Naruto was distracted, so that she wouldn't have to talk. Naruto chuckled waving his hand dismissively*

Naruto:there mad I left before they woke up, but tell me this, did they complain about what we actually did

Iha:....no. they actually enjoyed that part..

*Iha said looking at Naruto up and down, his charming smile turned into a grin, as he winked at her*

Naruto:also I made it clear, that I wasn't looking for anything serious, just a bit of fun before I had to continue on my journey. But of course someone as beautiful as yourself, deserves more than just one night...

Kenshin"god, he's unbelievable"

*Kenshin thought with a breathless chuckle. Since both he, Naruto and even Hinata a little bit, knew Naruto was lying. Sadly for Naruto, iha wasn't a fool, so she just smiled at him, touching his shoulder, and got real close to him*

Iha:really now...well it you leave me a big tip, I might be free when I get off

Naruto: oh, then I guarantee that you'll be free, with how big of a tip I'll be leaving

*Iha gave a fake giggle, as if she would be impressed by that and walked away. Naruto watched her leave with lust behind his eyes and he wasn't even hiding it*

Kenshin:you know she's just using you for a big tip right?

Naruto:oh you naive polygamist friend of mine. That's just part of the game

*Naruto said dismissively, as he looked at the two people in front of him, his grin still there, but a lot smaller then before, much more calm*

Naruto:I bet right now she's talking with her friend how she's gonna go out with me, suck as much money as she possibly can out of me, before ditching me somewhere

Kenshin:ok I'll bite, and what are you gonna do about it?

*Kenshin asked with a sigh, knowing that his friend is gonna get played, and worse yet, he was letting himself get played*

Naruto: play along, till she sees I'm not such a bad guy to know, and make sure she has fun on the date at least. But that can wait now Hinata

Hinata:f..fudge

*Hinata cursed, or her version of cursing at least, since she thought she was gonna get away with not talking about her past. But Naruto just smiled at her*

Naruto:i believe it is time you started talking
