"We thought AJ would be the one...finally." Clem said as you look down, wiping your tears from your face. Clem places his arm around your waist. "The one what?" Javi asked. You look up at him and said, voice filled with tears. "The one who didn't die." Javi frowns then placed his hands on yours and Clem's shoulder then he goes and gives you a hug.

"Our little goofball..." you muttered as fresh tears falls down your cheeks. You pull away from the hug and Javi goes to give a hug to Clem. "He was the only family we had left...." Clem said as he pulls away from Javi while you turn your back to the men and wrap your arms around yourself.

Clem looks over at you then walks up behind you and wraps his arms around you and holds you close. Both of you stand like this for a moment before you two move away from each other and started walking ahead.

All of you walk up to a large building as Javi said. "This is what David circled on the map." But all of you look over and see some walkers. "Our smelly friends are back..." Tripp pointed out. You pull out your sword and Clem pulls out his knife then the other men pull out their weapons and all five of you run 

You swing your sword and sliced a walkers head off while Javi swings his bat and hits a walker and Clem slices a knee of another walker. You, Clem and Javi make it to the building as Tripp and Jesus slice and chop at a few walkers then they run to the building.

As the two men run in, Javi grabs the gate and starts to shut the gate. But as he shuts the gate more walkers come up and start hitting the gate, showing Javi that the gate door is loose. You, Clem and Tripp lean against the gate as Javi looks out and see a horde of walkers coming.

"If too many of them push against this, it might give. Gotta find a way in." Javi said as he looks at the building. He runs to the door and runs into it but it was locked. "Shit." He mutters. "Look for another way in. It's our only chance." Jesus said just as the gate starts to cave in but Tripp holds it up. "Whoa, man, this thing ain't as strong as we thought. Hurry it up." Tripp shouts.

Javi looks around then saw the roll-up door and lifts it up. "I can--ah, fuck--I can raise it a little, but---something's wrong with it. Jammed or some shit." Javi said as he let's go of the door.
"Maybe we can force it open." You suggested. "We're gonna have to." Javi said then he goes over to the abandoned car which had a floor jack right next to it. Unfortunately, the handle was missing. Javi looks inside the car and saw the handle but there was a walker inside.

"Shit." He mutters as he opens the door with one hand and his bat ready in his other. The walker falls out then starts to crawl towards him until Javi bashed its head in. Then he reaches inside, grabbed the handle then attached it to the jack.

"Javi!" Jesus shouts as Javi takes the jack over to the roll-up door. "It's not holding!" Jesus calls out as Tripp shouts. "Get that door open!" Javi gets the jack under the door and jacks the door open enough for someone to crawl under. "That's it, it won't go any higher! Everyone get in!" Javi shouts as Clem looks at you then gestures his head towards the door.

You give him a concern look then run towards the door then slide and roll under the door, Clem comes up next.
After taking down some walkers, Jesus runs and slides under the opening. "Pardon me." He said as Javi looks over at Tripp, who starts running. "Javi, go!" He shouts and the two men rolls under the door.

"Shut the door!" You said. "Hurry! Get that damn jack out of there!" Tripp shouts and Javi runs then sits down and kicks the jack away, closing the door. "Damn, man. That was too close!" Tripp said, breathless.
"Hopefully that door holds them." Clem said.

Suddenly, there was a loud frantic knock at the door. "Hey! I'm here!" A voice called out and it was a voice Javi recognized. "David!" He shouts as he runs towards the door. You pull out your gun and aim it at Javi. "Don't you dare let that fucking baby killer in!" You threatened then you pulled the trigger and the bullet hits the wall.
"Don't make me do this." You said to Javi.

"(Y/N)..." Tripp said as he slowly approaches you. "Don't do it, Javi." Clem yells as David said. "Hey! Open up!"

"He'll die." Jesus pointed out to you two. "He deserves worse!" You replied, angrily. Javi raised his hands and backs away, leaving you and Clem with a smile. Jesus shakes his head at you two and runs to the door and let's David in. "I thought you were a good man." Jesus said to Javi as he glares at him. 

