Daryl Dixon- Friends (c)
It had been a couple of weeks since the prison had been destroyed and everyone was separated. You had no idea where anyone was, you didn't even know if they were alive. Well apart from one. Even though everyone had fled, Daryl saved your life, pulling you away from a walker that wanted to attack you.
From then you two had been stuck together having to make sure you both stayed alive and could find everyone else from your group.
Today you two decided to slowly make a lap around the area of the prison to see if you could find any supplies or any people from your group.
Prior to this you had only spoken to Daryl as a general member of the group, but with this you had gotten to know him better. And instantly you had learnt he wasn't much of a conversationalist. It was all very one sided, but you were doing your best to talk with him, even if you could form a better conversation with any of the trees in the forest you were walking through.
"So anyway. I think really we are going to get along really well. I know we didn't talk much before, not that we are talking much now really. But most friendships blossom from a type A and a type B. Although you do seem more of a type A than B but still nevertheless more of maybe an introverted type A. Not that that matters of course. But in a situation like this we have no choice but to be friends."
Daryl showed the most fear on his face that you had ever seen him show. It did confuse you how this grown man could barely bat an eyelid at walkers trying to kill him and everyone around him, but the thought of befriending the ball of energy that was yourself seemed to drain his face of any form of life.
"I don't think we're friends kid. Allies. We are definitely that but I don't have friends," he stated.
"We'll be best friends forever," you grinned, "everyone needs friends Daryl. And you have slim pickings at the moment. I am the only living breathing human for probably a few miles. And anyway, I am so much cooler Rick. He might be able to kill walkers, but I bet he can't do this," you rolled your tongue, "okay he can probably do that seen as the majority of the population can do that. But I don't care. We still have a great capability to be best friends."
The brunette man continued to walk glaring at you out of the corner of his eyes, as you walked with a smile at his side.
"I fucking hope you die first," he muttered.
You weren't quite sure whether he wanted you to hear that though, but either way it was unnecessarily mean.
"What?" You gasped, crossing your arms over your chest.
"Nothing," he grunted, "come on. Enough chit chat we need to find something that is actually help, or I know who I'm sacrificing for food."
You glared at him but though it was best to stay quiet. Nevertheless you would continue to befriend Daryl later when he got over his indirect threats to kill you.
