Narrator's POV

Freydis walks towards Nova and they both look deep in each other's eyes

"It's true. I am Ivar's wife" Freydis says

Nova's face become as pale as a ghost, while tears stream down her eyeballs

"Ivar and I fell in love with each other when he returned from France" Freydis says as she looks around the room "He said he has never met or touched anyone like me" 

"It was magical and beautiful" Freydis blushes as Nova stands there as if lightening has struck her heart

"He was crowned as The King of Kattegat when he defeated Bjorn Ironside and Queen Lagertha" Freydis walks to and fro as she narrates her story, "We were absolutely in love and made a beautiful child" 

Nova mouth falls a little open as her hands shiver

"But our love was also demonic" Freydis's face changes colour, "After I gave birth to our disabled son, Ivar abandoned him in the cold and tried to kill me" Freydis says as she enacts her story

"He is a diabolical person" Freydis says

"Then why did he come back?" Nova asks meekly

"It surely wasn't his love for you but the power this side of the world holds for him" Bjorn interrupts, "After becoming the king of North and an attempt to kill Freydis, he returned to capture France and England" 

"I don't... I cannot believe this" Nova says as she looks around in the room

While tragically falling apart.

Nova's POV

I see her, the most perfect woman I have ever seen. Freydis.

I see her skin, as I know it has been touched by Ivar

I see her lips, knowing they have been kissed by Ivar

Her hair, knowing they have been played by Ivar

And her eyes, that have seen him loving her so beautifully

Everything about her pains me..

Knowing that I cannot stay or stand at the moment , or else I'll die 

I rush out of the room and run till I reach I chamber and shut the door hard 

I break everything that I can touch, the way he broke me...

I tear apart the curtains.. Break the mirror through which I saw him

 As I howl and collapse on the floor weeping

I am broken again, as I am broken always.

I lay on the floor as my teardrops fall on the oakwood floor

My heart numb and hurting at the same time, as I have trouble breathing

*Knock on the door*

"Go away, I don't wish to speak to anyone" I cry

"It's me, open the door" Jezebel says

"No" I say

"Please?" She insists and I open the door as I don't have any energy to retaliate

She storms in and shuts the door and she holds my arm and pulls me up towards her, off from the floor

"I want to die Jezebel" I sob

"Have you lost your mind?!" Jezebel says, "Over a man? If you call him a man at all" She says as she holds me in her arms 

"He promised.." I say

"Oh. They all do..." Jezebel rubs my hair 

"How are you so calm about it?" I say as my eyes and heart burn

'Because I know this betrayal will be your strength, it will be the fuel to your fire" Jezebel says

"I cannot survive this " I cry, "I trusted him and I knew him, I thought he would never hurt me" I say as I cough

"Here, take this" Jezebel hands me a handkerchief, "Wipe your pain and wipe away your past" She says as she walks me towards my bed and I wriggle inside of it

"Cry if you must" Jezebel sits by my side, "But once you crack your heart open, let some light in" She says kindly

I look at her and I close my eyes, hoping that I survive this day while hoping that I die in my sleep..

Ivar's POV

"Tell me O wise man" I say to seer and he groans

"What I should know.." I ask

"Oh it's you Ivar, you little devil" Seer walks and sits by my side.

"Predict something you fool" I say 

"Ahh" Seer says

The bodies she will burn..

Her heart that has been shunted

Will rest when

The hunter gets hunted"
