"Arihmatheo!" The sound of the cane fills my ear before the familiar voice of the high lord George Holmes. I watch him approach with his professor Holmes from the corner of my eyes. "That is no way to treat my granddaughter," he says like he actually cares but I know better.

His granddaughter?

"Sarcasm doesn't suit you high lord," I scoff and straighten my back to get somehow comfortable against the wall. "I have a question though," I say while keeping my eyes on my Arihmatheo, he's standing with three of his men behind George, recognizing the men from when they came to The Vale.

The sound of the leather glove moving against the cane turns my attention back to him. "You know you don't have to ask, granddaughter."

What's up with the granddaughter business?

"Don't call me granddaughter and I have more than one question." The last time that I was in this similar position, I asked him some questions that I didn't expect him to answer and he did truthfully.

"I admit that calling you granddaughter is born of hypocrisy because I don't see you as one. You don't want me to call you granddaughter, then I won't." He continues. "You want to ask me something, well go ahead I don't have all day."

Hmm... Wow, I didn't know George is so honest.

I purse my lips as I try to compose the question in my head. The questions I want to ask is obvious that I already the answers to, I just want him to admit it. "Why? Why do you hate my father so much? Why did you keep me away from my parents? You ruined my life. You've controlled every single part of it all because you hate my father. I want to know why."

He keeps his eyes on me for a while, studying me. "You remind me of my daughter, Sabine. She was the only thing pure and good in my life. When I ascended the throne and became High Lord people looked up to me, not because I'm a good person or good leader. They fear me and I love how people quiver at the sound of my name. I'm not a good person and I've never claimed otherwise but Sabine, she was the only person in my life I never tainted." He takes steps forward and adds. "You see, when your mother was born I was happy, I've never felt so much joy and the first day she used magic and we realized she was Scorpio, I became even more proud."

I watch professor Holmes reaction as his father says good things about his sister like he doesn't even exist. He clenches his jaw and tighten his fist. I know his father's words are getting to him.

"She was my little girl. She did everything I asked until she bumped into Eric. Your father is a demon and I know he did something to my daughter. Eric is a Dihipian. Not everyone knows much about your home realm but I know about your grandmother, destroyer of worlds they call her. She wields the sword of death and you expected me to allow my daughter to live happily ever after with the spawn of the devil. No."

He walks forward and stops in front of me, his eyes is full of hate and disdain. He brings his hand up to my cheek and asks, "do you know who I hate more than your father, Camille?" I don't answer, making him tighten his grip on my jaw. "Answer me when I talk to you, girl! Do you know who I hate more than your father?" He demands and I shake my head. "You. I hate your father with all my will but what I feel for you is deeper than that. Your father took my little girl from and you took what's left of her sanity. You should never have been born. You are an abomination. I should have sacrificed you to the gods when I had the chance." He releases my jaw, pushing my head back in the process.

"You could have killed me anytime you wanted. You've always knew where I was. You had every chance to do so, why didn't you?"

"Because I knew Arihmatheo has a soft spot for you and I know he wouldn't cooperation if you're dead," he smirks, before turning to look at Arihmatheo, "isn't that right, Marco?"

I blink. What the hell is going on? Arihmatheo as in the same Arihmatheo that has tried to kill me so many has soft spot for me. I'm so confused.

"I was too." George answers.

Did I say that out loud?

"You're right about me knowing where you are but someone convinced me to let you live. He said we should wait and see if you had any of your ancestors powers. So I waited and waited nothing happened. I sent him to kill you ages ago but Marco didn't do it. He couldn't. Instead he told you about your parents, you might still be in the dark if he wasn't for him. I–"

Arihmatheo moves his hand, the one gripping his knife to slit George's throat but he was too slow as George swipes his neck and push him back with his palm flat on his chest. My eyes goes wide when I see Arihmatheo's hand wrapped around his neck, blood spilling out. My lips part as he falls lifelessly on the ground.

George slams his cane on the ground and faces me with a slight smirk playing on his lips. "Good riddance. He was due. The soul collector was going to get him anyway."

My eyes falls on Arihmatheo's dead body, staring at him in disbelief. He was just standing there. "You... You killed him." My words come out as a whisper.

Arihmatheo is a jerk. He's tried to kill me more times than I can count but why do I feel sorry for him? Apart from the fact that I just watch him die. George said I should have been dead a long time ago if not for Arihmatheo. What does he mean by that?

"Yes and you are next if you don't shut up." He threatens. "Sixteen years I've been waiting for this moment, and now that it's finally happening I don't know what to do first–" I interrupt him.

"How about telling me where my parents are and getting me out of these chains." I raise my hand showing him the power damping cuffs.

The people that put me on these chains took off my jacket and the camisole I have on is hardly strong enough to keep my back from bruising.

