"OK,  so I called your psychopath but he's not answering. "

"Damon!  He's not a psychopath. "

You snarled at Damon. You were trying to call Kai for five hours and he had the audacity not to return your calls , let alone Damon.

"Y/N ,for  God sake, for the millionth time please stop being so concerned about him. No matter how much you love him or have feelings for him, he won't return it back."
Damon face palms in frustration.

" Damon, you think a lot. I mean Kai has changed. We did spend some time together and to be really honest, I really feel that strong connection with him..."

"He doesn't. "

You rolled your eyes.

You dialed his number for the last time. You were about to hang up when someone said hello from the other side.

" Kai? "

Damon looked surprised, his head snapping up.

" Kai what the hec-... "

"Hey Y/N ,ugh... Can I call you back later? I'm actually busy... "

" Busy with what? " you instantly asked , annoyed.

"Ughh... With Bonnie... "
And with that he hung up, leaving you all confused.

You were standing there, with your mouth wide open, your phone still in your hand.

Damon rolled his eyes and pushed himself out/up of the chair and closed your mouth with his fingers.

" Maybe I should call Bon... "

"DAMON,  WE NEED TO GO! "

" HELL NO, SHUT UP Y/N."
Damon knitted his brows in annoyance.

" Damon please I beg you, pleaseee". You insisted.

Damon grunted annoyingly but agreed .

"So, do you have any clue where are we heading ?"
You asked looking to your right side ,in case you see Kai.

" Mystic Grills. " he said, looking straight on the road .

You turned your head in his direction and asked ,
" and what makes you so sure that he will be there? "

" Firstly - they.
Secondly - I am a million years old vampire, who can sense where people are. Now will you please keep your mouth shut. "
Damon smiled and winked.

You rolled your eyes.

You both quickly reached Mystic Grills in half an hour.

You jumped out of the car, running towards the door.

"Easy, curious pants." Damon vamp-speed in front of you.

" Damon move! " you shouted, panting heavily.

He looked at you with an amused expression and chuckled.

" God, will you control yourself for a second? "

" NO! "you said instantly.

"No? "he mimicked your words.

You glared at him with anger in your eyes, hating him for irritating you at this moment.

"  All right, go. Just having fun. "
Damon said.

You quickly ran inside Mystic Grills and searched for Kai and Bonnie.

Your eyes scanned for both of them and within seconds you found Kai, sitting on a table, his back facing you.
You quickly walked in his direction while Damon followed you.

" HOW COULD YOU? "
you banged your hands on the flat surface of the wooden table.

Kai looked at you with a shocked expression, nearly getting a heart attack with the sudden loud thud.

" Geez y/n wha-...  "

" I thought you loved me ". Tears rolling down your cheeks.

" Y/N , why are you crying? I do love yo-..." Kai stood up, not understanding what was happening. He reached for you but you snapped.

" I thought we both shared the same feelings,  but you... "

Kai looked at Damon for some sort of  explanation but he looked away, enjoying his bourbon that he certainly didn't ask anybody out of politeness.

You wiped your tears with your sleeves.

"Where is she? "

" who? " Kai asked in a low voice, now looking at you.

" BONNIE... as in Bonnie Bennet, the witch and your soon  to be your girlfriend. "  you shouted.

Kai looked at you for a while, not to know what to make out of you, examining you, anticipating whether or not to clear the misunderstanding that you had. He opened his mouth to say something when you heard a low, soft sound ,coming from down side .
You looked down while Damon shifted his gaze to see what was happening.

You saw a small little white cat, purring itself on Kai's leg.

Kai bent down to pick the cat up.

" Isn't she gorgeous? " Kai said with a childish grin on his face.

"you know, I bought her from a nearby cat store and God... She is so beautiful... "

Damon looked at Kai in disbelief.

" I actually feel sorry for that cat. " he pointed towards the cat.

Kai was oblivious to everything around him, happy with his new pet. His 18 years of isolation from human world makes him so crave for such animals that you somehow couldn't believe that he's the same man who killed half of the population .

" My cute little Bonnie ."  he nudged his face into her neck.

" WHAT!" You shouted, still couldn't believe what you heard.

" What? "Kai asked, innocently.

" You named that cat after Bonnie's name ?" Damon asked shockingly .

"Yes, why? "

You and Damon were standing, dumbfounded. Damon took a sip of his bourbon and slowly retreated back when you heard him saying annoyingly,

" I'm surrounded by idiots. "

While you stood there, staring at Kai , playing with his cat and at the same time , you felt like a total idiot.

I'm sorry for if you didn't like this imagine but I tried my best to make it funny  somehow. I wanted to write a funny imagine, but I guess I failed miserably. 😅
Anyways, I'll write something good next time, I promise. 😇
