We arrived at my house. I smiled excitedly as I ran to the door. Mom. She'll make everything better.

Pico grabbed my hand before I could reach the door "we have to be careful. Alright kid?"

"ok" I nodded before slowly opened the door.

I walked inside my house. The fermilier smell calmed me. I could hear a low growl coming from the kitchen.

"mom is that you?" I called out as I walked into the kitchen.

Once I walked in I could see the back of my mom's head. I smiled widely. It's mom! She's ok she's-

Suddenly her head spun around like an owl, revealing a face just like the other monsters.

"mom?"I whimpered as she walked towards me. She was stopped however by picos bullets.

"come on kid we gotta run!" he yelled as he grabbed me ran out of the house. Tears ran down my face as I watched my beloved home get smaller and smaller.

Has everyone I love turn into a monster?
