Three months later, Ella is 21 weeks (5 months) pregnant, and is sitting down at a table in the tea parlor. William walks in and kisses her sweetly. They both order earl grey tea with chocolate and raspberry scones, and ham and cheese sandwiches.

William. How have you been doing my love?

Ella. I have been doing well. These twins have been using me as a punching bag non-stop. I don't mind it though, because I know that they are trying to get comfortable in there. It must be pretty cramped in there for them. I hope that the pregnancy test was right about me having a boy and a girl.

William. I'm sure it is. But no matter the gender of the twins, I will still love them regardless. I love you and the twins equally, and all that matters to me, is the health and safety of you and our children.

The conversation is momentarily paused as their scones, sandwiches, and tea is served and placed on the table. Ella picks up a ham and cheese sandwich and takes a bite. She swallows it with the tea and smiles at William, and takes his hand.

Ella. My love, I took another test because I felt something different with the twins when I was 18 weeks along. It appears that I am actually pregnant with two girls and two boys.

William smiles and squeezes her hand gently.

William. Darling, this is wonderful. We are going to have quadruplets. I am so happy to soon be a father to four children. I love you so much.

Ella. I'm glad that you are happy about the news, and that you are so accepting of having both girls and boys.

William. Of course, I love you and the babies so much, and I will do anything to keep my family safe and protected and happy and healthy.

The two of them finish up their lunch and walk along the sidewalk and look at the Christmas decorations and listen to the songs being sung by the carolers.

Ella. The decorations are so beautiful, and the carolers sing so wonderfully. I love Christmas so much. I can't wait for these twins to be born. I also can't wait to open presents later on, when both of our families are together.

William. Neither can I. I want to meet these twins so much, and I what to open presents with you and our families. And, I also have a surprise for you.

Ella. Well, whatever it is, I am sure it will be wonderful.

William. I hope so.

Several hours later, Ella and William return to William's estate, and sit around the tree with their families. Everyone has opened their presents and are enjoying cups of hot chocolate and miniature ham and cheese sandwiches.

William gets up and goes into his room. He grabs an item off of his bedside table and puts it in his pocket. He goes back downstairs and goes over to his family. He helps Ella stand up, and then goes down on one knee. He pulls out a black velvet box and opens it to show a beautiful diamond ring with sapphires around the sides. He looks at her with love and speaks.

William. My dearest Ella. I love you so much, and I cannot believe that we are soon going to be a family of six. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and only you. I will never leave you or our children. I will always love you and the kids, and make sure that you are all safe and happy and healthy. I will do everything in my power to be the best husband and father that I can be. Will you marry me?

Ella smiles with tears of happiness. She shakes her head and gives an exclamation of happiness.

Ella. Yes! Yes, I will marry you!

William places the ring onto Ella's left ring finger, and then stands up and kisses Ella sweetly. Ella returns the kiss just as sweetly, and the two of them sit down with their family, and continue enjoying the Christmas music, hot chocolate, and sandwiches.

William. I guess the vampire king has finally found his bride.

Ella. I suppose he has, and I love him so much.

William. And I love you so much.
