Nova's POV

I wake up and I feel brand new

As if something within me has change, an uncanny shift in my soul

The winter skies are dark as nights and so is my numb soul

I rise up with Alfred back to his King duties as my crown rests on the wooden table

I bathe in cold water which touches my warm skin, the frozen water is jarring to my body as it touches me and takes my pain away with it

After bathing and fitting into my white silk dress I leave for breakfast after I place my crown on my head, right where it belongs...

As I enter the breakfast table I see Judith, Lagertha mingling in some sort of conversation while Eric plays with his bread and amuses Alfie

Bjorn Ironside is lost in some chain of thoughts as Alfred gets briefed by his comrades

Freydis is nowhere to be seen

"Good morning" I say and Alfred rises with my voice and pulls out a chair for me

"Nova! It is so good to see you back on your feet!" Alfred smiles as I kiss my Alfie 

"Ahh, the Queen is back" Bjorn smiles

I move along and place myself on the other end of the table, opposite to Alfred with the rest of the entourage sitting by our sides

I stare at my plate and draw imaginary circles with my fork on the plate

"So have you thought about our offer?" Lagertha says as everyone stares at me

Waiting for words to dance out of my mouth

Narrator's POV

"Yes" Nova replies as she stares at her plate

"Anddd?" Lagertha raises her shoulders

"I will fight the war against Ivar, not as a Queen but rather as a warrior" She speaks pridefully, "France will support your ambitions, passively"

"What do you mean?" Alfred asks

"It means, Your Men, My Mind" She keeps her cutlery down

"That's absurd! We will never trust a woman to strategize solely for the war, let alone you!" Judith erupts

"I will only marry Alfred, if I get to plan out the whole war" Nova says

"WHO WANTS ALFRED TO MARRY YOU?!" Judith rises

"Alfred does" Nova points her finger towards Alfred

"With me, you will have all the knowledge about Ivar and his men, I am the Ace in your pack of cards" Nova crosses her arm

"I like her" Lagertha says

(Lagertha)

"RIDICULOUS!" Judith bangs her fist

"Alfred?" Nova asks

Alfred sighs and looks at everyone

"What will we gain or lose?" Alfred asks

"If you agree to my offer, you gain me. You will surely win the war if I am on your side. If you don't agree, I will continue my marriage to Ivar. Thereby, he will have a  strategic advantage over you, I will fight with him, against you" Nova says

"DO YOU BELIEVE THIS GODLESS WOMAN?!" Judith howls

"Take your time Alfred" Nova says

Nova rises, "Our greatest weapons are not our swords, but our minds. Remember that" 

"And one more thing, where is Freydis? I wish to speak with her" Nova asks sweetly

"I suppose she is in her chambers" Bjorn replies

"Ah! Well. Thank You" Nova smiles and leaves

Everyone remain speechless with their mouth wide open, with their minds unable to decipher as to what just happened

Nova's POV

I see her in the large bath with her hair and half of her pale face underneath water

"Leave us" I command the servants

I walk towards her as she spots me

"Ah! Queen Nova" She smiles as I smile back

She looks at me seductively as she bites her lips, Now I know why Ivar wanted her

"Freydis, I was worried about you. You didn't come for breakfast?" I ask as I stand by her bath and watch her bathe

"I wasn't hungry enough" She says

"Join me, Queen?" She smiles

I take off my robe and dress but not my crown as I enter the warm bath in the frostbiting winter

Something about the us was magnetic..

"You have a beautiful body" She winks as she moves closer to me 

"Um, thank you" I say as we get lost in each other's eyes

"No wonder Ivar wanted you, you are breathtaking" I say while being lost

"Ivar wanted you more, though he never mentioned about you, at nights he would scream your name, your love haunted him" Freydis says as she keeps her hands on my waist, underwater

"How come you are so beautiful and brave at the same time?" Freydis asks with a sweet voice

"You are making me blush" I reply as she moves closer to me and the blood rushes to my head

"Well Nova, he is a fool to leave you back, if I was yours I would never leave you alone even for a second" She speaks slowly as her face is and inch away from mine

"I wonder how you taste" I say

"Then taste me" Freydis says

We both lock our lips onto each other, as our tongues glides into each other, she holds my waist as I hold her hair while we float in water, lost into each other's world

"Freydis..." I say as I pull back after tasting her cherry lips

"Yes Nova?" She asks as she flutters her eyelashes like a bat

I gently trace her neck and kiss it as she blushes, I hold her face

"mmhhh" she moans

I tighten my grip around her throat immediately and put her face underwater.

"Nova!!" She screams but I don't listen, as I drown her face and body under the lucid water

She kicks, resists and pushes but It doesn't hinder my desire as my hands does not let go of my grip around her throat

I don't need any absolution

After wriggling like a worm she becomes still as the bubbles on the water starts to disappear

I let go of her neck as her body floats onto the water and rise up

A certain look of peace on her face, knowing that she has been sent to her maker

"Guards!" I call out

The guards and servants rush in

"Take her body away" I command

"But How?" A guard asks

"Do as I say, do not question your queen" I command as the guards fish out her body

"And remember, to discard her body away like that of a dead animal, she doesn't deserve a proper burial" I say sternly as the men and maids nod

"Oh Ivar.." I say as I periodically dip my face in water, in and out

"Ivar" I breathe as I look up and close my eyes while the water slides on my skin..

I am coming...

(Oh, shit. Nova is that BITCH ;))
