*the 4 of them looked at each other, waiting for someone to make the first move. Shizune and Tsunade flinched and ready themselves, when kenshin's arm, moved up, stopping Naruto from moving. Naruto knew what that meant, even if they didn't speak, Naruto knew Kenshin, well enough to understand what he was spelling out. Naruto glanced at him, with fire inside his eyes, a fire that wants to be spread, by killing these Shinobi, who insulted him*

Naruto:K, you can't be serious, this would be considered self defense

Kenshin:N, no killing. Even if it's self defense, we're in enemy territory, it'll look back for the image of iron, if we kill these filth of the earth

*Kenshin said with hatred behind his tone, the just like anybody in iron country, he despised shinobi, but Kenshin was still a pacifist at heart, and he would not kill.*

Naruto:but K, they insulted my honor, spreading lies that I stole this, when I won it fairly

Kenshin:and they will pay, just not with there lives, as the higher member I'm not telling, I'm ordering you, we will not kill them

* Kenshin said pulling rank, Naruto sighed, knowing that the ronin route, was the lowest rank in there country, in terms of physical strengths, so Kenshin was in charge, if this were more spiritually, Naruto would be in charge. So Naruto listened, putting his blade away, and swapping it with his spear, he slammed his foot at the metal part, snapping it, making the spear into a bo staff*

Meanwhile with Tenten

*She was walking with the other girls, Kushina was mad at Minato, for leaving without warning her, about the secret mission. So she gave the namikaze checkbook to Sakura, telling her to get her friends, and go crazy. We see tenten looking for some new shoes, when she stopped, Tenten fell to her knees, holding her chest in pain, the others looked at her with concern*

Sakura:tenten, are you ok?!

Hinata:s..should we take you see miss Tsunade?

*Hinata asked, as tears started to fall from tenten's face, tears of absolute pain, Tenten being a much closer friend to Tenten, knew
This reaction, and wasn't that worried*

Tenten:someone in Konoha, just abused a beautiful weapon....

Back to the fight

*Naruto spins the Bo staff around, while in the background the metal part of the spear, returns to the scroll. Naruto stops and gets into fighting position*

Naruto:Tsunade of the saninn, And her apprentice Shizune, this will be your only warning, stop these baseless accusations, and let us walk peacefully.

Shizune:we share the same olive branch to you, return the necklace and you can leave!

*Naruto looked down at the necklace on his neck, and took it off, he tied it to his bo staff, before slamming it to the ground. Kenshin smirked enjoying the anger grow, in the faces of these two shibobi*

Naruto:come and take it from me then

*Naruto said, as both he and Kenshin turned into blur. Reappearing in front of them, Shizune blocked Naruto's kick, but the force was strong enough, to send her flying away from Tsunade, which was the plan. Naruto turned into a blur again, following the black hair woman. Before Tsunade could follow him, she dodged an attack from Kenshin, when the sword made contact with the ground, the force was strong enough to crack it*

Kenshin: concentrate on your opponent, you vile creature of the earth

With Naruto

At a children's park

*Naruto landed just as Shizune was getting up, Naruto held his bo staff on his shoulders, looking at the apprentice of the saninn with bored eyes*

Naruto:all this, for a necklace you know I won fairly? Seems rather petty, and childish if you ask me.

Shizune:that necklace means, more to lady Tsunade then you'll ever understand

*Shizune said hatefully, Naruto sighed, and raised his finger, wagging it no*

Naruto:ah ah ah, we're in a children's park. Do you really want to release poisonous gas? It could harm a child. Surely, this necklace isn't worth the death of the innocent?

*Naruto said with a smirk, since he couldn't attack to kill, he had to get, creative. Shizune looked around, and saw kids peeking around, to see the commotion. She sighed, that sigh, turned into wind leaving her stomach, since Naruto took the opportunity to stab the staff right into her stomach, hard enough to make her spit out saliva, Naruto spins the staff around, and was about to hit her again in the neck, knocking her out, before the fight even started, but Shizune flickered out of the way. Naruto jumped out of the way, from multiple senbon attacks, Naruto landed behind a swing set and sat down with a calm expression on his face*

Naruto: disgraceful, your a poison based fighter? Your whole body reeks of it.

*Naruto said looking where Shizune reappeared, Naruto's legs were a bit shaking, from repeated of his high speed, in such a short distance, so he was talking her out*

Naruto: I've proven that you can't touch me, I can even catch the senbon in mid air, do you honestly think, you can catch me slipping?

Shizune:then I guess I'll have to try another approach

*Shizune said getting in a fighting stance, Naruto raised an eyebrow, getting more interested in the fight, since Shizune's hand started to get surrounded by chakra*

Naruto: a Kabuto's chakra scalpel. Now we're getting interesting

Shizune:why am I not surprised, that someone like you, associates with that snake!

