Last time on the vigilante trainer, Ares was in a 1 year coma and found out that he has robotic arms and the news about his identity was revealed to the whole public and I'm pretty sure everyone was shocked and surprised about Ares being it vigilante in Alola. Then his family came to see him and Gladion ask Ares about his secret back from the ultra space. Ares showed his scars to his family and his family was shocked in fear and was about to tell his past until the alolan gang arrived and ares told his secret to everyone and lusamine and Mohn were pissed and mad that guzma did to Ares and wanted to kick his ass and after that Ares was out of the hospital with his new arms and unlocked float, gear shift and time of one for all.

3 months later

At the first Alola tournament

Ares was now 17 yrs old at this timeline.

Ares: -write in his notebook- Today was Alolas first tournament and I was exited to be participate in alola's tournament as alola's vigilante hero and all of my friends and my siblings are also participating in the tournament but i don't know if guzma and his crew is also participating in the tournament but If I see him... I'm going to beat the shit out of him no matter what... The first challenge is a free for all aka a battle royal so I have to be careful with my surroundings and not get out.

Lusamine: -knockes on the door-

Ares: -stops writing- oh come in

Lusamine: -comes in- hi ares

Ares: oh hey mom

Lusamine: -sees him on his notebook- what are you writing

Ares: oh it's just notes for today's tournament leauge

Lusamine: I heard guzma and his whole gang will be participating

1 Hours later, Ares was training his pokemon and so as his friends and siblings

Few minutes later... The tournament began

Announcer: Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Alola champion league

The crowd went on cheering

Announcer: alright everyone let's get over the rules for our first one of the tournament a free of all battle royal... When your pokemon is unable to battle you are eliminated from the tournament but the first 16 people to win will be going to a two face to face battle.

Ares and the Alolan gang including Gladion went inside the arena where the battle royal will be

Other people are also heading there as well

In the tournament, there were 100 in total

Are: alright I have to be careful about this -takes out his pokeball and throws it in the air- come on out Umbreon

Umbreon: *-comes out of it's pokeball and sees alot of people and pokemon- holy shit that's alot of people here*

Ares:. Yea it's a battle royal here so there's alot of people here.

Umbreon: *huh makes sense*

Everyone takes out their pokemon

Announcer: Alright Everyone ready... 3...2...1... Let the Battle Royal... BEEEEEGGIIIIIINN.

Ares: Let's go Umbreon

Umbreon: *alright*

They both ran to other people

Ares: use shadow ball on the those 5 pokemon

Umbreon: -uses shadow ball and fires at the 5 pokemon-

Umbreon knocked the Five pokemons out

Random: Oh no/ bisharp no/ damnit/ shit already/ Caterpie.

In total 83 people were eliminated

Gladion was able to knock 25 pokemon out

Announcer: JUST LIKE THAT 24 COMPETITORS ARE ELIMINATED FROM THE TOURNAMENT AND ONLY 58 COMPETITORS LEFT TO GET THAT SPOT.

Ash: Pikachu use Thunderbolt

Pikachu: *TAKE THIS* -uses thunderbolt on the other pokemon-

Random: OH NO/ crap/ what the hell.

Few minutes later

Only 17 competitors are left

Announcer: ONLY ONE MORE SPOT LEFT FOR A FACE TO FACE MATCHUP... WHO WOULD IT BE LETS FIND OUT.

Jessie: Oh crap just one more spot and I'm in... Just need to find a Pokemon that  I can beat -looks around and sees Umbreon alone- bingo... Wobbufett use bide

Wobbufett: -uses bide on Umbreon-

Umbreon doesn't see wobbufett's attack

Ares: -sense something and looks at Umbreon about to be hit- crap he's going to faint... He can't dodge the attack on time but how is he-

A Pokemon attacks wobbufett and wobbufett was knocked out

Umbreon: -looks and sees a silvally

Gladion: you good

Ares: oh yea... Thanks for the save for my Umbreon gladion

Gladion: No problem ares

Jessie: -Shocked that wobbufett was knocked out- WHAAAAT NOOOOOOOO

James: JESSIE

Announcer: JUST LIKE THAT... 16 HAVE EARN THEIR SELVES TO A HEAD TO HEAD MASH UP AND HERE ARE THE COMPETITORS

4. Lana vs Mallow
5. Illima vs Mina
6. Ares vs Jamesio
7. Kiawe vs Sophocles
8. Acerola vs Guzma

Ares: damn... As expected guzma was part of the bracket.