"We need to barricade the door." Jesus said while You run and knock David down. You pin him to the ground then aim your gun at his head and asked, angrily. "Did you let him turn?!" David looks up at you, a slight fear in his eyes. "Tell us!!" Clem yelled as he comes up and stands next to you. "We didn't have to worry about that." David replied. "What the hell does that mean?!" You asked, angrily. "He lived, guys! He lived." David replied, shocking both you and Clem.

You stand up and start to walk a few feet away and Clem comes up to you then pulls you in an embrace. "But how? He was dying. Clem and (y/n) said so." Javi asked. "AJ bounced back. He was stronger than we thought. It was....a miracle." David said as he stands up. 

"You're lying." You growled as you and Clem glare at David. "That's great! Clem...(y/n), this is good news!" Javi said, trying to cheer you two up. "How are we supposed to believe you?" Clem asked David. "Clement...(y/n), please---I'm telling the truth." David said as he walks up to you two.

"Where? Where is AJ now?" You asked him. "I don't know for sure." David replied. "But he's in Richmond?" Clem asked him. David shakes his head and replied. "Doctor Lingard took care of the boy. He'll know how to find him." You and Clem look at each other, a small smile appears on both of your faces, until you shake your head and turn to David. "Then we're going back." You said, firmly. 

"None of us are going anywhere until the walkers clear." David said and you glare at him again before you walk away, Clem following behind you.
"So...he is alive! And not in Richmond." You said to Clem. "If David's not lying to us, that is." Clem said and you nod. "Don't worry, (y/n). We will get him back. We just need to have a talk with Lingard." Clem said and you look up and smile at Clem.

Suddenly, you two heard noises and Tripp was shouting something that you two couldn't comprehend. Turned out that the walkers started coming in and Tripp and Jesus had to hold the door up until Javi and David pushed a large crate up against the door.

The men sigh with relief until Tripp noticed something. He asked Javi where did he find the crate and Javi showed him just as he saw that there was a large stamp across the crate that said Property of Prescott Airfield. 

"What the hell is all this?" David asked as Jesus found some walkie-talkies.
"These could come in handy. Don't want to just take them, but... " he said. "I might be going crazy, but....I think these came from Prescott." Tripp said and he looks over and saw an arcade. "That's Phantom Punch!" He exclaims as he walks over to it.

"I don't understand how all this got here." David said, astonished. "Like you don't know." Tripp said, in a low tone. "Hey, none of this stuff was here before. I don't have a damn thing to do with it!" David defended while Javi looks over to see you and Clem standing a few feet away from him, your arms across your chests.

"We've only ever kept a few basic supplies here, for scouts. For emergencies." David told Tripp.
"Whoever did this, they have to be stopped!" Javi said, determined. "Damn right they do. As soon  as we find out who." David said, firmly. 

"Who else knew about this place?" Jesus asked, curiously. "You're outfit is the only one that gutted my town." Tripp said to David. "This is bigger than just Prescott." Jesus said as he looks through all the crates. "There's spoils from other towns here, too. Towns I heard got raised a while back...there's stuff here from the Kingdom." He said. Then all of you guys heard a muffled voices.

"Look how many there are already. Damn herd's nearly on us. Hurry the fuck up!"

"You hurry up!"

"Wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't gone all trigger happy on David's family."

"Take cover!" David whispers and all of you crouch down and listen to the voices.

"Fuck 'em. I'd do that little bitch again, just to see her head pop."
"You sure as hell are stupid, ain't you?"

"You only just realizin' that now?"
"I told you. Joan is on the warpath. Last thing we need is people getting wind of all this shit."

David and Javi get closer and see that it was Max, Badger and another man that were talking and carrying these large duffle bags. "Look at all this shit. We're frickin' rollin' in it." Badger said, excitedly. "I'll give you that." Max said. "Just glad we found some more smokes." The third man said. 

