*another day passed in Konoha, it was officially 4 months since Naruto has been there, doing research. After searching for 4 different libraries, he still had 26 to go.*

At the apartment

*Sakura walked out of her room yawning, scratching under her shirt, she walked to the kitchen, and was surprised, no eggs, no waffles, no nothing, there was no breakfast, Sakura looked at Hinata digging up ingredients out from the fridge*

Sakura:what's going on? Is N sick?

Hinata:I don't know, I heard weird noises coming from his room last night. Either way, it's rude to expect him to cook breakfast for us everyday

*Hinata said as she started making blueberry pancakes, Sakura blushed a little, scratching her cheek*

Sakura:I know that, but....it's kinda nice, to know that there's always food on the table before I wake up, I just like the consistency of him that's all

Hinata:well, that can wait till tomorrow, since today is our 4 month anniversary of being roommates

*Hinata said with a bright innocent smile, she was one of those people, the kind that celebrated everything. Sakura sighed with a smile on her face looking at her best friend*

Sakura:never change, you sweet sweet, naive girl. Never change. Come on I'll help, I'll.... I don't know peel him a orange

Hinata: yay, oh, he is gonna love it. And maybe I can get him to tell me that I did a good job, or I'm proud of you!

*Hinata said with a goofy smile and giggle. And to be completely fair to her, the only male role model was hiashi and Neji stick up my ass hyuga, the poor girl, bless her heart, was desperate for any male approval, in the familiar sense, and Naruto was filling that older sibling role just fine. Sakura glanced at her with a forced smile on her face*

Sakura "she's Happy, remember that, she's happy, that's what matters, she's happy that's all that matters"

Sakura:y.. yeah, maybe

Scene change

*Hinata was giggling to herself, as she walked to N's room, she slowly opened the door to the room, when she saw breathing happening under the blankets, she tipped toe to the closer, leaving the food on the nightstand, she walked to the curtains, and mentally counted backwards from 3*

Hinata"o..ok, at the count of three, you yell Hinata, just like you practiced in the mirror"

*Hinata thought to herself before she ripped them opened*

Hinata:rise and shine!

Ino:argh, what the fuck?

*Hinata froze, that was not the voice of a boy, that was the voice of a girl, a girl she knew extremely well. Her eyes widen when the covers were lowered, and Hinata saw, ino Yamanaka naked on N's bed, with a naked sleeping N, right next to her*

Ino:Hinata...? What the hell are you doing here?

Hinata:.......yup, that should about do it

*Hinata said to herself, her face completely red, steam came out of her head, and she passed out on the bed. Ino was so confused, the confusion got worse, when someone else came into the room*

Sakura:hey I'm gonna.....

*Sakura saw ino covering her chest with a blanket, Hinata's tomato face passed out on the bed, and N covering his face with a pillow to cover the sun*

Ino: Sakura.....I'm gonna take a guess and say N's your new roommate huh?

Sakura: yes....yes he is. Now.... WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!!!?

*Sakura yelled, loud enough that every single neighbor in the complex heard her. Naruto on instincts jumped out the bed and full body bowed*

N:it was Kenshin, I swear Miss Takeda!!

*Naruto said out of instincts, Sakura blushed deeply since, N was indeed naked though inner Sakura didn't mind the sight*

Inner Sakura"god i just love seeing a man like that, put our foot in his back. Shannaro!"

Ino:ok, a lot of people here. N I'll see you later, Sakura it was nice seeing you. We so have to gossip about things, and tell Hinata I said hi

*Ino said quickly getting dressed and walking away from the situation, Naruto got up, rubbing his eyes*

Naruto:morning Sakura, shame ino had to leave, wouldn't have minded a quicky, before she left

*Naruto said yawning, Sakura eyes was twitching, since it was bright and early, and seeing as Naruto was male, what happened next was completely natural, and out of his control. He got an erection while he talked*

Sakura:PUT SOME DAMN CLOTHES ON!!!!

Scene change

*We see N, and Hinata sitting in the living room, both of them seeing Sakura walk back and forth in front of them, she would stop and glare at N, before continuing to pace more angrily*

Hinata: should we do something?

