The Dimensional Spacetime Protection Agency has tried and failed to get a grasp on the workings of this reality. It is nonsense at its most basic form. A void of colorful, sparkling, glittering, miracle matter that has absolutely random effects on whatever interacts with it. The possibilities with this are virtually endless! Only a fraction of it can be used to create an entire magic system, and another fraction will create something uniquely different. Truly, a remarkable feature of the dimension, but there is always a downside. The miracle matter that the Illuminated Reality produces is often the harasser of a prank, as most interactions lead to the victim being violently contorted into a randomized state. Minor or seriously unstable, throw caution to the winds of this dimension.

Thankfully, the residents of this dimension, along with the Dimensional Spacetime Protection Agency, have found a solution in the madness. In an infinite number of outcomes, the Lightborn pinpointed a spell to ward away the miracle matter. In addition to this, they found outcomes that allow immunity to the miracle matter, and even more that can seclude outcomes that can be used to create non-randomized forms of matter. Societies have been built around this, and most cities live joyous lives.

However, there are times that the Illuminated Reality fails to keep up with its borders, and sometimes, a small amount of miracle matter will escape to other dimensions. One of the most famous examples is the Cosmic Realm, which allowed several magical species to spawn and for planets to contain life despite not having a sun or other method of warmth and energy. Another example is the planet Hemilous, located in the Sporeal Reality, which allowed its life to become weird, diverse, and fantastical.

The Dimensional Spacetime Protection Agency cannot come to a consensus on what the comprehension rating of a Lightborn is, due to their extreme diversity and how they even form in the first place. Born from the miracle matter, Lightborn take on an infinite number of shapes and sizes. What determines a dividing, unique species from them is the ability to clone and replicate with exact precision.

Notable Lightborn divisions include:

Barons, glassy creatures, could change color based on emotion.

Necromarrow, made of bones, essentially living skeletons.

Observers, serpentine creatures with large scales that flash colors to communicate.

Photons, made of pure light, are incredibly fast.

Sapphiretics, very simple and made of physical light, with interesting eyes.

Lumossics, which take on a form similar to Clicas, have many more legs and an insectile appearance.

Rypt, winged and green, often legless.

Smoklofts, half organic, half smoke and flame.

Irlp, feline creatures that have somewhat unstable, flickering forms.

Zuetts, pinecones that have many eyes and tentacles to explore the world with.

Fazlich, fuzzy with disembodied hands and tails.

Sahetlet, almost Human creatures that appear to be a mockery of the Linear People.

Novacress, made of a cold material pulsing with artificial starlight.