"And now we get to see your head pop, you piece of shit!" Javi yells as all of you surround the men. David punches Badger, knocking him down, then kicked his gun away. "David?!" Max exclaimed, shocked. "I thought better of you, Max. I really did." David said as he aims his gun at Max.

"David. Come on, man! We're a unit." Max said as he raised his hands. "There's no need for--" then Max pulls out his gun and begins to fire. All of you duck and take cover. "Stop him! He's getting away!" Jesus said as the two men start to run away. 

Badger starts to stand up and run away. David looks at Javi and said.
"Go! Get Badger!" And Javi chases after Badger. After Javi chases him to an upstairs office, the two men fight among each other, struggling for the shotgun, that Badger found, or start punching and slamming each other against pipes or walls.

Badger grabs Javi and slams him against the window and throws him back in the room. "Ever since the junkyard, you've been nothing but a fly in my ointment." Badger said and he picks up Javi's bat. "If I'd known you were David's brother..." he said then he kicks Javi to the side. "I'd shoved that gas can down your throat and lit you up like a candle! But this will do." Then he starts to slam the bat down towards Javi but Javi moves to the side then kicks Badgers' knee and runs over to the shotgun and shoots Badger in the stomach. 

Badger screams as he falls backwards and slides down against a wall of cabinets. Javi gets up and grabs his bat as Badger growls. "Fuckin' Garcias'. Y-You, you took my damn guts out!"

"This is for Marianna." Javi said, angrily. "She was a sweet girl, just minding her own business." Badger coughs up some blood then glares up at Javi and said. "Not--any more. Fuck her....and fuck you, too."

Tripp runs in and sees the scene before then said to Javi. "Get it over with." Javi raises the bat then swings and hits Badger upside the head.

Badger was dazed for a moment but he recovers and smiles. The anger grows in Javi's chest and he swings and hits Badger in the head a couple of times until the top of his head caved in. "That's enough, man." Tripp said. "He's gone." Javi looks at Tripp but continues to bash Badgers' head in until his brains spilled out, his hand twitching 

"I hope that made you feel better." Tripp said as the two glare at each other until a gunshot rings out. Tripp and Javi run out to see Max and David struggling for the gun until David got the upper hand and flings the gun away from them. 

"He's all yours." David said to Javi as he shoves Max down. Javi picks up the gun and stares at Max.
"Stop....please!" Max begs. "Raiding. Looting! You betrayed who we are! You betrayed Richmond!" David shouts, angrily. "C'mon David....this is Richmond!" Max said. "What's that supposed to mean?" David asked him.
Max looks around at the others until David pulls out his gun and aims it at Max. "What's that supposed to mean?!" He asked again. "There's no use holding out, Max. The best you can do is make things right." Javi said to Max.

"We-we weren't doing it without support inside Richmond. Joan was in on it. We did it on her orders! She-she said we needed it to survive. I wanted to let you in, but she told me you'd never go for it. I'm--I'm sorry." Max confessed. "It is too late for sorry, you backstabbing shitbag." David growls. "Please--don't kill me! I'll help you! I-I'll tell everyone in Richmond about this! I'll help you get back inside." Max said and Javi thinks for a moment.

"Maybe he'll be useful." Javi said to his brother. "Thank you! Thank you!" Max said with relief then David pistol whips him, knocking him out. Javi gives his brother a look and David shrugs. "I needed that." He replied.

The next morning, Javi, David, Tripp and Max run out of the building and close the gate just as you, Jesus and Clem come up to them from the woods. "Where's Lonnie?" David asked you guys. "He gave us the slip. High-tailed it back towards Richmond." Jesus replied. 

"Son of a bitch. If he warns Joan..." David growls as Clem looks over at the others and noticed something.
"Wasn't there one more?" He asked and all of you look towards Javi, who looks down at his bat which was covered in blood. "Oh..." Clem said, realizing the implication. "What? It's good riddance....that son of a bitch killed Marianna." David said.