Naruto: I've seen this trick, with the sisters of the orphanage. No matter what we say, it won't stop it. Just let her get it out of her system

*Naruto whispered to Hinata, Naruto sighed, and did the one thing he knew would get Sakura to talk, the same thing he did in the orphanage with the sisters, he sunked down a bit on the couch and placed his feet on the table loudly. Sakura stopped, and slowly looked at N, who had the gall to smile at him*

Sakura:oh I'm sorry, am I interrupting something? I didn't realize this was supposed to be a relax conversation

Naruto:to be honest, I'm on cloud nine right now, so I'm pretty calm regardless, what's the big deal, there was nothing on the rulebook, about bringing dates here

*Naruto said with a shrug, he scratched himself a little, for no other reason, then to get a rise out of Sakura, and oh boy did it work*

Sakura:but did it have to be ino?! Out of all the girls in this super village, it had to be that pig?!

Naruto:.....did you want to sleep with her?

*Hinata moved away from Naruto a bit, since Sakura hit him, for saying something so stupid, and N just smiled that stupid charming smile, he always*

Sakura "wait a minute. It's not charming, it's stupid, stupid!"

Naruto:ok, that was in poor taste, I'll admit that. And I apologize, anyways. Why were you two in my room?

*Naruto asked, sitting back up straight, Hinata jumped and smiled nervously at him*

Hinata:I..it's our 4 month anniversary!

Naruto:no kidding? I've been here 4 months? I should right miss Takeda and the others a letter, tell them how I'm doing. But that can wait for later, how about I make us some blueberry pancakes, to celebrate?

*Naruto said smiling at Hinata, making her sigh with her knees shaking a little with excitement, Sakura sighed since she couldn't ruin Hinata's moment now*

Hinata:I...I already made them! There a bit cold but I..I can reheat them ! W..wait right here!

Naruto;I'm, not going anywhere, and don't run, you'll have an accident

*Naruto said sternly, Hinata squealed a little at that, and walked as fast as she could to get the food, both him and Sakura watched her go, until she was out of earshot*

Sakura:she's got daddy issues

Naruto:yeah, I figured as much, when she asked me to teach her how to ride a bike. Even bought her ice cream later when she got it right

*Naruto said calmly, he's been the older brother to so many little children in the orphanage, he's used to being in that role.*

Sakura:thank you for doing that, her....family isn't exactly the best

Naruto: giving that she was exiled, I can imagine, there's a story there. But I'll ask her another day, let's just give her today, you can yell at me tomorrow*

* Sakura sighed, nodding and sat down next to him, putting her feet on his lap, Naruto didn't even spared her a glance*

Sakura:but seriously? It had to be ino pig?

Naruto:we were both drunk and horny, don't forget all of us are still stupid teenagers.

*Naruto said with a shrug, Sakura sighed, she knew he was right, even if a lot of times she didn't feel like a teen, with all the missions she's had to do. But all that changes at least for this morning, when a shaking Hinata walked up to N and gave him the breakfast, Naruto smiled grabbing a fork and knife, he cut a slice and placed it close to Hinata's mouth, Hinata looked at him surprised*

Naruto: orphanage tradition, the person who cooks always gets the first bite

Hinata:t.. tradition? I'm part of a tradition? Great!

*Hinata said taking a bite with gusto, Naruto smiled and gave the second bite to Sakura, who raised an eyebrow with an amused smile*

Sakura:really?

Naruto:hey, I was raised to be a gentleman. And ladies always eat first

*Naruto said honestly, with a memory of the ass whooping, Mugen got for all the times he was anything but a gentleman. Sakura sighed and ate her bite. Hinata was looking at them, and couldn't help but think of something truly awful*

Hinata" Sakura got it because he's a gentleman, I got it because of tradition"

*Awful for her, she felt so bad about thinking like that, but a little part of her loved it. Naruto took a bite and ate it slowly, to enjoy the flavor, he looked at Hinata making her flinch, that tiny speck of fear....that big ball of fear, disappeared when Naruto petted her hair, giving her a warm smile*

Naruto:they taste delicious, Hinata thank you, you should be very proud of yourself, I sure as hell am

*Hinata again squealed, but Naruto and Sakura pretended they didn't hear it*

Naruto:do me a favor, get two more forks so they both of you can eat some

Hinata:y..yes, yes of course!

*Hinata said getting up, and almost running, but then just walked as fast as possible, Naruto sighed with a crooked smile and enjoyed his pancakes, overall just a very wholesome morning*
