An expansive sky, populated by storms. There is a layer of ground at the bottom, and breaking it leads to the Netherworld. Most organisms live in the aether, shaping the clouds and lightning into their own habitats. The air may be thinner the higher up things go, and it will eventually lead to a black void, waiting. Many storms have an eye, but only one has the gift of speech. Yes, this Core is the creation of the universe, completely Undefined. What does it want? What does it dream about? The resident Angels believe they've cracked the code...

Predators that all found their way to a mystical core in the eye of a storm. A voice compelled them to change, and they did. They had six wings floating off their bodies, all having eyespots. They were covered in fur and feathers, and had eyes that only glowed one bright color. Their proboscises were tucked away, out of sight, as they deemed showing this part of themselves 'disgusting.' The Angels of this time are called Elden Angels.
Their societies are minimalistic, authoritarian, and focused on productivity. Any speck of imperfection is eradicated, with deformed offspring casted to the world below the clouds. Always searching for ways to improve themselves, even if it means taking from others. They acquired the power to summon halos to use as graspers and discharge electricity on their own, but from stealing from the Demons, they learned how to channel their essence into items. They even learned the secret to living longer than physically possible for their own species.
The Angels weren't immune to the changes of war, and by the end, had evolved. Four of their wings became thin, losing feathers and becoming something similar to arms and legs. Their remaining wings doubled in size, but they were only reduced to one halo and limited lightning. Now known as Bright Angels, they make up most of the Angel population.
The Angels have their own subspecies, even if there aren't nearly as many of them as the Demons. Instead of hybrids, most of these variations are from time, the eye of the storm, or experimentation.
Typh Angels, who evolved from the highest classes in their societies. Their feathers grew very long and ribbony, their halos multiplying and resembling eyes. They have more control over their lightning.
Lost Angels, who are the odd ones out of the subspecies. They are translucent, with two wings and a mane of fur. No halos or lightning, but they can only feel happiness. The purpose of this is unknown, but the Angels keep them, because in their joy, lies a persistence that never fades.
Virtuous Angels, who were experimented and purposed for the Morality War. They resemble their ancestors, the animals they used to be before they became sentient. Unfortunately, the Virtuous Angels required a great amount of resources to function, and were executed to extinction.
Perfect Angels, considered the perfected image the eye of the storm had imagined the Angels to be. Resembling a collection of thin strands twined together in a wheel-like formation, their eyespots became real eyes, and their wings multiplied. They can freely control electricity, fire, and light. There are very few Perfect Angels, as only the Core can choose who becomes ultimate.
Archangels, the unethical experimental hybrids between Humans and Angels. These hybrids are a Human mold with Angel features, at first being the arms as wings, and legs ending in points. Then they became perfected into a humanoid entity with many wings and a royal halo. Interestingly, the Archangels depend on a diet of blood.
