Chapter 10. 1813
Over the next several weeks, Gregory and Delilah prepared everything for their wedding. The service would be held at the London Chapel and the reception would be held at Lennox Park. The guest list consisted only of Vivian and the Duke and Duchess of Richmond, Julian and Olivia.
On the morning of 7 September, Delilah stood before her mirror, smiling at her reflection. She was wearing a lovely gown of cream silk with off the shoulder sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. Cream silk gloves completed her ensemble, along with a pair of matching cream silk slippers. Her hair was fixed into an elegant side bun with curls along her left shoulder.
Delilah's new lady in waiting, Rena, smiled sweetly. "You look lovely my lady."
Delilah returned her smile. "Thank you Rena."
Rena. "Is there anything else you need before I take my leave?"
Delilah shook her head. "No, I am all right for now. Thank you."
Smiling, Rena turned and left the room.
Delilah took a breath, her heart overflowing with love. Within a few short hours, she would no longer be Delilah Martin, but Lady Delilah Lennox. She would become a Viscountess. Turning on her heel, she stepped out of her bedroom and walked downstairs to the carriage that was waiting for her.

30 minutes later, Gregory and Delilah stood facing each other at the altar of the London Chapel, listening to the minister speak. They exchanged sweet smiles, their fingers intertwined. It felt as if there was no one in the room except them.
The minister turned his attention to Gregory. "Do you, Lord Gregory Arthur Lennox, take this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?"
Gregory smiled brilliantly. "I do."
The minister turned his attention to Delilah. "Do you, Miss Delilah Margaret Martin, take this man to be your lawful wedded husband?"
Delilah beamed radiantly. "I do."
Minister. "Does anyone present here wish to object to the union?"
Julian Olivia and Vivian shook their heads. None of them believed there was any objection to the union of Gregory and Delilah. They agreed it was a perfect match.
Minister. "Then by the power given to me by the Holy Spirit, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
Gregory and Delilah exchanged a deep and passionate kiss, their hearts swirling with love. Finally, they were united as one. There would be no separating them.
Gregory. "I love you."
Delilah. "I love you too."
With another sweet kiss, they turned and escorted the small procession to the carriages that were waiting outside. It was time to celebrate love and everything that it entailed.

Five hours later, Gregory and Delilah made their escape upstairs to their bedroom. After celebrating with their closest friends, it was time for them to retire for the night. However, they wouldn't be sleeping right away.
Delilah's mouth fell to the floor as she saw the magnificent pink roses and candles strategically placed across every inch of the room. She smiled. "It seems Rena and the other servants put this together for us."
Gregory chuckled, closing the door behind them. "I would not be surprised if they did."
Delilah turned and smiled at him, her eyes glowing. "What do you wish to do to me tonight my love?"
Gregory's eyes began to dance with desire. "Oh my dear, I am going to ravish you."
Delilah's eyes twinkled. "I cannot wait to be ravished."
Their lips crashed together for a scorching kiss, their fingers making short work of each other's clothing. They tumbled onto the bed, their limbs becoming intertwined. After several heated moments, they came away, their eyes burning into one another.
Gregory caressed her cheek. "I don't want to rush tonight. I wish to make every moment last as long as possible."
