Mr. Famous Meets The Sophisticated Popular Girl
Hi! This is my first Jelsa High School AU fanfic! Enjoy!

Chapter 1
Elsa's POV
You’d think that being the heiress of a successful Trading Company meant waking up to the soft chirping of birds as you roll gracefully out of bed, fresh as ever, with glorious hair--
“Elsa! Hurry up, or I swear I’ll swallow this entire plate of bacon and eggs!”
Well, you thought wrong.
“Wrrmng,” I grumbled.
Clearly, I’m not a morning person in any sense of the term. And I don’t feel entirely human ‘til I get a cup or two of hot coffee in my system, so really, this is a big struggle for me.
But bacon.
I’m not usually like this. Honestly, between me and Anna, I was always the first to get up and go, but the bed’s so warm and my blanket feels so cozy…
I was about to doze off when there was a knock on the door, accompanied by a voice, “Elsa?”
“Mrrng?”
“It’s Lucy”
“Mmm, the door’s open!”
I hear the door creak as Lucy enters my room. I look up to hear her sigh and grab my brush from the dresser.
“Elsa…” I felt the bed dip as Lucy sat beside me and took a few tangled locks of my hair to straighten them up with the brush
“I know, I’m sorry. Am I that late?’ I pouted.
“Not really, Anna just got up real early. Which surprised me because since when was Anna up earlier than her sister?” Lucy raised her brows in question, an amused smile gracing her lips.
“Apparently on the first day of school. Ugh… I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck.” I lamented.
Which, by the way, was an understatement. I felt like I drunk so much that I could pass out then got hit by a truck. Was this what they called withdrawal?
“Mhm, probably wasn’t best to down all that coffee last night, huh?” She smiled.
I laughed, “yeah, probably.”
At this point, Lucy was able to tame half of my hair, but had given up on the other half, so she put down the brush beside me and stood up.
“Go freshen up, we’ll wait for you downstairs”
I sighed, “alright."
Lucy nodded and was about to leave when I called her again.
“Hmm?”
“Could you salvage me a few strips of bacon and eggs? I don’t trust Anna’s appetite.”
Lucy just laughed, “of course.”

15 minutes. I just made a new record. For fastest time in the shower, that is. The hot water and steam seemed to have helped soothe my pounding headache and fortunately, I'm starting to feel better.
“Elsa! You comin’ down, or what?” Anna yelled.
“Anna, don’t you touch my bacons!” I yelled back as I went down the steps to finally have breakfast.
Lucy smiled when I greeted her downstairs then proceeded to whisper, “saved you a couple o’ bacon and eggs, Anna was eyeing it like a prize, though.”
I nodded solemnly, “thanks, Lucy. I better save me some breakfast.”
It's not that I don't trust my sister not to eat my breakfast... Well, yeah maybe I don't trust her self control that much when it involves food.
As I walked to the dining room, I heard some chattering coming from Anna and mom.
“Mom, all I’m saying is that it wouldn’t hurt no one if I just took one – just one! – piece of bacon. I mean surely Elsa’ll be pissed as hell but she’ll liv-“
“Anna,” Mom laughed, ”just take my portion instead.”
“Really?” I could imagine Anna’s eyes twinkle at that. I smiled and shook my head at the two of them.
“Hey, what’s this I’m hearing about someone stealing my bacon?” I said eyeing Anna expectantly.
She turns to look at me with a bacon in hand and a cheeky smile, “No need to worry, Els, Mom sacrificed her part for you.”
“Your appetite never ceases to amaze me,” I said.
“I’m glad sis. I am.”

