This black and white land only contains the colors black and white, eliminating any chance of a proper grayscale. Overlapping colors will often alternate depending on its surroundings. Regardless, this dimension has a very simple form of life: microorganisms. While it cannot be lived in by most other species, the two invasives that made their home here either have no need to breathe or eat, or are very meticulous and tolerating.

While the native fauna haven't evolved past a microscopic size, strange cities have been built. Roads going to nowhere can be found, and so can random curtains and stations. Maintaining them is futile, however, as with enough time, everything will become dust for the creatures.

Scrattling

It is unknown where the Scrattlings originated, but their genetic makeup does not align with the Null Zone, thus dubbing them as an invasive species. While mysterious, with no records of history of any kind, the Scrattlings are extremely friendly. They are long and alternate between black and white, their bodies often softly contorting through shapes as they float. They may have no visible mouth, but they filter the air and ground for the microbes that live in the Null Zone.

Saint

Holy Effervesce In The Name Of Faith took over Old World's Earth via religious manipulation, and a pathogen called end-of-sufferings. Those infected by the virus became beings of light, known as Saints. This event is called the Rapture.

The first symptom in infection is lethargy. When the infection is severe, the host loses their head, being replaced by a ring of light that has a different symbol depending on the individual. Then, the rest of the body is shed, replaced by light. Key features, such as organic wings or tails, will echo in the form of light. Strands of luminance accompany Saints, and are used as weapons or tools. The Saints themselves experience the sensation of hunger, despite not needing to eat or drink. They may also attempt to breathe, but are unable to do so thanks to a lack of lungs. Saints are not immortal, however, and will die if struck with dark forces or adjacent energies.

Most Saints reside in the Blessed Realm, which was also created by Holy Effervesce In The Name Of Faith. The Saints who refused to follow this Ascended were banished to the Null Zone. At first, they wallowed in despair. Then some of them decided to make their new home better, and founded the cities that now litter this dimension.
