Next morning

*Sakura lifted her head from the drool infested pillow and smelled the air as the delicious smell woke her up from her deep sleep*

Sakura:mh, what smells so good?

*Sakura mumbled as she got off bed almost stumbling on her feet, she opened the door and looked at the door in front of front of her, Hinata opened her door at the same time only she had a terrible case of bed head*

Sakura:....you look like shit

Hinata:duck you

*Hinata said even in her sleepy like state, even with the fact that she's not a morning person, Hinata still couldn't curse to save her life, she was too pure for that. Both girls walked do the kitchen and saw the kitchen table already with food ready, and there new roommate finishing the miso soup and singing*

Naruto:Mijikai yoru ni mayoikonda meru Heya to kodoku terasu mabushii gamen Onaji toki onaji kimochi no ureshisetsunasa Ima kono kyori jikan sae mo tobikoete
Naki warai suki kimi no kokoro wa...

*Naruto turned around and looked at the two girls with a small smile. Sakura frowned a little since he was using her cherry blossom print apron.*

Naruto:good morning, I hope you've both slept well, I've made breakfast

Hinata:it...it all smells great thank you so much,  I didn't even know we had fish

Naruto:we didn't, but I went and fished some after my workout, good way to calm the mind

*Both girls sat and grabbed there utensils, Naruto frowned looking at them, having flashback of miss Takeda's stern life lessons*

Naruto:so, are you two just gonna eat without brushing your teeths?

*Both girls froze and looked at each other, they looked...well like they normally look every morning, but still. Naruto had a point, more so Hinata at least thought so. She quickly got up*

Hinata:o...oh dear your right, excuse us

Sakura:more like excuse you, I'll brush after breakfaaah!

*Sakura yelped as Hinata grabbed her wrist and pulled her to the bathroom with her. Naruto shrugged took the apron off, washed his hands and went to his seat to wait for them. Naruto trembled a little looking down at the food and the memory it brought*

Flashback

*We see little Naruto back at the orphanage waiting to eat while Mugen was eating already*

Naruto:miss Takeda told us to wait before we eat so she can get the other children, and you still haven't prayed

Mugen: I'm not gonna wait, besides she's not gonna know, beside why would I pray to the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha, when I'm starving? as long as you aren't a snitch I'll be fine

*Mugen said as he kept picking at the food where it wouldn't be noticable, Naruto pursed his lips and kept quiet, Mugen felt a chill run down his spine as a familiar hand touched his shoulder*

Takeda:mugen. What to you think your doing?

Mugen:n.. nothing, t..the food just fell and I uh, well...

Takeda:mugen. Let's have a little talk....

*That day 3 things could be heard, the sound of little mugen crying, the sound of a ruler hitting the little boy's bottom, and the sound of miss Takeda scolding him for such a rebellious act*

Present

Naruto;......

*Naruto like the good boy he is and still a little bit scared of an angry miss Takeda somehow appearing from behind him, placed his hands together and prayed before eating*

Scene change

*Hinata and Sakura came back looking almost the same, Hinata's hair was a bit more out together as she was now using a messy bun, Sakura didn't look all that different except for a bit of water still on her face. Naruto was Half way through his meal when the two of them sat down*

Sakura:like Hinata said, thanks for breaking.

Naruto: it's my pleasure, I always wake up early so I decided to cook for all of us instead of just me

*The 2 girls started eating and smiled since it tasted incredible, Hinata looked at her new roommate with a question*

Hinata:define early?

Naruto:around 5 am to get my workout done

*Hinata paled a little waking up that early, Even when she had the last name hyuga she didn't woke up that early*

Sakura:damn this is good, how did you get so good at cooking?

Naruto:the academy, why? Do they not teach you this in... shibobi school?

*Naruto had to control his tone to not sound disgusted at a school that educates students to lose there honor. Sakura trembled, since she didn't learn from the academy. No no no, she learned from something much worse*

Sakura:yeah....the one who taught me wasn't the academy

*Sakura said remembering when she called cooking stupid right to the face of the person who wanted to teach her*

Hinata:I, kinda learned to cook by myself actually. My family never really cooked, we always let other people do the cooking for us

Naruto:then answer me something how useful can a warrior be if they can't even cook for themselves?