"Did that make you feel better?" Jesus asked Javi. "You're damn right it did! Bastard deserved everything he got." Javi replied. "Be careful, Javi...act like a beast, you risk what makes you human. Don't become the thing you hate." Jesus warns him. 

"That man shot his niece! Right in front of him!" You said to Jesus. "I would've done the same, Javi."

"Me too." Clem said, nodding. "Sometimes there's just no other way to make things right. Our friend took a crowbar to someone once."

"My people need to know what we found here." Jesus said as he walks away a few feet. "What about your missing friends?" Javi asked him. "I'm surprised you care. Human life isn't exactly high on your list of priorities. Don't have time to keep looking. They'd want me to get home and warn them. So that's what I'm gonna do." Jesus said. "You sure you'll be okay on your own?" Javi asked him.
"To be honest. I think my odds are better than yours. I won't forget about you. You have my word." Jesus said.
"It's a shit storm out there, man. I don't see how you're gonna make it." Tripp said as Jesus starts walking away. "One step at a time." He jokes and he disappears into the woods.

"We need to get back to Richmond fast. I have loved ones in there..." David said. "We both do." Javi said.
"We all do." Clem said and Javi looks at you two, smiling. "I gotta break Eleanor out of there. Once she's safe, I...I'm gonna tell her how I feel." Tripp said as he looks over at Javi. "Hey, if the mess never washes out, might as well get neck deep."

"We're gonna need allies in Richmond. Lingard and Clint--they're our best bet. If I can get to them before Joan does, maybe we have a chance." David said then he turns to Javi. "I know I was ready to say goodbye before, but I can't do this without you. Can I count on you?" He asked. "Of course, David. You're my brother. I never forgot that, even if you did." Javi replied. "I'm glad to hear that, Javi." Daivd said with relief. "You and I--we should talk, when this is done." 

Javi smiles and nods at his brother, who turns to you and the others. "If Lonnie raises the alarm, they'll be waiting for us at the gates. There's a way in round back that'll get us around any sentries. We can take Badger's truck." Daivd said as he points at the large truck behind him. "I doubt he'll mind." Javi said, with snark.

"C'mon, we gotta get on the move. The herds closing in." David said as he gets inside the truck and starts it. You, Javi, Clem and Tripp get into the back of the truck while Max rides the passenger seat and the truck takes off.

You and the men come out of the manhole inside of Richmond. "I'm thinking this'll go a lot better if we split up." David said to the others as all of you crouch down and gather real close. "A group this big can't exactly sneak around. Particularly of they're expecting us...."

"Eleanor's in there somewhere. I'm going after her." Tripp said. "Lingard brought her to the clinic. That's your best bet." David tol him then he turns to Javi. "Javi--that's where you'll go to get Kate and Gabe. Then bring them to my house. It's the one with the raven on the hitching post. We'll all meet up there--after I pay a little visit to Joan..."

"As soon as I can get Kate and Gabe, we'll see you back at the house." Javi said to David. "Roger that." David said, nodding, then he and Max start to leave.

"I'll scout ahead." Tripp said then he walks away. "What about you guys?" Javi asked you and Clem. "We're pretty sure we still got some friends in the New Frontier. If they know where AJ's being held, they'll tell us." Clem replied. "As soon as we find him, we're taking that truck and getting the hell out of here." You said as you hold up the keys to the truck. "Well, you guys are owed a vehicle." Javi said.

Both of you smile until Clem looks down then towards Javi. "Keep an eye on David. He may be playing nice, but I'd still watch your back." He said.
"I'm with you guys. He runs me the wrong way. As soon as I get Kate and Gabe, I'm going to figure out what's best for us." Javi said. "Well, I hope it involves getting far away from here. Family means something different now. You have to make it for yourself." You told him as Clem looks out the alley.  "See you when we see you." Clem said and you two run off into the place you once called home.
