"Today the teenager Ash Ketchum made an appearance in Lumiose City's Mall! The smoking hot male put on a show for the crazy fans." The news reporter said on TV.

I blinked at the TV, then footage of Ash came on the TV. He was dancing around on stage in front of many people. 

The TV Reporter was right, he's smoking hot. He was showing off his abs which made me chuckle. 

I wonder if he's sleeping at his Mom's house? I see Delia from time to time leaving her house.

I should go talk to Ash, if there's any chance of sorting things out I need to see him. So, I turned the TV off and set off to Delia's house. Walking down the street I noticed a few people taking pictures outside of the gates to her house.

If I go anywhere near them gates I'll be in the paper for sure, 'Second for Serena' that would be the title I bet.

Perfect timing enough Ash's Mom came out of the house with security who cleared the gates.

Ash's Mom looked worried, so I walked over to the gates.

"Hey, Delia?" I smiled at her.

A man stood in my path "Madam I'm going to ask you to l-"

"No, she's a friend" Delia cut the Security Guard off.

"Serena, what are you doing here?" She looked confused.

Why am I here? Do I really want to forgive Ash for what he's done to me? 

I stayed silent for a moment.

Ah! I can't hold it against him.

"I'm here to see Ash" I said while looking at the floor.

"Well, he didn't come home last night, so he's probably staying over at his new girlfriend's house" She sighed.

That hit me like a rock.

"N-New Girlfriend?" I stuttered.

She nodded, "Wouldn't surprise me if he did, I doubt he'd stay anywhere else besides a girl's house who he stayed at last night." She rolled her eyes.

I guess she doesn't like the fact that he has a new girlfriend every week.

"Oh...." Is all I could say.

I think she noticed my sorrow.

"Something wrong?" She gave me a concerned look.

I shook my head and turned around, starting to make my way to Calem's house.

Tears started to form in my eyes. Before I knew it. I was running.

From what? I felt hurt so bad, like the time Ash....Ash kissed Korrina.

Once I had reached Calem's house and started to knock loudly on his door. The door unlocked and opened almost instantly and there was Calem standing there in his underwear, I flung myself at him, kissing him. I kicked the door shut and we started to make our way to his bedroom while making out.

"Fuck bro, last night was lit" I laughed to Drew.

Last night we met up with Drew, May stayed at home to study for her upcoming final exams. So, I decided to stay over at Drew's house while Kenny and Dawn went back to Dawn's house.

"Brooo remember that girl? I think her name was Miette? She was all over you but you declined her? How come?" He questioned me.

Because I want Serena.

"I d-don't know, she wasn't all that hot" I laughed.

He gave me a shocked look, "She was hot as fu-" He cut himself off.

"Shit dawg" He finished his sentence

We both started to laugh, he was dating May and he just said that. He would never cheat on May, but if May her him said that, let's say she'd kick his ass soo hard he'd wake up in June.

"Don't worry I won't tell her." I laughed.

He nodded with a smile.

I pulled out my phone and looked at the time. 

"Shit, it's 2pm. I said to my Mom I wouldn't stay out last night." I looked at my phone in fear.

"RIP SKINS, later skater" Drew pointed at the door.

We slept on the living room floor in his house.

I got up and walked out the front door.

"Damn, I feel rough." I felt sick.

I started to walk home, trying my best to keep my balance. 

My phone started to ring so I pulled it out of the pocket in my ripped jeans.

"Alexis?" I instantly answered.

"A-Ash?" A voice that didn't belong to Alexis said.

But, the voice was familiar.

"Rachel?" 

"Y-Yeah, My Mom won't wake up.....*sniffle*"  She was crying but trying to hide it.

Oh fuck, if her Mom isn't waking up?....I know her Mom is sick, but that sick?

"Don't worry I'm on my way!" I put the phone down and started to pace the opposite direction I was heading.

I-I was panicking? 

If there is a God, you'll let her Mom be okay.

Please.