*Naruto clicked his tongue annoyed, he may not like Kabuto for the fact that he's a shibobi, but they still have a connection, both being orphan's raised by a loving person, only difference being, that Kabuto lost his, because of the leaf village*

Naruto:you call him a snake? If I'm not mistaken, Kabuto was used by your village, and was going to be killed, under orders of one of your elders named danzo, making him and his mother nonou fight to the death, before Orochimaru came, and saved him from death

Shizune:you know nothing, about what your talking about!

*Shizune said running to Naruto, Naruto frowned, as he flipped himself up, to be behind the swing set, and waited*

Naruto:you know it's a pity....

*When Shizune was at the perfect distance, Naruto used the chains of the swim set to wrapped it around Shizune's wrist, Shizune tried to use her other hand, but something she couldn't explain happened, the slice connected on Naruto's arm, but it did nothing. What's stranger is when her fist connected, instead of the sound of flesh tearing, Shizune heard what could only be metal clashing against metal, as if some invisible metal object was protecting Naruto's arm. Naruto didn't give her any more time to analyze it, elbowing her in the face, breaking her nose, making Shizune fall down. She tried to get up, but the sharp part of Naruto's bo staff, was right at her throat*

Naruto:I bet your a much better fighter then this, but your letting your emotions, make you do sloppy and obvious moves. Now since I'm a true warrior, this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna walk over there, and you'll walk in the other direction, then we'll face each other again. Only this time, don't let your emotions control your movements

*Naruto said walking away to the end of the park and waited. Shizune sat up straight, and looked at Naruto waiting, he even had his Bo staff next to him, not holding it, he was giving a chance of a fair fight*

Naruto:if you need a moment, to collect your breath, to calm your heart, take this time to do it, since fighting with emotions is a way to lose every time

Shizune:....your a strange person N. I'm your enemy and your treating me, as if I was a student

*Shizune said with a sigh, getting up, Naruto just shrugged and even gave her a small smile*

Naruto:I've been told that before, numerous times. And my answer to that, is because, I don't see you as my enemy. I see a fighter, trying to get something back, something she didn't think she would ever lose. Tell me, this necklace around my bo staff, what does it mean to you?

Shizune:it's a memory, a simbol of my uncle Dan kato, Tsunade gave it to him, but soon after he died. That necklace, is the last physical thing he was holding. It means a lot to me, surely you have something with similar affection.

*Shizune asked, sitting down on the swing, her fire for fighting leaving her body, through Naruto's questioning*

Naruto:indeed I do, a positive and a negative one. I have my tanto from the girl I loved, and the kunai that killed her. But deep down you know I won it fair and square, you should be mad at Tsunade for letting her gamble it away

Shizune:I know that's I... I know I should direct my anger on to her. But it's hard, she's the only family member I have left, and it's frustrates me how she acts!

*Shizune said getting up, letting her frustrations out, as always, Naruto's big brother vibe, just affected people, even if Shizune was older*

Shizune:all she does is drink and gamble! She's the greatest medical Shinobi in generations, not of her generations, but of multiple generations! And all she does is drink and gamble! Ever since her little brother and Dan died! I get that she's grieving but it's been decades! She could be training mito, god knows that little girl needs all the help she can get. But she doesn't! Dan would be ashamed of her!!

Kenshin:i believe that the change your looking for, will only happen if you confront her

*Both looked at the source of the new voice, and saw Kenshin walking up, with a bruise here and there. While Tsunade? She looked like she's been through a whole war, Shizune being a medical Shinobi, could tell that she has multiple if not all her ribs broken, her arms were also broken, so was one of her legs, she was bruised up and down, she was shocked but not really surprised seeing as how much of a shell, this drunk version of Tsunade is, so Shizune not surprised that Tsunade lost. Kenshin walked up to her, and handed Tsunade to Shizune*

Kenshin:and if she still refuses to listen, threaten that you'll leave her. Since while heartbreaking, sometimes you just have to let people go, and destroy themselves, since it's not your responsibility to help them, if they refuse to revive the help you've offered

Shizune:..... I'm not gonna get the necklace back am I?

*Shizune asked, looking at Naruto, Naruto glanced at the necklace, and then sighed, looked back at Shizune. No longer the Shinobi scum, but a civilian who lost something valuable, through no fault of her own*

Naruto:.... I'll make you a deal. If you can do what Kenshin said, and mean it. If you can walk away from Tsunade, and concentrate on yourself, and what's best for you. I'll give you the necklace back, since I may not have known him. But there's no way, your uncle would've wanted this life for you

*Before Shizune could respond, all 4 of them were surrounded by anbu, and Uchiha police. Since well they did fight in the public, and Kenshin did harm a sannin, you don't just do that, and get off scott free, just like that, a red hair Anbu walked up to them*

Anbu captain: the interim Hokage, would like a word with the 4 of you

Naruto "....so much for a happy ending"
