Reina: *starts humming a funeral song* Here it is... The part that you've been waiting for.

Echo looked you in the eye. "(Y/N)! Run!"

You scrambled back as Echo twirled around and slashed at Lamia with another sword, who dodged it and jumped away. Echo emitted a low growl and twirled both of her swords forward. "Hey! Stay still so that I can stab you!"

"Why would I do that?"

"Because you've broken so many rules, Leora. Karma's come back to bite you in the a** you f****** stupid b****."

"Vulgar."

"I get that a lot," Echo laughed.

Leora looked at her female lackey. "Dia!"

Dia pulled out a bottle and threw it on the floor. More shadow creatures emerged and dashed at Echo.

Without missing a beat, Echo slashed the first two coming her way and stabbed the two after them. One of them grabbed her swords, so she pulled a dagger out and stabbed it in between the eyes.

"You're weaker than Primids!" Echo laughed.

"What's a Primid?" Leora asked.

"I'm not dignifying that with an answer!"

Pretty soon, Echo had decimated the shadows. She looked up at Leora. "You really need a better army."

Leora scowled. Dia dashed at Echo, a dagger in hand. "For Leora!"

Echo sidestepped and blocked, grabbing the female's arm and twisting it behind her back. The female gasped as Echo pushed her to the floor.

"Stay there, p***. You picked the wrong side of this war."

The male ran at Echo. She dodged, and threw her sword in the air so that it spin. Grimacing, the grabbed it and spun.

"AETHER!"

She brought the sword down, slicing his chest open and killing him. His companion shrieked and got up, only to run into Echo's blade. Echo let go of her hand, and the female crumpled to the ground with the sword inside her stomach. Echo walked over to Lamia and helped her get on her feet, pulling another dagger from her belt as she did so.

"Bayonetta would be proud..."

"Who's Bayonetta?" Lamia asked.

Echo growled, clearly not in the mood to explain everything. She turned away to face Leora. "Surrender."

Leora had been looking at her lackeys, who were now dead. She glared at Echo and pulled a sword out. "You'll pay for defying me."

Echo smirked and lunged at Leora, who blocked and moved. Echo tried once more, cutting off part of Leora's hair.

"My hair!" Leora wailed.

"Suck it!" Echo yelled as she struck Leora's sword. As Leora attempted to focus, Echo took her other hand and swiftly disarmed Leora. Leora's sword clattered to the ground, and Echo pointed her sword at Leora's face.

"Has perdido," Echo muttered.

Leora reached her hand into her pocket. She threw a small vial at Echo, causing her to freeze.

"Oh no...." You whisper. "The paralysis potion!"

Leora grabbed her sword and proceeded to stab Echo.

"ECHO!" Lamia shrieked.

Echo crumbled to the ground, grabbing her side. Leora laughed and looked at you. "The three of us reunited.... Which one of the Lyric sisters will fall?"

You blink. "Lyric?"

"Yeah, and I pick-"

Bang!

Leora stopped speaking as something fell past you and Lamia. Blood emerged from Leora's hand and dripped on the ground.

As Leora shrieked in pain, another bang filled the air, and blood emerged from her shoulder, staining her dress.

"Now, (Y/N)!" Echo yelled.

You grab your digger from the floor and run to Leora, who barely managed to look up in time. With a swift motion, you brought the dagger down and stabbed her chest where her heart was.

Blood poured from Leora's mouth, and her eyes widened. Her appearance shifted until she looked like you with lighter hair.

"I... I was supposed to be queen...." She whispered.

"Too bad," Lamia taunted.

You blink, and Lamia's sword connected to Leora's neck. Her head went flying, and her body sank into the floor.

Lamia looked at you and smiled. Walking up, she pulled you into a tight hug and breathed out a sigh of relief.

"It's over.... She's gone," she whispered.

You smile and hug her back. "Yeah, she's gone."

Lamia's grip tightened. "Thank you.... Lucy."

Reina: Meanwhile, Echo is bleeding to death, Leo is still tied up, and everyone is staring.

The next part will be Leora's backstory. After that, it will be the aftermath of the wedding.
