A beautiful realm of starry space, with plenty of planets hosting simple lifeforms. The simplicity is enough to not warrant an evolution into something sentient, even less sapient. The flora and organisms of these many worlds all act on autopilot, almost as if they were computer simulations...
Due to the simple creatures of this realm, it became an easy target for the Humans of the Old World. The dimension was quickly turned into a base, and then a home. Through time, mechanical technology has faded, but life has flourished mindlessly. You may ask what became of the Humans that ruled this realm, and lucky for you, this guide will answer it.

The Humans who took over the Eighth Realm did not get along. A majority of them were pure Humans, and a fraction of them were mutants, who had personalized themselves into irregular oddities that had much more capability. Even then, clashes in politics and morality caused the Humans to split up into different factions. A very tiny faction was regarded as terrorists, and for good reason.
Through genetic manipulation, this faction created a bio-weapon capable of transforming its victim into a mindless beast, not unlike the animals native to this realm. From anger and resentment, this weapon was cast onto most of the Human population. Those that were left unchanged witnessed the others lose themselves, crawl on all fours, sprout wings, tails, talons, and scream into oblivion.
...but there was always a strand of hope left. In these suffering creatures, a sliver of their former selves remained. Throughout millions of years, this grew and fruited, until they noticed their reflections and learned to think. They formed a sense of self, and soon, companionship. Now called Dragons, they used their wings and strength to shape a new world for themselves. Their structures are carved from the environment, personalized, as Dragons come in more diversity than ever before. Some are as small as insects, while others tower between mountains. The giants that perish become homes for others.
Although the chance of interaction is 0.007%, the Dragons could be confused with the Lords, a species native to the Sporeal Reality.
