Soft puffs of air left Jungkook's mouth as his sight became more and more blurry. It wouldn't take long before his body would finally give up on him and more than ever the brunette was ready to let the darkness engulf him completely. The male's whole face was hurting and there was no way Jungkook would be able to save himself from this situation. He was pretty sure he wasn't even able to stand on his own damn feet right now. Johnny surely hadn't hold himself back when he had made his foot collide with the younger's face.

After a short moment footsteps suddenly sounded through the hallway again and Jungkook tried to open his heavy lids again. His heart was beating rapidly in his chest and his breathing had become irregular. His whole body was fighting so hard to stay awake in case more danger would be on it's way however Jungkook himself had already given up. Apart from Taehyung and Johnny no one of the team had any idea what had happened back here and since the both of them had ran off chasing each other the brunette was pretty much left to fix his own problems himself

As if he was even able to do so in this state

Whoever would find the hacker now literally could do anything they wanted with the brunette. Jungkook couldn't even lift his own arms at the moment and he was only seconds away from passing out completely. While he knew damn well he needed to stay awake in case Johnny would come back and actually kill him this time somehow he also didn't feel like fighting against the darkness that was trying to take him completely. At least when his body would finally stop fighting this whole nightmare would finally be over. No more fear, pain, backstabbing or work. The only thing that would be left was a peaceful silence.

The sound of footsteps in the hallway slowly sounded closer and closer to Jungkook and as the brunette slightly opened his eyes to look at who it was he suddenly felt two strong arms wrap themselves around his body before picking him up as if he weighted nothing. "Jungkook wake up." The deep voice of Taehyung suddenly sounded close to the hacker's ear and slowly he began to open his eyes a bit further. Eventhough it took every single drop of energy the hacker had left he was determined to look at the one who thankfully hadn't decided to leave him behind in his eyes. He needed to know for sure if his mind wasn't playing tricks with him.

The first thing Jungkook noticed was that he hadn't been in the same spot as before anymore. Taehyung had clearly picked him up bridal style and was now carrying him somewhere. The second thing the brunette noticed was the worried look on Taehyung's face. The blonde male's eyes were filled with worry and unlike all the other times the two of them had seen each other his face was now showing this exact expression as well. The blonde's face was actually showing an expression on his face, which surely had been a first ever since Jungkook had met the blonde.

"Hold on okay? I'll get you out of here." Taehyung spoke as soon as he saw the other male open his eyes slightly. A determined tone had been lacing his voice and somehow the older's words made Jungkook feel a bit safer. Even though he wasn't actually part of the team as they were paying him to actually do this job he still was glad they hadn't just decided to ditch him. Taehyung had somehow came back for Jungkook and for that the brunette was already thankfull. At least he now wouldn't wake up inside some damn prison cell, if he ever managed to wake up again.

"T-thank you." Jungkook managed to bring out, his voice a soft and weak whisper compared to the normal sound it made. Johnny's violence had taken quite the toll on the unsuspecting hacker and if it hadn't been for Taehyung then Jungkook would have surely been dead already, with Johnny blasting a bullet through his brain. It was only a little over 12 and already the blonde was saving Jungkook's life for the second time today. Maybe Taehyung wasn't as bad as Jungkook had first initiated. The blonde had a mysterious aura surrounding him but he definitely wasn't a bad guy. He had done more than enough for Jungkook to prove that fact.

It didn't take long for the two of them to reach the heavy doors which would lead them back to the front of the bank and Taehyung quickly pushed through them before taking in the mess they had created. The people who had been present during the start of their robbery were still on the ground, looking terrified. Softly the blonde male sighed before he focused on the brunette in his arms. Of course they were terrified. It wasn't everyday that they got threatened to be killed. These people didn't grew up like him after all. Some actually liked looking back at their childhood rather than to just forget any of it ever happened in the first place.

Jungkook's body slowly was starting to lose the fight against the darkness and the male clearly was on the verge of passing out completely. Johnny had really done a great job at making sure the younger wouldn't be able to twist his plans and a worried look once again grew on the older male's face. Blood was slowly seeping out of the hacker's nose and bruises were already starting to form themselves on the male's face. Jungkook needed to get out of here as soon as possible, Taehyung was no doctor but this surely didn't look good.

"What the hell?" Namjoon spoke as soon as he laid his eyes upon the duo that had just entered through the doors that lead to the back, a confused tone lacing his voice. The male immediately made his way over to the blonde male while his eyes were growing as big as saucers. The sight of an unconscious Jungkook being held close to Taehyung's chest couldn't mean anything good. "Where is the target and what the hell happened to him?" the leader of the mission asked, already fearing the answer the younger would give him. He wasn't crazy, Jungkook looked like he had been beaten up pretty bad and Johnny was no where in sight.