Few minutes

Ash won against Faba
Hau won against Principal oak
Gladion won against Lillie
Lana won against mallow
And illima won against Mina

It was Areses turn to battle next

Announcer: ALRIGHT EVERYONE... WHO IS READY FOR OUR NEXT BATTLE

The Crowd goes wild

Announcer: ALRIGHT NOW PLEASE GIVE IT UP TO OUR NEXT COMPETITORS... ITS ARES VS JAMESIO

Both Ares and James walk to the arena to battle

Ares: -smiles and waves to the people-

Announcer: AND JAMESIO... YEA WE DON'T HAVE INFO FOR HIM DUE TO NOT BEING TURNED IN EARLIER

James: -shocked- Hey what -looks at jessie with a angry face- DAMNIT JESSIE

Jessie: Oops I forgot

James: -sighs- well damn

Announcer: WELL THEN LETS GOT READY TO BATTLE

Hala: COMPETITORS TAKE OUT YOUR POKEMON

Ares: -takes out hisuian Zoroark-

James: -takes out mareanie-

Ares: a mareanie huh... To the looks of it's aura... It's weak so I got this pretty easily.

Hala: BATTLE BEGIN

Ares: use shadow claw

Hisuian Zoroark: -uses shadow claw-

Mareanie gets hit and was easily knocked out in 4 seconds that James couldn't react to hisuian Zoroark's speed

James: -shocked- what the hell just happened... I couldn't see the the attack that fast and it already knocked out my Pokemon in a few seconds... But how.

Hala: -a bit shocked the battle already ended- uuuhhh... MAREANIE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE, THE WINNER GOES TO ZOROARK.

Announcer: WOW TALK ABOUT THE FASTEST BATTLE IN THE LEAGUE THAT JAMESIO COULDN'T REACT TO ITS SPEED AND ATTACK IN UNDER 4 SECONDS

Jessie: 4 seconds

Meowth: your kidding, he didn't even get to attack it's first move with mereanie.

Both Ares and mareanie left the arena.

Both Kiawe and guzma won their round

It was round two

Ash won against hau
Gladion won against Lana

And now its time for Ares to battle illima

Announcer: ALRIGHT EVERYONE ITS TIME FOR THE NEXT BATTLE FOR ROUND TWO.

The crowd went on cheering

Both Ares and illima both enter the arena

If you didn't know... Both illima and ares were childhood friends at the age of 4 and the met at a park

Ares: Umbreon dodge swift and use shadow ball

Umbreon: -dodges the attack and uses shadow ball on eevee-

Illima: now Eevee use swift

Umbreon: -snaps out of it the gets hit-

Illima: Eevee dodge it

Eevee: -tries to dodge it but gets hit-

Ares: Now Use swift

Umbreon -uses swift-

Eevee gets hit and was knocked out

Olivia: EEVEE IS UNABLE TO BATTLE, THAT MEANS THE WINNER GOES TO UMBREON

Fangirls: NOOOOOO/ ILLIMA LOST/ -Crying-

Ares: -sighs- we did it

Umbreon: *We did it*

Ares: yea we did

Illima: you did your best Eevee... I'm proud of you

Eevee: *thank you* -gets returned into his pokeball-

Illima: congratulations ares

Ares: thank you illima, you and Eevee did a good job battling me

Illima: why thank you

Both of them talked and left the arena

Few minutes later

Kiawe lost to guzma and the alolan gang was shocked about it and ares wasnt happy about facing guzma

Ares: well I guess I'm up against him now

Lusamine: so what are you going to do now Ares?

Ares: I don't know... I just don't know

Ares bumps into someone and it was guzma himself

Guzma: Hello there kid

Ares: -looks up and backs up a bit-

Mohn: What do you want

Guzma: I know that this is not what you're expecting but I'm here to make deal

Ares: a deal

Guzma: yes if you win I would leave you alone and stop experimenting you but if I win then we're taking you back and doing experiments on you. So what do you say Ares... Deal

Ares: deal

Lusamine and Mohn: -shocked-

Guzma: alright kid have fun battling against me -leaves-

Lusamine: Ares... You did not just...

Ares: I did so that means have to train even hard to win this battle

Mohn: but if you lose them

Ares: it's ok dad I will try to find a way to escape if I lose...

Even if it's hard to win against him.

Next time on the vigilante trainer, Ares was in the semi finals and his opponent for the semi finals was the leader of team skull guzma but can be able to defeat him and go to the finals. Up next chapter 14 "The Vigilante hero vs the experiment gang leader".
