Chapter 24 Before

Fawn POV.

I walk up the few steps to the house and look over my shoulder one more time and smile and wave at Klaus.

Moms not home, lucky me. But I can tell that Caroline is. The lights are on and I know mom has a big deal about the lights being on when no one is home. I open the door and stepped into the house. I quickly shut the door and dashed up the stairs. "Fawn!?"

"Yes Caroline it's me" I yell out. I limp into my room and quickly dash to my bed and sat down. Caroline can not see that I am limping.

My legs are sore, very sore and running up the stairs and jumping onto my bed I think I made it worse, but again very worth it.

My cheeks heat up, why do I feel so hot and bothered again. Damn it!
I need a shower, maybe a cold shower could help and I probably stink.

"Where have you been!?" Caroline bardge into my room. "I had went for a walk to the store and got some stuff and then walked home and then I didn't want to be home alone so I went for another walk. I walked to the store again to get something to snack on and drinks and then I walked back home and now my legs are so sore"

There was only two thing that I had didn't lie about. Yes I did go walk to the store... once and my legs are sore. Just sore in a different kind of way.

Caroline rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest, "Mom is not going to like that you are home at 10:55, 5 minutes away from 11. 5 minutes away"

"Wow you can do both tell time and count. I know I'm late but mom never gave me a bet time. Not yet at least. I will talk to mom when she gets home or tomorrow and see when my bedtime is" I said.

All Carolina did was roll her eyes again and move her stance. "What?"

"Ok whatever talk to mom. I need you gone before 8 tomorrow. Elena and Bonnie are coming over around 7:30 ish or 8. I want you gone before they come" Caroline bithced.

Well Jeremy said that he would pick me up at 8:30. I could just walk my way to his house and meet him before he leaves his place. So if I leave at 7:30 I should be able to get to his house in the time of him leaving his house.

'Snap' 'snap' "Hey" 'snap' "Are you" 'snap' "Listening to me" 'Snap'

I shake my head, "Hmmmm... what... yeah-yeah! I'm listening to you"

"Seems not"

"Yeah I'm listening, you said that you want me out before 8. Your friends might show up at 7:30 or 8. Why are they coming so early in the morning?" I asks.

I move on my spot on the bed and wince in pain. Shit... hmmm... I really need a shower right now.

"We are getting ready for a school dance and that means we have to make ourself look great"

"So you have to get ready all day. When's the dance?"

"At 6"

Ok then.

"Ok... I'll try to get out before your friends come over" I said. "Well try harder then what you are thinking about right now"

"I'm not thinking about anything right now"
