Jimmy's P.O.V -

As the suns morning rays blow through the windows, I stumble outside. I grasp my arms and shiver. The weather seems to have dropped dramatically since I took this cursed thing. Snow whips around me, blowing into my face. Ugh.

I stray further, resting on the docks. The water seems to have frozen over during the night, it wasn't like that yesterday...

It's fine. It was getting close to winter anyway.

I shut my tired eyes. It's nice to be in peace. Xornoth's gem grows warm in my hand. Heh.

Scott's P.O.V -

I grasp the letter in my hands. I shouldn't leave today. The storm blows fiercely around Rivendell, limiting my vision. I hope he's alright...

I look out my window. Sigh. I should go to Katherine's and see if she has any words of advise.

After a long flight, I arrive in House Blossom. The blizzard hasn't changed here, this isn't normal weather. I glance at a pond nearby. It's frozen over.

I knock on the door and it swings open. "Come in."

I hang my coat along the wall and step inside the castle. Katherine eyes me. "You said that Xornoth couldn't make eternal winter if we defeated him. What's going on?"

"Someone took Xornoth's crystal." I say.

Katherine gasps. "Who would do that!?"

"Jimmy." I feel my eyes filling with tears. "He took it."

"What!?" Katherine reclines in shock. "Why would he do such a thing?!"

I hand her the letter, my hands shaking. "I don't think he took it willingly."

Her eyes widen. "Have you seen him!?"

I nod. "Yep. It's not good."

"Is - is he going to..."

"I think so," I sit down on the floor. It's cold. "We don't have long. I saw him last night. Couldn't even put the cursed thing down."

The letter falls to the floor. "I'm so sorry Scott... We should check on Sausage and Joey."

I nod. "We should. You go to Joey. I'll handle Sausage."

"Okay." She wraps her arms around me. "Be careful Scott."

"I will."
