"I miss when all we did was track the herd. From a safe distance." Javi said as all of you gather on the water tower. "We need to get down there. We're not getting anywhere without one of those vehicles." Kate said as she glances over at Javi. "It's not like we can just ask all those walkers to move out of the way." David said, shrugging.

"Let's make make some noise and distract them. We can use that generator." Gabe said as he points at the generator from the other side.
"That's a great idea, Gabe." Javi said.
"When'd you get so smart, Gabe?" David asked him. "You really aren't the same kid I remember. I'm impressed."

"Hey, don't give him too big of a head. He's still got some learning to do." Javi said as Gabe looks down. "Don't listen to him, Gabe. You're doing just fine." David said to Gabe as he gives a slight glare towards Javi. "We still gotta get to that generator somehow." Kate said as she looks out at the view.

"Cut a walker open and cover yourself with its guts. Then you can slip right through them." You said and everyone gives you horrified looks. "That's a great idea. Gross idea, but great." Javi said then he placed his hand over his face. "I could've saved my water bottle!"

"So...who's gonna do it?" Clem asked as you and him look around to the others. "Javi, you've been willing to do some crazy stuff for us before. I know shooting Conrad wasn't easy. But it showed us we can always depend on you." You said as you gesture between you and Clem, who smiles up at Javi. "Of course, guys." Javi said and he goes over to the ladder and starts to climb down.

"Look, it smells really bad, like, way worse than you think." Clem said. Javi sighs then climbs down to the ground. You guys watch him lure a walker and stab it in the head then drag it away. He stabs it and opens its chest then smothers himself with the guts, while trying not to puke 

He slowly walks among the dead until he finally makes it over to the generator. He opens a hatch and pushes the on button then moves away as the walkers start to walk towards it.

"You did it, Javi!" You congratulated as you guys make it to the garage.
"Barely." David grumbles as he walks past you guys. "Now that we're here, let's find something reinforced like you said, David. Something to help us move around. Safely." Javi said.
"We're saving the city before we do anything else. We've gotta find something to seal the breach with. All we need is the right vehicle." Kate said as David walks over to a large truck.

"Uh, that's not gonna do the job, man..." said Javi. "Yes, it is." David said. "What are you doing?" Javi asked. "The right thing." David replied. "I'm leaving. We're all leaving."

"What? And going where? You saw it yourself, we're surrounded by the herd!" Javi exclaims. "I'm taking my family out of here." David said then he looks over at you and Clem. "You two helped keep then safe. You two are coming, too. Let's go! Everyone."

"This is bullshit, David!" Kate said, angrily.

"Absolutely not! Everyone in Richmond will die without us!" Javi shouts. "They don't matter, Javi. Don't you get that?" David asked.

"This all started the day we knocked on Richmond's door. We brought this upon these people. All of us! We can't abandon them! Not after what we've done!" Kate yelled. "We're going home, Kate! Back to the last place we were a family. We're starting over. We're all together again. Finally. It's time." David said.

"I wouldn't mind starting over. Maybe not back home, but....somewhere." Javi said. "It's right out there waiting for us, brother." David said to him as Gabe looks down. "I'll go with you, Dad." Gabe said. "Gabe." You said with a worried tone. "He's my father, (y/n). I'm sorry, but... you really wouldn't understand." Gabe said as he walks over to David.

"Think this over, buddy." Javi said.
"Gabe? Is that what you really want?" Kate asked Gabe. "I know it's scary out there but....I have to." Gabe replied. "You don't have to be afraid, Gabe. I won't let what happened to Marianna happen to you." David said. 

"We always hoped you would come back. I wish you had gotten to know her. Her smile, man....it was like sunshine." Javi told David. "I'm not missing another minute with my family now." said David.

"This is what I want." Gabe said. "I...I understand, Gabe. I'm still going back. I won't be able to live with myself if I don't try to help the people in Richmond." Kate said while David scoffs at this. "You won't be able to live at all if you do that. Richmond is compromised. Doesn't matter if there were five of us trying to save it or five-hundred. We would all die. I know a losing battle when I see one." David said and Kate just rolls her eyes. 

"We're moving out. Everybody get in. That's an order!" David said until Kate comes up and slaps him across the face. "How fucking dare you! What will it take, David? What will it take to show you that you do not get to do that?! We are not your soldiers!" Kate yells, angrily. "Run away home. Be a deserter. I am done with you. I can't believe I ever loved you." She said then she walks over to Javi.

"I can't believe I ever loved either of you." She yells and Javi cringes as he looks over at his older brother. "Javi, what the hell is she talking about?" David asked, suspiciously. "Those were her feelings, David, not mine. I'm innocent." Javi said.

"How much of a fucking idiot do you think I am, Javi?" David asked as he clenches his fist. "I should've known. I should've known the night Pa died. The night you weren't there." He said and starts to walk towards Javi, while Javi backs away from him. The two brothers begin to circle around.

"Blood is worthless to you. Just like he was to you. Just like I am to you. Well, it's time for you to finally learn what blood really means." David said and he punches Javi across the face.
You and Clem gasp while Kate and Gabe scream at David. "What do you have to say for yourself....brother?" David asked Javi. 

"I love you." Javi replied as he gives a sincere look. David's eyes widen at bit then shakes his head. "No...no, you don't get to say that!" David said and he punches Javi in the stomach then in the face. "Stop!" Kate screams as David goes over and grabs a tool out of a toolbox.

"Stop it!" Kate screams at him. 

"David, stop!" Clem shouts while Javi stands up again. "I love you." He yells at David. "No! Stop saying that!" David screams and he hits Javi with the tool, knocking him down. He places his knee on Javi's chest and raised the tool up. 

