What Lydia's wearing above^^^

Lydia's POV
"The curse must be broken during the full moon. When Klaus is in transition. That's when he'll be at his most vulnerable. A witch with enough power...can kill Klaus." Elijah explains to us.

"What if I told you that I knew a witch that could channel that much power?" Elena says.

"Then I would tell you there's one more thing that you should know." Elijah tells us before going into another story.

"You found a way to save the life of the doppelgänger?" Elena says.

"Yes, Elena. I did. But unfortunately, Katerina took matters into her own hands first. I believe you already know how that played out." Elijah tells us.

"You cared about her, didn't you as more then just a friend or a doppelgänger. You loved her." I say in realisation.

"It's a common mistake, I'm told. And it's one I won't make again." Elijah says handing Elena her jacket before leaving.

Once we get to the boarding house, we all hop out of the car and walk inside the house with Elena inviting Elijah to come in, we start to hear a lot of noise in the library, we walk in and see Damon and Stefan fighting.

"Stop." Elena says, Stefan and Damon both break apart.

"What the hell are you guys doing?" I say looking at them.

"Now you've invited him in." Damon says.

"Elijah and I have renewed the terms of our deal." Elena tells them.

"Actually our deal." I say, making Damon snap his head over to me.

"Really?" He asks starring at me, I nod softly.

"The two of you will come to no harm at my hands. I only ask for one thing in return." Elijah says.

"What?" Damon asks.

"An apology." Elijah says, making me stifle a laugh knowing Damon would never agree to that. Stefan walks closer and looks up at Elijah.

"I'm sorry for the part that I played in your death. I was protecting Elena. I will always protect Elena." Stefan says apologising.

"I understand." Elijah says, before we all look over at Damon.

"The sacrifice is going to happen, Damon. Bonnie will be able to kill Klaus without hurting herself and Elijah knows how to save my life. I told you I'd find another way. And I did." Elena says.

"Is that true?" He asks.

"It is." Elijah says.

"And you trust him?" Damon asks looking at me.

"We do, Damon." I say.

"Then you can all go to hell." Damon says before walking away.

"He's angry with me right now. But he'll come around." Stefan tells Elijah.

"Perhaps." Elijah says. I soon walk out of the library and into Damon's room seeing him on his bed.

"Hey." I say softly.

"What are you doing in here, Lydia?" He asks turning around to face me.

"I wanted to explain to you why I was so upset with you yesterday." I tell him walking closer.

"I know why, I didn't believe you and you were right about everything." Damon says.

"Yes, But there was another reason why I was upset with you." I tell him, Damon stands up and walks towards me standing in front of me.

"What's the other reason?" He asks gently.

"Your my best friend Damon, Your always there for me and when you didn't believe me it hurt but it hurt more knowing it was you that didn't believe me. You always there for me and it didn't feel like anyone was listening to what I have to say. So I lashed out all my hurt at you and blamed you for what happened. I know it wasn't your fault, I'm sorry." I say.

"Don't apologise. It's my fault, Lydia and you were right I wasn't listening to you and I should've." He tells me.

"So friends?" I ask.

"Of course, come here, L." He says pulling me into his warm embrace hugging me tightly.

"I love you, Lydia." He says looking down at me.

"I love you too, D." I say with a smile before I pull away.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"To get changed, Elena dragged me with her and Elijah this morning before I had a chance to change." I say about to leave the room.

"Wait!" Damon says making me pause and turn around to face him.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Can you sleep with me to tonight?" Damon asks.

"Why?" I ask him confused.

"Please, Lydia. I didn't have a good day." He says.

"Ok." I whisper before closing the door behind me and getting under the covers with Damon.

"Your turning off the light." I tell him, making him chuckle and switch the light off. Before I feel the bed dip and Damon's arms around me.

"Why are you holding me like that?" I ask.

"I just missed you." He says.

"Whatever." I say before falling fast asleep.