That could only mean one thing...

"Johnny. He betrayed us." Taehyung softly spoke, his eyes filled with anger. The moment Taehyung had realized what was in fact happening he had of course made a run after the other. However while Taehyung had been in fact faster than that Johnny was, the male had his whole escape plan planned out perfectly. Before the blonde could come close enough to him they had already been almost at the roof and once the both of them had ran outside Johnny had jumped into a helicopter before taking off. There had literally been nothing Taehyung could do after that but heading back inside and letting the team know what happened.

Namjoon visibly gritted his teeth upon hearing those words and he nodded towards Jungkook's now limp body. "He did this too?" The grey haired male asked, already knowing what the answer to this question was going to be. Taehyung immediately nodded before he looked around. All eyes were on the two of them now and he suddenly felt exactly in how much danger they were. They had to get out of here as soon as possible and find out where that fucker of a betrayer had gone to.

They couldn't let that chip fall into the wrong hands

"We need to go." Taehyung announced and immediately Namjoon nodded before signing to al the other team members to get ready to make a run for it. As soon as Jimin and Yoongi would turn their backs on the staff behind the counter then they would definitely press the emergency button and since the police station was pretty close to the bank there was no time to lose anymore. They had to go right this instant. Jin would be waiting for them with a get away van and once all of them were inside they had to get as far away from this doomed place as possible.

"Let's go." Namjoon spoke in a serious tone and immediately all males reacted by running towards the entrance as fast as they could. "What happened?" Jimin shouted as he ran past Taehyung while eyeing the body the blonde male was holding. Taehyung didn't react, he only gritted his teeth. Ohh how he would love to plant a bullet right between Johnny's eyes. That fucker had gained his trust, only for him to betray Taehyung again. That must have been his plan all along. He was never on their side in the first place. He had betrayed them all and for that the male would pay, Taehyung would make sure of that. If there was one thing the blonde had learned from the environment he had grown up in it was definitely that betrayers had to pay for their actions.

No one would get away with betraying Kim Taehyung this easily

Before everyone knew it they were running through the entrance of the bank before making their way to the busy street right in front of it. Life outside the bank hadn't changed a bit. Even though they had raised quite some hell inside the big building, outside everything seemed quite normal. It almost looked as if the biggest bank in Seoul hadn't just been robbed. Ohh how these people must feel lucky tonight when they'd find out about the robbery that had taken place in the place they had passed this very day and they hadn't been in there.

Taehyung's eyes immediately settled themselves upon a white van. Jin had been waiting for them all this time, ready to take of whenever he needed to. the blonde male began to ran as fast as he could, heavy breaths of air leaving his mouth continuously. Carrying Jungkook wasn't a problem for him. The male wasn't that heavy in the first place. However running with the younger's limp body in his arms was quite a difficult task and it took a lot of Taehyung's energy to not let the other boy accidentally drop on the ground while running towards the van as fast as possible. The boy in his arms already looked broken enough, he didnt need any other wounds to keep him from a fast recovery.

Luckily for Taehyung however Jimin and Namjoon had been faster than him and before he knew it the backdoors of the van flew open while the other two males were ready to take Jungkook from him. The blonde male quickly gathered every last bit of strength he possessed in order to reach the van as quick as possible and he quickly let Namjoon and Jimin take the brunette from him before jumping into the van himself.

"DRIVE!" Namjoon screamed as soon as the last member of their team jumped into the van and Jin immediately pressed his foot down onto the gas pedal before taking off. The whole atmosphere inside the white van was quite stressed and tense and no one knew what to say. Heavy breaths of air kept leaving everyone's mouths due to the running they had been doing and worried looks could be spotted on their faces. This whole mission had gone horribly wrong.

All thanks to that motherfucker of a Johnny

"What the hell happened back there?" Yoongi then spoke up, his eyes focused on Jungkook's unconscious body. Jimin was kneeling down next to the boy while softly slapping his cheek in order to try and wake him up again. However the brunette wasn't responding at all and somehow that made the whole team worry even more. "Johnny betrayed us. He stole the chip from Jungkook and did this to him. After that he ran to the roof and left in a helicopter." Taehyung answered his friend, a bitter tone lacing his voice. The thought of Johnny made the blonde male's blood boil from the inside. Taehyung had seen the other male as his friend and Johnny had taked advantage of that fact and used the trust the blonde had had in him to stab a knife in his back.

