After the First Realm is the Second, and unlike its predecessor, it has color. The planets here are much more varied in mineral composition, having water, gas, or even a mix of all. One such planet was lucky to sustain life, and from this life, other worlds would begin to slowly become viable.

Lonpy
Comprehension: 3
The first residents to gain sentience, and prove to their world that they had ideas. The Lonpies grow to staggering heights, often wading through forests like a swimming pool. Their bodies are composed of several long, branching segments, which all connect at a center point, usually a cone-shaped organ which houses their heart. These segments actually contain all of their other vital functions, from little holes allowing them to breathe, to small mouths on the tips of short branchlets. Across their bodies are countless eyes, and they can freely move their segments around, allowing Lonpies to personalize themselves to a reasonable degree. From their central point grow whip-like antennae, which send and receive electrical signals they use to communicate with each other.
The Lonpies were slow-developing and slow-moving, allowing their advancement to bleed into the Genesis of Algebra, where they truly shined. Grand, giant cities were built, other worlds were colonized and rehabilitated, and a utopia was settled. But everything must end, eventually, and a billion years later they all died out due to an outbreak caused by a virus run rampant.

Fairy
Comprehension: 3
A species of insect that had evolved to be upright, with two arms and two legs, and large, flat wings covered in scales. While sporting compound eyes, antennae, and an abdomen, the Fairies were incredibly expressive for an insect. Not only did they come in an incredible array of colors, they also smiled, sung, and danced.
Then, one day, the Fairies found mechanisms and tools from the extinct Lonpies. The use of these relics caused war to break out, and the Fairies were divided amongst themselves. At first, they formed groups based on color, but then decided to inject themselves with performance-enhancing enzymes that physically changed their appearance, and even gave them powers.
The known Fairy clades are:
Thorns, who are covered head to toe in spikes.
Dragons, who are the biggest, are quadruped, and almost reptilian.
Ripples, who have adapted to being aquatic. They have flippers for feet and clear wings.
Hunters, who are the most advanced, having created specialized wands and staff that allow magic to be channeled.
Blights, who are the smallest, and plague crops.
Winds, who have the biggest wings, and the power to generate their own currents.
The Fairy Wars eventually led to their extinction exactly 367 million years before the Rapture, once again leaving the Second Realm lonely. A shame too, really, as the Fairies didn't get enough time to shine compared to other species here.

Avesian
Comprehension: 3
Their ancestor came from an artificially genetically-derived creature made by the Lonpies, which not only survived the outbreak, but the Fairy Wars. With the worlds to themselves, the Avesians evolved and split into thousands of different species. Listing them all would be a hindrance, but deep down, they are all the same, which allows them to hybridize and connect with one another so easily.
One branch of the Avesians, the Robins, found the same tactics the Fairies used and gave themselves unique attributes and powers. However, these powers are significantly weaker due to the technology making this possible eroding with time.
Drill Robins have a rotating horn on the top of their head, long whiskers, and poor eyesight. They can't fly either, as their wings have adapted to being shovels.
Fire Robins are immune to fire, and can ignite themselves at will. Due to this, they are known arsonists.
Thunder Robins are very large and can discharge electricity. They also have specialized rods made of a bio-metal to help them conduct energy.
Poison Robins have many more wings than the average member of its species. They are also very poisonous.
Lake Robins have iridescent feathers, webbed feet, and gills to breathe with.
Parasite Robins have flower-like growths emerging from between their feathers, and sharp teeth to stealthily lap up blood with.
Prism Robins mostly come in pure white plumage, but their feathers reflect light into rainbows that can bounce off of them for self defense.
Another branch of Avesians, the Crows, became very adaptive and formed an alliance with the Parrots in order to safely build a new society. Progress of the Avesians has been monitored for millions of years, but no significant advancements have been made in terms of transportation or technology. They have, however, domesticated a living slime to use as food and glue for their structures.