He smirks. "You are smart, I'll give you that. You were able to locate where your parents are, you even went, but your parents aren't here."

"You liar! Where are they?" I demand. "I know they are here somewhere. Where are they?" I jerk my hand forward. I don't even care about getting hurt again, they've done enough.

"No need to use that tone on me, Missy. Your parents are in the darkness I put them in. You've never met them. You hardly know them, just the fact that they're your parents doesn't mean you're strong enough to pull them from the eternal torment I unleashed on them."

I need to get out of these chains, I need to do something fast. He's messing with my head.

Like he can hear my thoughts, George takes a step back and raises his cane before hitting it on the ground twice. The room changes as darkness fills the place before revealing five figures in dark smoky cloak. I thought the headmaster banished them away.

"We meet again, Camille Raven Stark." They say at the same time, taking their place behind George.

"Go ahead, Camille. I'd like to see you try and break out of those chains without killing yourself, I really am." He tells me.

I hear his words from our previous meeting. You're weak, pathetic.

"You're not weak, Camille. You're strong. I've seen you put yourself out there. You ran into an abandoned building to save your friend without knowing the danger that was waiting for you inside. You faced the sisters of the dark empty handed because your friends are in trouble. You didn't quit on the search for your parents even after you got impaled by an iron rod. You kept going to class after knowing your chemistry teacher was planning your demise. You are not pathetic. You are strong. You are one of the strongest person I know. You showed me that on the island." Damian's voice rings in my head.

I raise my head and look forward to where they have him. He's already looking at me. "You know who you are Camille. You know who you really are. Now, answer me, who are you? What are you?" He asks telepathically.

"I'm Camille." I answer the same way he asked.

"I know who you are. You know who you are. Tell them who you really are. Show them what you are."

He raises his eyebrows and I nod.

"My name is Camille Raven Stark," I begin in a low tone but it's enough to get George's attention. "Daughter of Sabine Stark and Ulrik, El-Noh-El Di Hipsodat." I try to move but the damn chains are keeping me prisoner. "I am the granddaughter of the El-Laura-El, El Di Hipsodat. I am El-Sah-El!" Saying who I am out loud, introducing myself to the world give me some kind of relief, and strange energy and powers that washes through me. I know there's no stopping me now as I push myself forward and break out the chains. Falling forward due to exhaustion. I don't miss the shock look on George and Sebastian's face. I can't see the sisters’ faces.

"You broke yourself out. Good job. I'm impressed. What's next?" George rolls his eyes and scoffs, I did not miss the sarcasm in his tone.

One of things I've learned about Jessica's powers is when she's lost there's always this spell that can bring her back and luckily I remember it from the time I used it.

"Zuu malay ick jah zor Jessica Cruz-William eerf!" I scream at Jessica to snap out of her ghost self, I need all the help I can get because there is no way I am getting out of here alive.

George laughs. "Trying to beg the sage out of her ghost self. See, here is the thing about sages, they go on the ghost journey because they are too much of a coward to fight so they hibernate themselves, too bad your friends are with her," he smirks.

I close my eyes and try to communicate with Jessica. "I need you, Jessica. If you can hear me please return to me." I mentally send to her. "Zuu malay ick jah zor Jessica Cruz-William eerf!"

Fuck! Jessica come on, I can't do this alone.

I don't want to do this but I have to.

I take a deep breath and relax myself. "Lurytendra Azar Bycom." Immediately as I call to El-Laura-El, I feel the markings on my body appear without burning my skin this time. I can feel them carving on my skin, shattering the collar and cuffs that's didn't break when I broke out of the chains.

I open my eyes and notice them glowing, seeing George's eye wide out. "The markings of the El gods, impossible." George spits out.

I don't know what he means by that but the fear in his tone makes me smirk and push myself on one knee before standing up. I tuck my hair behind my ear and respond. "You have no idea what's possible." Unlike before when I use my powers with circumstances, I can now thanks to Damian and his teaching.

Spreading my arms out, I stare ahead to conjure the spirit of ravens, channeling my soul self and the powers from Di Hipsodat. Not sure how I'm able do this consciously but I take my chances anyway.

The door shatters as the ravens make their way in, flying around the room but not hurting anyone. I feel them. I feel the powers running through my body and veins.

"Ata tun sey rum," I whisper and direct my hands to George and Sebastian, somehow the sisters are nowhere to be found.

The ravens circle the both of them separately creating some kind of force field around them, I smile as I hear them cry in agony but in the cry, I hear George scream something. "You haven't won, Camille. I have one more surprise."

I don't have the time to challenge him for that as I feel something... Someone pushes me against the wall out of nowhere. I wince and close my eyes, breaking my connection with the ravens in the process.

My mouth drops open at the interesting sight in front of me. "Oh bloody hell."
