Dead Viper
~Valeria's pov~
I held a metal bat in my hands as I slowly circled the five tied-up men. The glint of determination in my eyes matched the cold metal of the bat.
With my mask hiding my identity and my tight, pretty dress billowing in the wind, I felt a surge of power coursing through me.
"So... did you find the necklace?" I asked, my voice low and menacing. The men remained silent, their eyes wide with fear as they stared back at me.
I tightened my grip on the bat, ready to strike at any moment.
"Why aren't you answering me?" I demanded, my patience wearing thin. The men shifted nervously, but still did not speak.
I took a step closer, the sound of my heels echoing in the empty alleyway.
"I'll ask one last time," I said, my voice growing even colder. "Did you find it?"
The men exchanged fearful glances before one of them finally spoke up, his voice barely above a whisper.
"No," he admitted, his eyes darting around frantically.
I grinned and motioned for James and Killian to pull out their guns. As the cold metal of the weapons gleamed in the dim light, the men's eyes widened in fear.
"Good, that was the answer I was looking for ," I said, a hint of menace in my tone. And with that, I mimicked the sound of a gun, signaling the beginning of the end of their fate.
James and Killian wasted no time, swiftly taking aim and firing at each of the five men in the room. The sound of gunfire echoed through the air as the men dropped to the ground one by one, unable to react in time.
Blood stained the floor as my accomplices carried out their orders with ruthless efficiency.
I watched with satisfaction as our enemies were swiftly eliminated, leaving no room for resistance.
I smirked as I turned to look back at James and Killian , nodding in approval.
"Nice work, gentlemen," I said. "Now, let's dispose of the bodies."
With that, we dragged the lifeless bodies out of the alley and threw them in the car trunk. As we drove away from the scene, I knew that our job was far from over.
There were still loose ends to tie up. But for now, I was content knowing that our enemies had met their end at our hands.
We parked the car outside the abandoned warehouse, the perfect location to dispose of the bodies and any evidence of our recent confrontation.
Exiting the car, we each lifted a body and entered the dark, looming building.
The moonlight barely illuminated the space as we laid the bodies down on the cold concrete floor. As we stepped back, we gazed upon thousands of dead bodies, all piled up in a grotesque display of our violent conquest.
It was chilling yet necessary to ensure our enemies would never rise against us again. We quickly went to work, gathering supplies to clean up the mess and erase any trace of our presence.
It was a gruesome task, but one that needed to be done to protect our own lives.
Once everything was set, I pulled out a camera and placed it on the table with a sigh.
"Ready?" I asked them as they both gathered around, their faces grim and determined. Without hesitation, they nodded, steeling themselves for the task ahead.
As I pressed the record button, I knew that the footage we were about to capture would serve as a grim reminder of the cost of war.
Taking a deep breath, I began to speak into the camera, my mask tightly fastened as a symbol of our preparedness.
"As you must know, I'm the notorious Viper. Leader of the deadliest mercenary group in the region," I stated confidently, my voice steady despite the gravity of the situation. " I have taken many lives without remorse, but I am not here to confess. I am here to say that I quit the life of violence and bloodshed. I have seen too much death and destruction, and I can no longer justify it in the name of money or power. So to all the people who wanted to see me dead , your wish is granted. The Viper is no more." I spoke as I pulled out the gun and put it against my head.
"Oh, one final thing , my body is in this abandoned warehouse on Street 3. Let this be the final chapter of my story."
Closing my eyes, I pulled the trigger, bringing an end to it all. The loud bang echoed through the empty warehouse, marking the end of a dark and tumultuous life.
As the camera fell to the ground , the last image captured was of a lifeless figure crumpled on the cold concrete floor.
The message was clear - the once feared Viper was no more, a cautionary tale of the consequences of chasing after money and power at any cost.
It was a grim ending to a story that had captured the imaginations of many, now forever etched in history with a single, final bang.
Well, that's what they'll think.
Viper might be dead, but not Valeria. Never Valeria...