*Naruto finished his grilled fish and looked at Hinata while in the background Sakura was having a PTSD flashbacks of her time learning to cook by Kushina namikaze*

Naruto:We won't always get the luxury of having a nice warm meal, one must learn to be self sufficient, in the academy they taught us to make food with whatever we could find or kill in the wild, they taught us what plants are poisonous and which aren't, useful stuff like that

Hinata: impressive, wish the shinobi school had a class like that, our friend choji akimichi's family has been arguing for a long time to make a class for that, but as of right now there's little support.

*Naruto nodded, as they kept eating, Sakura came back to the world with a scream that made Hinata jump and Naruto too look at her confused*

Sakura:i don't know where the lamb sauce is, please have mercy!!

Naruto:.  .  .are you well?

*Sakura coughed blushing a little of embarrassment but she nodded and kept eating*

Hinata:so N, any plans for today?

Naruto:yes, I'll keep sightseeing this village of yours, yesterday I barely scratched the surface, this place is huge

*Naruto said his mind already calculating all the libraries this village possessed, hopefully one of them will give him a clue of his lost clan*

Hinata:yes, it's the largest village in all the elemental nations, though kumo is close behind him by a mile or two of land, the fourth Hokage has expanded konoha's reach quite far, I think the Raikage sees that as a threat and has also expanded

Naruto:and yet it'll be the smaller Nations that will suffer

*Naruto muttered as he began to think what the 2 largest nations will do when they become too big to sustain themselves*

Naruto"that...is troubling to think about, when I return to my village I must speak to the emperor about this, less our village of iron or our new sister village of waves be used as the battlefield like in Amegakure so many years ago..."

*Naruto thought concern evident on the possibilities of another great war happening and iron being the victim since it would refuse to pick a side and remain as they always have, neutral*

Hinata:oh, I'm sure it'll be fine, the Hokage is a very kind man. He won't let the smaller Nations suffer like that

Sakura:yes, he's always talking about peace and for all nations to get along

*Naruto looked as if he tasted sour grapes, memories of his time in wave came in to his forefront, but unlike Tsunade and her arrogance, Naruto could tell that these two weren't that, just naive. So he remained silent on that subject*

Naruto:well, what about the two of you? What are your plans for the day?

Hinata:hm, I think I'm gonna go back to bed for a bit and when I wake up I'll do some training, then some studying since my team is meeting up again tomorrow. And...I don't know maybe a small walk would do me some good

*Hinata said with a finger on her chin, thinking of what else if anything she'll do this day*

Sakura:training, and I'll be meeting up with my teammates today, well at least Kakashi and Sasuke, my other teammate is still on a training journey with his grandfather. Your welcomed to come if you want, we'll be heading to a training ground, might give you space to do some more training

Naruto:I would be delighted to go, one can never train enough, there's always room for more. That's how the spirit stays....what's the word I'm looking for...ah yes, that's how the spirit stays youthful

*Sakura and Hinata forks fall from there hands as they both get a feeling of dread looking at there roommate that didn't noticed it and was finishing his eggs*

Sakura"oh dear Kami there another of them...."

Meanwhile with team Guy

*Both guy and lee stopped what they were doing and stood up straight. Tenten and Neji looked at them weirdly*

Lee:sensei.....

Guy:yes lee I felt it. Someone else who understands the power of youth is in Konoha!!!

Bandit1:what was that sound?!

Bandit 2:up there get them!!

*Tenten groaned and Neji looked annoyed looking at the two green wearing fellows, who just had a determined look on there faces*

Guy:come lee!! Let us finish this mission so we can meet this person!!

Lee:yosh!!!

*Both jumped from where they were hiding and started fighting, Tenten looked at Neji who's eye was twitching and she just patted his back*

Tenten:should we join in?

*Neji didn't response just went in to action, Tenten sighed and joined in as well this was gonna be a long day for her, Tenten just knows it*
