On the same night, Raphael woke up in the cell and started observing the room. He soon spotted MG standing there, noticing him as he awoke. As Raphael stood up, he prepared to confront him.

Raphael: Where's Hope? I need to talk to her privately. It's not about bad things; it's not about cruel things.

MG: Relax. Stay in your position before leaving the cell in the morning.

Raphael: What time is it?

MG: It's past midnight.

Raphael: So that means you are gonna stick around here and wait for me to get the hell out of there?

MG: *hearing*

Raphael: Yeah, I thought so. *sits down*

MG: Do you know why you almost threatened right in front of Hope?

Raphael: I wasn't threatening her; what are you talking about?

MG: I'm just curious.

Raphael: Just? You were on the same team to get me a punishment.

MG: You haven't stabbed her back yet. 

Raphael: *hearing*

MG: You've been facing challenges. To maintain your well-being, you must push yourself to the limit and respond assertively. I felt inadequate during my first decade here.

Raphael: What if I'm wrong? What's gonna happen?

MG: This will be your biggest mistake; you won't elevate it to the next level. Someone is going to hurt you severely before that happens.

Raphael: *looks at him*

MG: *looks at him*

The next day, Alaric went to the police station after discovering Rafael had been arrested. He bailed him out, and they walked out of the building together to return to the boarding school.

Rafael: It was my fault; I had to get some medicine for my friend.

Alaric: That's alright. You do not have to worry about it; I have already handled it.

Rafael: *hearing*

Hope: *wakes up slowly while hearing quietly from outside and looks around until she sees Hayley as a ghost*

Hayley: *puts one finger on the lip*

Hope: *gets up* I got it when you betrayed me in a good way; I liked it. I should've trusted you, honestly.

Hayley: It's just like my situation; I have been struggling immensely ever since my biological parents passed away, not just because of a breakup.

Hope: What are you talking about?

Hayley: It's a long story. You have to come and find your mom in Maple Hollows.

Hope: *hearing*

Hayley: That's the case; your family was still miserable around here when it came alive.

Hope: I see a real you; I haven't seen my dad yet. I shouldn't take my family away from me as much as they do.

Hayley: Your journey is only beginning. *faded out*

Hope: *looks around and thinking her brain*

Elijah and Rebekah spend time in Wickery Bridge because Hayley and Klaus are mentioned as alive. They wonder if the brain has noticed them. They know how to find them, or it could become dangerous. Except for Hope, Hayley is turning into a ghost and changing her attitude differently as a ghost; she gives Hope the task of looking after her and Klaus.

Elijah: What should we do next?

Rebekah: As long as we could find them? I don't know where they are. They must have disappeared.

Elijah: Rebekah, think about something. There's gotta be out here anywhere but here. Do you believe that Niklaus and Hayley are turning into a devil now?

Rebekah: Maybe. Both of them died a long time ago.

Elijah: It does. Somebody else is giving them a spirit.

Rebekah: *hearing*

Elijah: I wish I could reunite them.

Rebekah: Me too. *hearing phone call and answers* Hello?

Hope: Rebekah, I need your help.

Rebekah: Do you know where your mom is?

Hope: She's gonna be in Maple Hollows. Are you with me on this one?

Rebekah: I'm always counting on you.

Hope: Pick me up in the morning.

Caroline sent Raphael, Andy, and Matthew to Mystic Falls High School the next day. They entered the building with Josie and Lizzie, while Hope went to Maple Hollows to look for her parents alongside Rebekah and Elijah. The three boys searched in the first class until they parted ways. As Matthew walked by the locker, he tried to open the door, but it was stuck. Then, Ethan came over to help him open it.

Matthew: Wish me luck.

Ethan: Mine also gets stuck when I go to this school for the first day.

Matthew: Oh shit.

Ethan: What?

Matthew: It's about your locker.

Ethan: *opens the locker while pulling the door*

Matthew: Thank you.

Ethan: Got any name?

Matthew: Matthew.

Ethan: What's up, man? I'm Ethan. Have you done a tryout to play football flag?

Matthew: I used to. I always play quarterback.

Ethan: Simple as that. I'll show you when you try out after school.

Matthew: I think I'm good.

Ethan: Come on, bro. You don't want to be here in school whenever you are poor.

Matthew: OK, fine. Look, do you know where Mr. Fitzgerald's class is?

As Andy walks through the hallway searching for his first class, he passes by other students and notices Jessica. He feels a slight crush as she catches his gaze and gives him a look.

He continued walking and searching until he found it. When he looked at a group of boys doing drugs, he felt like this was a typical high school, and he went into the class.

As Raphael steps into Ms. Tig's class, he notices a group of students causing a ruckus while they wait for the bell to ring. He wonders if he will find a seat before Rafael spots him.

Rafael: Come take a seat right behind me. There's plenty of room to be safe.

Raphael: *sits down at the desk*

Rafael: It's been rough before the beginning.

Raphael: I know.

Rafael: I needed to learn more effectively.

Raphael: Same.

Later this afternoon, as Josie removed her things from the locker, Andy approached to hide while waiting for her to close the door. She shut it and was startled to see him.

Josie: Jesus! Andy, really?

Andy: That was a test.

Josie: Ain't nothing about the damn test. 

Andy: It doesn't work that way.

Josie: You don't learn anything in boarding school yet because you're new.

Andy: *hearing*

Josie: It's part to give you a reason to also be nice to people and help others.

Andy: I didn't blame all of this. 

Josie: I'm just stuck in my brain right now.

Andy: I'll leave you alone. *tried to walk away*

Josie: Stay with me.

Andy: *looks at her*

Josie: Close your eyes and breathe.

Andy: OK...what's next? *closed his eyes*

Josie: *holds his shoulders while closing her eyes and doing the power*

Andy and Josie: *opened their eyes together*

Josie: Are you OK with that? You weren't in a bad mood at all.

Andy: What mission will I pursue after school? Will I attend boarding school to get a good education?

Josie: A good education will be a perfect fit in your life.

Andy: Do you think you would be training me?

Josie: I will be honored.

Andy: Your strength is evident. Honestly, you are a clever girl.

Josie: Listen, the next class is in the session. You should get going, and don't mess it up! *runs away*

Meanwhile, Raphael and Rafael were in the same class in Emma Tig's classroom when they heard the bell ring, signaling a break before the next class. Lorenzo stood outside the high school, looking through the window at Emma. She confronted someone while Lorenzo listened to her talk about the similarities between Raphael and Rafael, noting how the sounds matched despite the different spellings. He walked away and headed back in the car because he had been trying to find Emma, but he couldn't.

*Maple Hollows, South Carolina*

Hope, Rebekah, and Elijah have been searching for Hayley and Klaus all day as they moved around town. After what her mom had said about being out here, Hope considered lying.

Rebekah: Hope, I don't think they aren't here.

Hope: What else could they be at? They know where I am, except for you two.

Elijah: We've just dropped out, and then, you'll gonna look for them. You're right.

Hope: *hearing*

Elijah: I'll take you back home.

As Hayley and Klaus sit in the car, they spy on the other vehicle before Hayley begins driving to follow it.
