*Sakura blushed a bit and was scandalized as Naruto took off the top half of his kimono giving Sakura a nice long view of his toned back. That blush quickly changed into surprised, that someone so young could have so many scars.*

*Naruto turned around with a raised eyebrow as Sakura saw his chest and more importantly more scars*

Naruto:sorry, did you say something?

Inner Sakura:Shānnarō! Touch it, touch it!!

*Sakura could hear that little voice in her head repeats, she shook her head and stopped herself from doing something ino would do*

Sakura: those...are a lot of scars

Naruto:the price of being a honorable warrior, in a world without honor. But I'm not too focus on them. They're just my trophies

*Naruto said looking at the scars he's accumulated over the years and travels. Sakura looked at him confused*

Sakura: trophies? But there just scars, there just ugly, uh no offense

Naruto:none taken, and I'll answer you question with a fact, there's this monks that live on a high mountain, far away from civilization, I met them once in my travels and they taught me how to see my scars as something different

*Naruto sat down and invited Sakura to sit down, Sakura sat down in front of him, Naruto took out a scroll and opened it, a small buff of smoke came from it, when he smoke cleared a tea cup appeared. Naruto grabbed The cup and showed it to Sakura, the cup was golden lines running across it*

Naruto:they taught me the art of kintsugi 'to join with gold' they glued this cup together with glue mixed with gold powder. The scars of this cup were transformed into something beautiful, something valuable.

*Naruto placed the cup back down and touched one of his scars. Sakura just kept looking at him waiting for him to continue*

Naruto: The same could be said about humans and the scars we take, look at my scars as another form of kintsugi, there not imperfections but trophies

*Naruto raised his hand with a scar to the sky with a smile, he remember the wise words that old man aang was mind enough to give do an outsider*

Naruto:there battles that I've won, the days I almost lost my own life but I made it to the other side with bravery. Those are the days that my skin opened and the skin healed back, making me stronger, more unique, more....well me. So no I don't see them as ugly, quite the opposite. I see them as my own golden powder making my body better

Sakura:I..see, can I touch one?

*Naruto gave Sakura his arm, Sakura grabbed it and rubbed her hand on the scar, she didn't know what to expect but the texture was oddly smooth*

Sakura:how, how did you get this one?

Naruto:.....

Flashback

*Naruto was in the middle of a gruesome battle against a sound Shinobi, blood was coming down his ears his vision was getting blurry and the poison was starting to take affect, Naruto was holding his sword tightly trying to concentrate. Naruto eyes widen as he looked up seeing a Shinobi falling down straight towards him with a blade*

Seiji:wind style! Vacuum Sword

*Naruto jumped out of the way as the sound of metal falling on the floor was heard, Naruto raised his arm and saw his hand was chopped clean off him. The adrenaline was slowly leaving his body as Naruto kept looking at the bleeding arm trembling. He felt a sharp pain and started screaming*

Okita:heh say goodnight samurai

*Naruto heard his opponent say, the way he said samurai with such disgust it made Naruto stop screaming and glare at him with nothin but hatred, the sword that was on the ground turned to smoke as on Naruto now only hand stood his spear, both dashed towards each other. The Shinobi was screaming, the samurai was calm, this was the move that would decide the fight. Both took a swing and much to the dread of the Shinobi, Naruto's spear broke the sword the Shinobi was holding, it was too late to escape and both landed on the other side of the field. Naruto's weapon puffed into smoke returning to its home as he kneeled down and grabbed his hand from the floor. He heard the shibobi's blood spill do the floor, he spared him a glance and saw him split in two*

Naruto:when I get healed up, I'll return and make sure you get a proper burial

*Naruto said giving the corpse a bow and exploding in a kaleidoscope of butterflies and disappearing from the area*

Present

Naruto: didn't dodge fast enough, is how. Managed to defeat my opponent and get medical care in time, the doctors were able to stitch my hand back in to my body, though it took me a long time to get my speed back on that arm. Are you gonna keep rubbing it or....?

*Naruto snickered a little when he saw Sakura get flustered and quickly let go of the arm*

Sakura:ejem, so you've been on a lot of fights huh?

Naruto:Comes with the duty of being a ronin in the Shinobi world, I'll always be fighting to help civilians wherever I go. Not like people as the copy ninja isn't that right Kakashi of the Sharingan?

*Sakura looked at Naruto confused, Naruto pointed up and Sakura looked, her eyes widen when there in the flesh was her sensei reading one of his book, resting on a branch*

Kakashi:so you've heard of me?

Naruto:did a little research on the man who helped me get an apartment, wanted to give you my gratitude, imagine my surprise when I find out the man who helped me. Is the same one who's responsible for the scar where my lung is

*Kakashi dropped down and gave Naruto his trade make one eye smile, Naruto gave him a nod, and Sakura just looked shocked*

Sakura:wait wait wait, you two fought?!

Naruto:long, long story that I'll be sure to tell you another time. But when we last faced he was wearing a White mask that resembled a dog

*Kakashi took out set mask from his back and showed it to Sakura, the top left side of the mask was broken, Naruto had a small smirk since he was responsible for that*

Kakashi:ah yes, that was one of my last missions in anbu. Shame my side ended up losing that conflict,

Naruto"so it was Konoha that helped that dictator stay in power, hm. I'm sure she'll get a kick out of this information"

*Naruto thought as Kakashi gave Naruto his hand, Naruto to be polite grabbed it and shook it before both let go*

Kakashi:but what's done it done. So N what brings you to Konoha? It's rare to see someone from iron so far from home.

Naruto:if you must know, I'm on vacation. But I'm curious did you know it was me when you helped me?

*Naruto got up and gave Sakura his hand, she grabbed it and Naruto helped her up, Kakashi just shrugged while in the background the other member of team 7 was walking towards them*

Kakashi:not even a little, honestly, I thought you died after our last fight. Didn't really stick around after that, couldn't thanks to you and that sword on your hip

Naruto:ah yes the battle that would decide the real ruler of that land. If I remember correctly I stabbed you right in the heart didn't I?

*Kakashi put his hand on his chin in thought, he nodded making Sakura eyes widen in surprised looking at her new roommate*

Sakura"just who the hell is this guy?"

Kakashi:yes, but you missed my heart by 5 centimeters. I didn't have that problem, I knew where I was aiming

Naruto:ah the arrogance of a shi...of people like you, why am I not surprised?

*Naruto said with a fake smile, Kakashi endulged him and pretended he didn't hear the slip. He turned around and walked to Sasuke giving Naruto a wave*

Kakashi:either way it was nice to see you again N, who knows maybe we can fight again. This time just for fun.

Naruto:can the hound demon fight without losing control? Maybe I'll take you up on that, I would love to see how much of the what is it you call it. Anbu? I would love to see how much of the anbu you is left

*Kakashi didn't respond instead he turned his head his one eye smile never leaving his face as he looked at Sakura*

Kakashi:You coming Sakura?

Sakura:yeah, I uh. Guess I'll see you later N

Naruto: till we meet again in the apartment. And please de Not forget what I said about
kintsugi

*Sakura nodded and waved her goodbye, Naruto snapped his neck and placed the top half of his kimono aside before climbing the tree and begining doing his workout*

Naruto"so the dog of Yagura lives on"

Kakashi"so the ronin of Terumi lives on"

Naruto/Kakashi"i should invite him for some tea"

*Both thought, there lust for the others blood having disappeared long ago. Naruto just shook his head and kept doing pulls ups*