Taehyung felt utterly stupid about the fact that he had trusted Johnny out of all people with the important task of protecting Jungkook while he was getting the chip. Johnny had been the newest member to their team and while the others had already worked for Namjoon when Taehyung had reached out to him to get this mission done Johnny had been his own adjustment to the team. The blonde male had known the other ever since they were kids and he thought they were friends. However it seems that Johnny didn't agree with everything the younger was trying to prevent. Taehyung softly closed his eyes while he gripped his golden locks in between his fingers. "FUCK!" the male screamed while realizing how their troubles had only become bigger than before. By now that damn chip should have been destroyed already, not brought to the one person who shouldn't get his hands on it.

Namjoon softly put his hand on Taehyung's shoulder, an apologetic look clearly visible on his face. He too knew how important it was for them to get their hands on the chip and make its content public before destroying it once and forever. The fact that they now had no idea where were the chip had gone to stressed not only Taehyung out but Namjoon as well. "It's not your fault Taehyung, we all trusted him." The grey haired male spoke as he looked around the van. All the male's faces looked dark and disappointed. They all had worked so hard to make today a success and now it had ended up in a disaster.

"We need to get that chip back everyone. By now Seughoon probably knows all about our plan to steal his chip and thus it will be even harder to get our hands on it than ever before. However we cannot let him get away with this." Namjoon spoke, a serious tone lacing his voice and his face showing an equally serious look. "I'm counting on you guys okay? Together we will bring him to his downfall." Namjoon spoke before looking around again. The disappointed looks on everyone's faces had now been replaced by strong and determined looks and a proud feeling slowly began to take over the grey haired male. This team had been working together for almost three years now and their team spirit had always been the one thing that made them stand out the most. They weren't just team members, they were a family, ready to back each other up whenever it was needed. Whatever was bound to happen, this team would get through it together.

"I think we got away safely." Jin then spoke from behind the steering wheel. The oldest of them all had his eyes focused on the road in front of him and watched how multiple police cars were rushing past their van to get to the bank as soon as possible. Not one of them even did as much as look their way and upon noticing that fact Namjoon smiled slightly while a deep breath of air left his mouth. At least not everything had gone completely wrong. He really did not want to have to explain why he out of all people would be caught robbing a fucking bank.

"Let's end this on a positive note then. We don't have the chip but we're not behind bars either." Hoseok then decided to speak up, a small smile playing at the corner of his lips. Taemin immediately nodded at that statement and was quick to grab one of his boyfriend's hands and hold it in his own. "And just because we lost this battle doesn't mean that we lost the war." Taemin spoke, a determined tone lacing his voice. Namjoon looked at the pair with adoration in his eyes and he smiled at them. The couple always managed to stay so positive and that was was the whole team right now needed.

This was far from over

Namjoon wrapped one of his arms around Taehyung's shoulders while nudging his side softly. "Don't give up now. We are still ready to fight, are you?" The grey haired male asked his friend, an encouraging tone lacing his voice. Taehyung slowly looked up and immediately noticed all the stares he was getting. The whole team was waiting for him to tell them what their next step would be, after all that was his job. Namjoon was their leader but he was the brain behind the whole mission. He was the one who had been there from the very beginning.

A soft sigh left the male's mouth before he looked at everyone in the van. Jungkook was still unconscious and Jimin was doing his absolute best at waking the male up. Yoongi was standing next to the pair with a smile on his lips and even though Jin was driving at the moment he too was smiling at everything he heard the others say. Taemin and Hoseok were looking at Taehyung with hopefull looks on their faces and Namjoon was ready to fight now more than ever. "Let's head back to the head quarters and take care of Jungkook. After that we will pay him to track down Johnny' s location and hunt that mother fucker down." Taehyung spoke, determination lacing his voice.

Like Taemin had said, this war wasn't lost yet. While they did lose this battle, there was still hope left. Hope to one day leave all this shit behind and live a normal live. However as long as that damn chip was still in the wrong hands there was no way that was possible. They needed to get their target back, no matter what the cost would be and Taehyung was more than willing to fight for it. He promised himself he wouldn't give up, he couldn't do that to himself or the ones he cared about.

He couldn't lose...

Immediately everyone inside the van except for Jimin and Jungkook began to nod enthusiastically while determined looks could be spotted on their faces. The whole team was ready to follow Taehyung wherever he would lead them. All of them knew exactly what they were fighting for and they wouldn't stop untill they could call their mission a succes. Johnny couldn't win against them all and by betraying the team he had definitely chosen the wrong side of this all.

Taehyung would make sure the brunette would know exactly how big of a mistake he had made.
