Zhan's POV.

Yibo had gone to work as usual, meanwhile I was here standing in front of the building I have been curious about since a long time.

'sage Orphange'

It said, a tall building build beside a church, this pace was run by this church that's what I had heard.

Without any further ado, I walked in through the gates, I could see small kids playing on the ground and some orphange workers were watching over them.

A guard approached me soon,"what can we do for you ,sir."

"Um...I want to talk to the director of this orpahage."

"I see...you will have to wait for that, what's the reason though? are you here for adoption?"

Well I can't tell this stranger the truth and nor can I give him any vague unimportant answer so I just went with the flow, "Yeah I am here for that."

The guard nodded and gave me register to fill the enteries, I did what was needed and then waited.

All I could see were the kids playing so happily with each other, unaware of anything else and at the same time I felt sad to because they were orphans well I was too according to Yibo.

My eyes wandered here and there and soon landed on a child around 14 years of age sitting on one of the swings, subconciosulyI looked at ths ground to look for his shadow but I didn't see any, And I knew that this was ghost.

The child looked at my direction and I quickly averted my eyes, My heart was once again beating abnormaly.

When I looked in that direction once again the kids was gone, and I felt relieved, but the moment I turned around I saw him standing right in front of me.

I nearly jumped at my palc,e but I needed to act normal and pretend that I didn't see it.

"You can see me right?" The boy said but I didn't reply, I am not a fool to reply, not at all.

I just stood there, watching around, "I know you can see me, don't ignore me."

Kid just give up and go away please. I mentally begged, but this kid was persistant too.

 "Hey, if you can see me then can you help me find my mom please?" he said with an onnocent face, and a slow voice.

"My mom had left me here and she had prmised to come and get me but she didn't come, I am still waiting for her, kids here don't like me and they always ignore me the elders here ignire me as well, so please help me."

My heart ached for this little child, but what can I do? His innocent and desperate plea for help was clawing my heart and for a moment a hated my self for ignoring him but I can't do anything.

Yibo had told me that not all souls were bad, some souls were just lost, or couldn't understand that they were dead,  some had unfulfil wishes, some just wanted to meet someone before they die, and some were just waiting for their loved one to join them in their after life.

"My name is Noah by the way." He said with a faint smile, "I am fourteen years old. In my family I only love my mother, her name is Jenny, and she loves me a lot as well, but my father would beat me and her a lot.

He also threw me down the stairs once and it hurt a lot, after that Iw as admitted in hospital for two weeks, my father would never allow my mother visit me so I would be there all alone."

My heart ached even more now for the kid, if this kid was a human I would have hugged him.

"To save me my mother had bought me here, and promised me that she would come for me soon, but...I am still waitng for her, it feels lonely here." 

I can't, I couldn't hear anymore, I wanted to leave, and so I did, I walked in other direction, fortunately the guard from earlier told me that I can meet the director now.

He guided my towards the office, I thanked him before knocking on the director's office.

"Come in."

 I opened a door and found a woman on her desk, her name plate said, 'Meng Ziyi'

"Welcome, Have a eat please."

"Thanks."

"So what can I help you."

"Um...I am here to inquire about a person."

"Yes."

"His name Wang Yibo, his parents died some years ago and he was admitted to this orphanage..."

"I see...but Mr..."

"Zhan..." I said and only now I relaize that I don't even know my full name.

Ziyi didn't seem to mind though,"Well Mr. Zhan, we don't disclose the information to a stranger just like this, it's against the rules."

"I know, I get it...and Yibo is not a stranger to me, He is my boyfriend, it's just that recently he had an accident and lost his memory...and he don't remember much about his life, I want to help him to find his home and all..."

I should get a prize for lying so smoothly

"Oh...I see...that must be hard, why don't you bring him here as well."

"Well firstly because he needs rest and secondly because doctor's said that sudden stress and any unpleasant memory can cause harm to his brain... I just wanted to look into his life before telling him...you know I just want him to be safe"

Just give me my oscar, I really feel so proud at myself, especially when I saw that Ziyi had bought my lie.

"Such a caring boyfriend you are...I would be happy to help you..but can I see your Id or any other ID card first?"

Holy shit. 

"Well...I don't have ID with me right now."

"um... I am sorry Mr. Zhan need some ID to confirm your identitiy, without that I can't share any perosnal information with you, I hope you undersantd."

I had no answer for this, she was just doing her job, anmd I can't force her as well.

"I see...I'll leave then..."

"You can come next time with an ID or with your boyfriend next time, I hope he recovers soon."

"Oh yeah." I suddenly said, "One more thing do you perhaps know anything about a child Noah? He used to live in this orphange too and died when he was fourteen."

Ziyi thought for a second before typing on her computer, "Oh yeah, Noah Priestly...died from Dengue."

"Um...is it okay if I ask that did his mother ever came back?"

Ziyi sighed, "I have heard about this kid from the previous director, the previous director liked the kid a lot , she had told me that his mother had already died, a few days after she left Noah here"

My hear became heavy after hearing this, "H..How did she die?"

"Domestic Violence."

I don't need to hear anymore, I just got up from my seat, thanked her and walked out of the office.

Just before walking out of the orphange's gate I came across Noah once again.

"Hey, you are back." he asked with a smile, his innocent childish smile was making tough for me to ignore him.

"What did you talk about?"

I said nothing, I opened my phone to look at the time, when I ehard Noah speak again,"Oh this guy looks familiar"

He said as looked at the wallpaper on my phone which my and Yibo's selfie.

"You know him?" I blurted out, but it was too late when I realized my mistake.

Noah's eyes widened and he smield widely, "You can see me! you can! hurray!" he said and jumped with joy.

While I just cursed myself.

"I knew you can see me."

I sighed now that I am already exposed there is no use in playing dumb, "Yeah I can see you Noah...by the way do you know this man?" I showed him Yibo's photo.

He calmed down and looked at the photo, "Hmmm...let me see..."

I patiently waited for his answer, "Yes I do know him! His name is Yibo right he used to stay in our orphanage, but I never talked to him."

"What else do you know?"

"I don't know much he came here before me, and I never got the chance to talk to him , he would always stay alone in a corner and never speak to anyone, a few days later I got sick but I did heard some rumors about him"

"What rumors?" I asked curiously.

"Rumors he got violent and killed a someone"

My eyes widened, "Who? do you know?"

"Yeah, it was very hot topic back then, he had killed a girl...her name was...A-Xiang"

Author's note: Holy shit!!! did you hear that? oh my god!!!!

This is getting really messed up, Yibo actually killed someone like wut!!!!!

Oh my I am enjoying so much while writing this story that I can't even tell you.
