ASH LOST THE KALOS LEAGUE ;_; I'M SO SALTY, I HATE THE WRITERS, TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYS THOUGHT ABOUT THE BATTLE.

The day came where Calem was to sing in front of the entire school.

A few months had passed by, I had gotten to know everyone a lot better. I'm probably the closest to Dawn, she's really kind and always supportive.

So, the whole presentation thing was for the best class, the class rep would represent their class and I was in Serena's thankfully. Me, Dawn, Gary, Calem and Cilan were in Serena's class. Serena had been planning her representation for many months now, she really wants first place.

Serena had no clue that I was back up if Calem let her down, I don't know why she's with Calem if he's always letting her down. Serena knew deep down that Calem wasn't loyal. So, I don't know why she won't finish him. 

"I have to admit I'm kinda nervous" I looked up at Dawn, "Ash, it's only the entire school? You'll be famous one day!" She fist pumped, I smiled at her confidence.

I hugged Dawn, "You're such a good friend, almost like a sister" I pulled away from the hug after a few seconds, "You're like my brother" She put her hand on my shoulder.

I sat back down on the chair and listened to Serena's voice talk about our class and how good our grades were, my grades weren't that great I had C's in every subject. 

"Plus, Calem might show up" Dawn shrugged.

"Yeah, you're right" I smiled at her.

"If I do go up there, make sure to play the audio file I gave you" I put my hand on my right hip.

Dawn pulled out a usb, the one I gave her.

"I listened to it yesterday on my computer, the beat was really good. Did you make it?" She put her hands on her hips.

I nodded my head.

"You're really talented" She winked.

I scratched my nose "Thanks"

"Now here's a performance from one of my fellow class mates!" Serena shouted with an excited tone.

Dawn looked around, "No Calem" She gritted her teeth.

I blinked a few times, "Go, Ash!" She pushed me onto stage.

The audience looked at me and started talking to each other.

Serena looked at me confused, I walked up to her and she passed me the microphone, Serena walked off stage and quickly pulled out her phone, she was ringing Calem...I think she was anyway.

"Hey, everyone so I'm glad to have such an amazing class rep, so I decided that I would sing a s-song" My palms were sweaty.

The lights slowly dimmed.

The audio file that I gave Dawn started to play.

I closed my eyes and let the 'talent' unleash.

"Everybody gets high sometimes ya know........What else can we do when we're feeling low?.....So take a deep breeeeath and let it go.....you shouldn't be drowning on your ooown....And if you feel you're sinking I will jump right over into cold cold water for youuu"

I sang with passion, I opened my eyes and everyone looked like they were enjoying it.

"And although time may take us into different places I will still be patient with youu.....and I hope you know....I WON'T LET GO!" I fist pumped.

The entire audience started to wave.

I danced a little, not over doing it.

"I'll be your life line tonight!" I smiled at the audience.

"I won't let go......I'll be your life line tonight"

The audience started to cheer, "Cause we all get lost sometimes you knooow"

"It's how we learn and how we grow...and I wanna lay with you til I'm old....you shouldn't be fighting on your ooown."

I noticed Serena out of the corner of my eye, she wasn't on the phone. She was staring at me, I could see the pink tint on her cheeks.

"And if you feel you're sinking I will jump right over into cold cold water for yooou, although time make take us into different places I will still be patient with youuu"

"And I hope you knooow"

" I WON'T LET GOOOOOooooOOOO" I gave the last part my all, I could feel the veins sticking out of my neck.

The beat slowly faded away.

The entire room stood up and clapped I blinked a few times from their reactions, they must've really liked it. I felt a smile crawl up my face. I walked off stage happy with my performance, I got tackled by Serena. "Huh?" I was taken back by her actions "T-Thank you so much" She cried with the pink tint on her cheeks.

"All I did was sing?" I scratched my nose, "No, you made me continue being class rep" She wiped the tears away.

"I want to talk to you after you've finished" I smiled at her, "Yeah sure! Anything!" She smiled brightly at me.

"Now go on, go get em!" I fist pumped.

She stood back up and went to walk back on stage, "Wait here" I passed her the microphone, "Thanks" She smiled.

I too stood back up and walked into the back room, everyone was waiting there. They all turned their attention to me, I smiled at them all, "Did you like it?" I scratched my nose.

I had to go home after my performance, my Mom was worried why I wasn't home yet and I didn't want her know about the presentation.

I opened the door and walked into the living room, "Hey, Ash" She walked out holding a box that was wrapped up.

"Sup, Mom" I took my hat off and put it on the coat hanger behind the door.

She held the box out for me, I took it out of her hands and stood there with it in my arms.

"Where do you want me to take it?" I raised one eyebrow.

She laughed at my response, "It's a present for you, silly" She laughed even more.

I blinked a couple of times "A-Are you serious?" I felt a smile crawl up my face.

She nodded, I put the box on the coffee table and unwrapped it.

"A PS4?" I rubbed my eyes to see if my sight was correct.

"You bet, I know you've been wanting one for a while now" She closed her eyes along with a beautiful smile.

"Thanks, Mom!" I tackled her into a hug.

She sniffed up, "You smell of perfume" She pulled out of the hug and looked at me weird.

"I do?" I sniffed myself, damn it smells like Serena's strawberry perfume.

"You have a girlfriend?" She joked, "I have lots of girlfriends!" I fist pumped.

She looked taken back by that. "You do?" She laughed.

"Yeah! We're all great friends" I smiled. My Mom sighed, "You're oblivious as hell" She chuckled.

What does she mean by that?

"Okay" I didn't bother asking what she meant, I picked the PS4 back up and ran upstairs, "Don't stay up too late playing it" She shouted as I ran up the stairs, "I wont" I shouted back down the stairs.

Once I had set everything up it was almost 12pm, it is weekend now so it doesn't matter. I decided to click on the youtube app and watch FaZe, Jev was my favourite FaZe member, he just screams like little girl at his computer screen.

After about 20 minutes I decided to turn my phone on, I had over 100 notifications on facebook. I instantly clicked on face book and clicked on the notification, when it loaded up it was a video of...."M-me?" I clicked on the video and it was me on the stage....the presentation, I was singing a song that I came up with.

It had over 3000 likes and 1000 shares, I scrolled up to look at whoever posted it. Dawn posted it.

"Oh no" I threw my phone at the bottom of my bed, "I'm going to get laughed at" I put my pillow over my face.
