Naira's POV

I was sleeping peacefully , until my alarm rang , I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my phone to switch off that irritating sound , I noticed there's a message from an unknown number , it said- "Everything is fake, nothing is real, ESCAPE!!". I was wide awake now , I tried calling on that number but it was switched off. I then decided to get ready for the day, I went to take a shower and then get dressed in some shorts and a t-shirt and went downstairs. When I was going downstairs, my foot slipped on one of the stair and I fell, causing me to roll down the last three steps. Somehow I managed to stand and saw that my family members were frowning at me, I took a step back cautiously

" You didn't notice anything abnormal , did you?" My mother asked narrowing her eyes

She was never like this

" No" I said trying to sound normal and then stood up

" Why? What happened?" I asked and grabbed an apple .

" Nothing , just asking" my brother shrugged his shoulders.

Then they all went to their normal, happy faces. I avoided their abnormal behavior and went to sit on the couch.

My elder brother Rishi , he's 20 years old and I'm 18 , he's in  college,  right now he's home during his break irritating me , don't get me wrong , he's a very caring and overprotective brother.

My mind went back to the message , shall I tell them ? Maybe it was just some prank , so I just shrugged it off.

" I'm going to my friend's house" I shouted and ran out of the front door before they can stop me or ask me annoying questions.

I walked down the street to Catherine's house. Catherine was my best friend since kindergarten , we were like sisters , if one falls others was always there to pick her up, and if someone dare to messes with us , well you can say it's their last day on earth. RIP.

" Helloooo" I said as she opened her door

" Hey!!" She squealed

I covered my ears .
