Yes,  it was Liv , Kai's sister and one of your good friend.
You couldn't believe that Liv tried to kill you by cloaking herself. She wasn't alone. She came with a whole lot of powerful witches and wizards, and probably that was the reason why Klaus and Elijah went after them.

Damon and Stefan were holding you, secure in their arms, Elena was trying to apply pressure so as to stop your bleeding. Caroline, Bonnie and Kai were standing in a distance with Liv.

"WHY? WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT? "kai shouted.

"Oh Kai stop acting like you don't know anything ". Liv laughed menacingly .

"You're crazy. " Caroline whispered dangerously.

"How dramatic, isn't it Kai?
You wanna know why I stabbed her? 
Well honestly speaking I wanted to kill her the day she met you. I knew she would be your weakness and -..."

"SHE CONSIDERED YOU AS HER BEST FRIEND LIV. "

"SHUT UP KAI ! YOU THINK I'LL LET YOU LIVE PEACEFULLY WHEN YOU KILLED LUKE, HUH? WHEN I BEGGED YOU, YOU ONLY SMILED AND BLEED HIM TO DEATH. YOU KILLED EVERYONE, EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY.
And after all you've done, I won't let you live happily. "

Liv was about to attack Kai when Bonnie used her fingers to produce a piercing sound. Liv couldn't handle that biting sound which made her a wailing mess.

"S-STOPPP ITTTT...... "

"SHE CAN'T BREATH. " Damon shouted.

Somehow Stefan had pushed out the stack from your abdomen, but you were bleeding beyond control .

Kai turned around in panic.

"DAMON I DON'T CARE, I WANT HER ...safe ".  His lips were trembling, words hanging in the air. The last word was spoken softly as if he knew she would, no matter what, she will go away .

"S -she doesn't h-have much time ",Elena whispered with tears pooling her eyes.

You were breathing heavily. There was no way in heaven that you could be saved .

"No no no NOO (Y/N) you can't die!!  DO YOU HEAR ME? YOU- CAN'T - DIE. "Stefan cried.

You felt weak, numb and exhausted, unable to understand what was happening around you.

"Aghhhhhh ...." Liv shouted.
Caroline twisted her arm.

"This is for hurting my best friend ." Caroline whispered.

She again twisted her arm.

"Aghh --aghhhh ...." Liv cried.

"And this is for betraying us... Betraying (Y/N)."

Liv fell on the floor with a loud thud. She could see Kai approaching her with a stake in his hand . She peered at Kai, tears in her eyes but still smiling .

"I'll send you where your beloved brother is.... " Kai said  with gritted teeth.

" Huh, m-my  p -purpose here is done .... " she winked at Kai..

And before she could say anything, Kai stabbed her straight into her heart.

He fell on the floor, unable to control his tears .

"Why ?"

You were too fragile from the loss of blood. Your eyes were all red and swollen due to sobbing. Small beads of sweat collected on your forehead and neck .
Your beautiful white dress was now soaked with your blood. You were whining and moaning due to pain.

"K-kai.... " you whimpered, tears rolling down your cheeks.
