The place was dangerously silent. Nothing could be heard only the thoughts clashing with each other inside Kai's head.
He was sitting on the steps, playing with his silver ring on which your name was engraved . Tears streaming down his cheeks but his face was expressionless.
He was perilously quiet.
(Y/N)'s body was buried that night with all the necessary rituals.
There she was sleeping peacefully with Kai's ring on her ring finger.
Everyone was traumatized .
Nobody dared to say a word to Kai. But who knew?
All Kai wanted was someone to console him, to tell him that (Y/N) would come back even if it was a lie. At least he would have that one reason to live .

"Kai? "

Damon said. He sat next to Kai looking at him with teary eyes. But Kai said nothing.

"I know how you feeling. I can understand. (Y/N) was -----"

He choked on his words. After a second when he calmed down he said -

" Kai, you are the most bravest  person I've ever known. We might not get along with each other but I really care for you.... We all do buddy. I know it would be difficult for you.... for us as well.... *sigh * to accept the fact that (Y/N) has gone.

Damon patted on his shoulder.
Kai looked at him and smirked.

" Damon, you saying this because nobody has ever tried to take away the only thing that you love the most. "

Kai shifted his gaze . Damon followed his gaze to Elena. Damon understood what he was trying to tell him. He pursed his lips.

"You don't even realize how I'm feeling right now. " Kai whispered.

Kai patted on his shoulder and got up to leave. He  slowly walked away, mixing into the dark, just like his life.

The walk was silent and lonely. Once again Kai was left alone, all by himself. It was like someone choked life out of him. He walked with a heavy heart thinking how things would have been different.

That's it!!

Kai stood silently in the middle of the road. He couldn't control the pain and agony anymore. He wanted to let it out.

He screamed and lifted a van, only to throw it up in the air.

"(Y/NNNNNNNN)!!!!!!, AGHHHHHHH!!!!!...... COME BACKKK!!! "
He fell on his knees .
"Baby please come back to me ".

Kai was lying on his shared bed which now only belonged to him. There were several calls and texts from Damon and Bonnie but he ignored all of it.
The light was dimly lit. He was staring at the ceiling replaying all the memories that he shared with (Y/N).
He tossed and turned on his bed but nothing could give him peace. He was restless.
That was the night when he finally understood why people fear silence.

He closed his eyes remembering his vow to (Y/N).

Suddenly he sat up.
There was something in his mind that made him smile.

"This is it ".