"Dad, no!" Gabe screams as he runs over to David but as David goes to swing at Javi the tool hits Gabe in the face, making him fall down. "Gabe!" Kate screams while you said. "Oh, my God!"

"You're not taking my family from me." David said while Clem runs over to David. You went over to Gabe to check on him while Kate was screaming at David to stop. "I love you....brother." Javi said as Clem raises his gun and shoots David in the shoulder. David falls over then stands up and stares at Clem. Clem glares at him then shoots again but only to hit the walker behind Daivd. "Holy shit!" Kate shouts as more walkers come.

"Javi!" Kate shouts and all of you run back inside of the garage. But you look back to see only David and Gabe were outside and Daivd was about to shut you, Clem, Javi and Kate inside of the garage. "David?" Javi said, confused, until David shuts the door.

"What the hell is he doing?" Javi asked as him and Clem go to the door and open it, only to see the truck take off. "David took him." You said. "We can't wait any longer. We have to go help Richmond. I'm getting on that bulldozer." Kate said.

"But what about Gabe?" You asked. "Gabe wanted to go! He did! We all heard it!" She said and you nodded.
"I'm going to save Richmond. Someone has to." She said and you see the motorcycle. "I'll use that motorcycle and go after Gabe."  You said to Kate as you point at the motorcycle. "Uh, you're not going by yourself." Clem said and he looks over at Javi. "You should go and help Kate."

"You're right. I can't let Kate be here by herself." Javi said. "Clem and I will go and get Gabe, okay?" You said. "You two be careful out there." Javi said.
"You two. Both of you." Clem said and he jumps on the bike while you get behind Clem and wrap your arms around his waist. Clem starts the engine and the two of you take off while Javi and Kate get into the bulldozer.

"How long do we keep driving? We may not find them. They could be too far ahead of us." You said to Clem. "I don't know. Just hang on to me, (y/n)." He said just as you guys see a run over walker with bloody tire tracks.
"They must've gone this way. Hopefully, the roadkill will lead us right to them." Clem said, pointing at the trail of dead walkers too. He takes off and swerves away from a few walkers until you pull out your sword and swing it at a walker, chopping its head clean off.

"Nice one." Clem said as he follows the tracks.

Finally, you guys make it to the end of the tracks, only to see the truck has crashed and walkers were surrounding it. "Oh God!" You and Clem exclaim as you see some walkers coming up to the truck. Both of you jump off the bike and run over to the truck.

"Help!" You hear Gabe scream. "Gabe, we're here!" Clem shouts. "Clem? Help us!" Gabe shouts as you see a walker climb in the opened driver's window.
You run to that walker as you hear David scream. "They got dad!" Gabe screams as you slice off that walkers head and Clem kicks the knee of the walker coming to Gabe's side of the truck and stabs it in the head. 

"Hey, man. We're here." Clem said as he opens the door and you run over to them. Clem helps Gabe out as he said. "My dad!" Then both of you look inside to see David was bitten. "Oh my God!" You and Clem exclaim as David said. "I tried to fight them off...I'm sorry. Gabe, look away."

"Come on, David." Clem said and you and him help pull David out of the truck. "We got you David." You said as David places his hand over his neck, trying to stop the bleeding and both of you lean him against some barrels.

"Did they get you?" You asked Gabe. "I--I'm fine. It just....it--it hurts. I tried to stop him. That's why we crashed." Gabe cried and you and Clem look over at David.

"I'm sorry, you two. I'm so sorry. For everything I've done." David said as he looks up to you and Clem. "Make sure..." he looks over at Gabe. "...he gets back safe a-and tell...tell Javi..to..watch over...my boy...and to take care of each other. You hear me, Gabe?" he said and Gabe nods, sadly, You and Clem nod as well. David looks back at Gabe. "Te quiero, Gabriel. Te quiero, Marianna." He said before he let's out his last breath and dies. All three of you stand there in shock.

"I'll do it. Before....he turns." Gabe said as both you and Clem give him a concerned look. "You sure? I'll do it if you can't." Clem said to Gabe, who looks down at his father. "I'm sure. He's my father. It's my responsibility." He replied and Clem hands him the gun.

Gabe looks down at the gun for a moment then raises the gun, aims it at David and fires. All three of you look down at David for a moment before you speak up. "We have to go." Clem nods and the two of you start to make your way back to the bike.

"Have either of you had to do something like that?" Gabe asked, looking between you two. Clem stops for a moment then closes his eyes as he remembers that horrible day.
"Once." Clem said as he looks over his shoulder at Gabe. "So...I know how you feel." He said and Gabe nods then the three of you head back to Richmond.

"Javi, look! It's Clem and (y/n)!" Kate said once she sees you, Clem and Gabe. "Gabe!" Javi said as he runs over to you three. "I'm fine. Just banged up." Gabe replied as Javi and Kate look him over. Then you and Clem explained what happened.

"What about David?" Javi asked and you and Clem frown. "David's dead." You said, making Kate and Javi look at you two shocked. "I'm just glad you guys found Gabe in time." Kate said.
"Thank you guys for saving Gabe." Javi said. "I don't know what I'd do if I lost him, too."

"Of course." You and Clem said.
"David was bitten and he was about to turn. So Gabe...had to...stop him..." you told Javi. "Oh God. Gabe, that's horrible." Javi said. "Javi...m-my dad...he..." Gabe stammers. "I know, buddy. He's gone." Javi said. "No, no. He wanted us to tell you...take care of each other." Gabe said.

"Where did you guys find them?" Kate asked. "A little ways outside of town. Not too far." Clem replied. "Can you guys take Gabe somewhere safe?" Kate said. "Yeah...sure..." you and Clem said as Kate said. "C'mon, Javi." And the two adults head out to find David's body so that they could bury it.
