Before switching, holding up a blue floral dress...

Laugh...Sigh

"I used to be so good at this" Sarah said in sadness as she lower the dress.
"Don't worry, I'll help" Kate said as she got off the bed.
"Thanks" Sarah replied with gratetue as Kate went to help her sister.

Knock...Knock...

Sarah and Kate turn their heads to see their mom standing in the doorway.
"Hi, sweetheart" Joyce greeted as she came into the room.

"Hi"

Joyce notice what they currently doing, "Are you two going out tonight?" she asked.
"Yeah, we are going to a club" Sarah answered.
"Oh. Will there be boys there?" Joyce questioned.
"No, mom. It's a bun club" Kate answered.

"Well, be careful you two" Joyce tells them as she sat down on the bed.
"We will" Sarah assured her mom.

"You know..."

"I think we can all make it work here. Me and Henry together, I'm gonna get the gallery on its feet..." Joyce trails off.
Then she realise something she forgot to mention, "Oh, uh, we may have found a space today" she brought up.
"That's great mom" Kate tells her with a smile.
"Oh, and that school Matt is at, a very nurturing environment, which is just what you two need" Joyce added.

"Well, actually...Mom...Actually"

"Oh, not too nurturing. I know your ages, I've read all about the dangers of over-nurturing" Joyce said.
"It's hard. New town and everything...It is for me, too. We're trying to make it work, we are going to make it work" Joyce tells her daughter, honestly.
"We know" Kate replied.
"Oh, you are a good girl, Sarah. You just fell in with the wrong crowd. But that is all behind us now" Joyce said to her oldest daughter.
"It is. From now on I am only going to hang out with the living" Sarah said to her mom, not realising what she just said.
"She mean lively. People" Kate corrected as Sarah went back to the wardrobe.