From a distance thick black smoke could be seen. 

"Oh no!" I started to run faster, as I expected the house was on fire, many people stood outside it.

I ran past the all and hoped the fence.

I knocked on the door loduly.

No answer.

"Rachel! Open up!" I shouted.

I knocked again.

No answer.

"Argh!" I got annoyed.

There's only one option, "I'm kicking the door down, Rachel!" 

I stood a few steps back.

"Okay...1...2....3!" I kicked the door and it flew wide open.

I ran inside and started to run around the house. 

The fire was coming from the kitchen, "RACHEL!?" I shouted as loud as I could.

I ran up stairs and into her Mom's room.

Her Mom was lay on the floor next to the bed, pale......D-Dead?

I gulped.

No....

Then Rachel came to mind, "Rachel? Where are-" I coughed cutting myself off, I need to get out of here fast.

"I-I'm here" She crawled out from under the bed.

I grabbed her and hugged her tightly.

Thank you, God.

"Come on! We have to leave!" I grabbed her wrist and started to make my way towards the door.

"No!" She tugged my wrist.

"Look!....Y-Your Mom i-is dead." I looked her in the eyes.

She couldn't tell if her Mom was dead because she was young.

"N-N-No! I don't like Liars!" She removed herself from my grip.

"Now isn't the time! You-We'll both die if you don't come with me!" I panicked, knowing the fire is spreading fast.

She walked over to her Mom and took off the locket around her neck.

She...wasn't showing any emotion, shock.

"Please come with me" I said to her.

She nodded and I picked her up.

"Okay to the stairs!" I ran over to the stairs but the fire was blocking the bottom part, suicidal the stairs were.

"Fuck!" I punched the wall.

C'mon think Ash. THINK!

"The bedroom window!" I went into the bedroom and closed the door behind me.

I put Rachel on the bed, still, she didn't say anything.

I took my shirt off and put it at the very bottom of the door so it would stop the smoke from coming through.

I quickly ran over to the window and opened it. I'm not fitting through that, but she will.

"HEY!" I shouted to one of the people watching the event take place.

"M-me? Oh shit! I-It's Ash K-"

"Yeah it's me! Come and catch her!" I pulled the curtain to the side.

I turned around and looked at the little girl.

If I was to describe her, I'd use the word 'Broken' like me, like I once was.

She's strong, she'll pull through.

I walked over to her and put her hands in my hands.

"Listen to me, Rachel. I'm going to drop you out the window and a man is going to catch you, think you can manage it?" I asked her, either way she had no choice.

She was tense, she had something in her hands. The locket that was around her Mom's neck.

"I love you" She took me by surprise.

I blinked a few times.

"I love you too" I answered. S-She's...It feels like she's my daugther. 

"You've got to be strong for me! I want you to try hard in school, make lots of friends, have lots of kids, live a happy life! If not for me, for your Mom." I smiled at her.

This time she looked up and looked at me in the eyes.

Her blue ocean eyes, like Serena's.

I picked her up and walked over to the window.

"Okay? Re-"

"What about you?" She knew I wouldn't fit through that.

"I'm go-"I started to cough like crazy.

I looked out the window and the man was there with his hands out. He nodded with a serious look.

I dropped her out of the window.

"ASHHH!" She screamed.

The floor below me started to creak.

I blinked, my eyes were starting to water from the fumes.

I looked down and the floor was sinking in.

Was this the end for me? Is this how Ash Ketchum is going to die?

The floor before me started to go in.

In the distance I heard her scream, I heard Rachel scream.

"ASHHHH!" I heard the voice of an angel cried.

"I'll watch over you, and you Serena." I closed my eyes.

CLIFFHANGER! OMG BET YOU WASN'T EXPECTING THAT, AY!? I'm sorry for doing that. Nothing really interesting happened during the book so this will spice things up. You might be thinking "Oh, Ash will survive no doubt!" If you don't know, I'm not the type of person to always have a 'happy ending' >:)