If I wasn’t hyped earlier, then I am now. Nervous as hell, but hyped all the same.
Mom didn’t linger too long, she dropped Anna and I off to school and we said our quick goodbyes. She’s kinda busy – complete understatement – and sometimes I worry that she’ll push herself too hard.
It’s kinda surreal watching and waving at mom’s car as she drove further away ‘til all we could see was a speck in the distance. To think that today seemed just like any other day, except it really wasn’t – it was our first day as Seniors, and I don’t know, but something about that seems huge to me.
Anna seems to be sharing the same sentiment because she softly grasps my arm and gives me a shy smile that I gladly return.
“You ready?” I asked.
Anna's smile widens ands she's about to blurt something out when-
“Well, boo hoo if you ain’t ‘cause we’re going in there!” A familiar voice that definitely wasn’t Anna spoke just behind us causing Anna and I to turn around to see -
“Merida!” Anna greeted, arms stretching to offer a hug.
Merida Von Broch. Basketball extraordinaire, and our dear friend. Her puffy red hair shakes and wiggles on her head as she laughs - or when she moves in general. The sight of it never fails to make me smile.
“Long time no see, lass,” Merida said as she turned to hug her.
“We literally saw each other last week,” I raised a brow, smirking.
The smirk was wiped off my face as I yelped when I felt someone tackle me from behind into a bone-crushing hug.
“But I didn’t!” Rapunzel interjected.
Rapunzel Collins. Pretty sure our mothers are sisters with how close they are. She's the kind of girl that could be friends with just about anyone. Rap's mostly the social butterfly among us.
“Ugh, it’s too early for all these strenuous activities, Rap,” I laughed.
“Rapunzel, we literally saw you yesterday,” Anna said, amused.
Oh yeah, she did. She came by our house to drop something off for our mom.
“For five minutes! That’s not what I’d call legitimately hanging out.” Rapunzel shrugged.
“Mhm, well as much as it warms my heart to see y’all, I think it’s best we get in.” Merida suggested. It was still fairly early, but we didn't really have much else to do so we all started walking into the hallway.
It was sort of silent in the hallway; nothing but a dull buzz amongst the conversations of other students just lounging by. Most students were already on a search for their rooms, while others were busy getting their schedules. Merida walks beside me and bumps her elbow against me in feigned nonchalance. I turn to look at her and that's when I see the mischievous glint in her eyes. Then suddenly-
“Uptown girlll!” Merida drawls out of the blue making me sigh.
“Merida, nobody calls me that an--”
“Hey, Uptown girl!” Mr. Charming, one of our teachers, sang as he passed by causing other students to join.
It dies down pretty quickly but Merida still has that smug look on her face. “You were saying?”
I just shook my head. “Apparently they won’t let me live it down.”
Uptown Girl. You know, that Billy Joel song? I sang it back then in junior year for an audition – still can’t remember why I chose it – and apparently it went well because after that, they started to assign that nickname to me. And when word got around how Mom basically funded the school, the name stuck. They deemed it fit; upper class girl – the Uptown Girl. That’s Elsa Arens for them.
With Mom's job, moving around was no longer a foreign concept to me and Anna. But after moving here in Junior year, Mom decided it was best to stay, and I couldn't be happier with that decision.
We took a turn before finally spotting the familiar oak doors.
“Ah, the office, seems only like yesterday,” Anna commented as we pushed past the doors to see Mrs. White sitting at her desk.
She sets down the stacks of paper she was arranging earlier and greets us with a soft smile. “Girls! So good to see you.”
“It’s great to be back,” Rapunzel replied, smiling politely.
"So, schedules, lockers, and IDs, then," she says as she rummages through her filing cabinet. It takes her a few minutes to find our shcedules and designated lockers. She places the papers on top of her desk as she closes up the the drawers.
Mrs. White handed each of us our individual schedules before turning to Anna and I, “your mother requested for your lockers to be next to each other, yes?” we both nodded our affirmations and she gave us our locker numbers.
“Arens… Collins… aaand – ahah! Von Broch. You ladies will be needing these, I believe.” Mrs. White said as she handed our IDs.
“That’s it, you’re all geared up. Good luck!” She waved and we all said our respective thank yous with Merida saluting her, "see ya around, Mrs. White!"
We left for our lockers; Merida first, me last.
That was, until—
BAM!
That was the sound of me colliding against another student causing me to stumble a bit. Luckily being able to catch my balance, I sighed in relief before sheepishly saying, “I’m sorry.”
When the person didn’t respond, I looked up to see a guy wearing a blue hoodie. White strands of hair – huh? – peaked out just below his hood before my eyes landed on his scowling face. Blue eyes glared at me making me frown and tilt my head.
The guy didn’t really say anything before pushing past me and into the office. I huffed, only slightly annoyed, before brushing the feeling off and walking out to meet the girls.
“What’s wrong?” Rapunzel asked as she saw the frown on my face.
“Just a rude guy over there, no biggie,” I said as I swung my thumb over to the direction of the office.
The three of them eyed the office doors making me change the topic, “Uh, our lockers not too far off?”
“Well, we are beside each other,” Anna chuckled.
“157,” Rapunzel shrugged. Not too far.
“98,” Merida frowned. Hers was the farthest.
“Well, I guess I'll get going, kind of a stroll to get there. I’ll see y’all during break then? Same place?” Merida said as she started to walk towards the east wing, leading to her locker.
“You bet. See you guys!” Rapunzel replied as she walked with Merida.
Well, that settles it, then. Anna and I walked west to our lockers and grinned at each other when we spotted ours; one was mostly blue while the other was a pink-purple hybrid.
“I’m pretty sure we know who’s whose,” I laughed, turning in my combination.
“I bet you tomorrow’s breakfast that Mom did this,” Anna smirked.
Well, can't argue with that. It's first day of classes, so not much stuff is needed. I checked my schedule to get the required things before stuffing the rest of my stuff into the locker.
I turned to Anna to see her looping the lace of her ID between her fingers. "Oh right. Almost forgot," I mumbled as I searched for my ID in my locker. Not there? In my bag, maybe?
"Huh, my ID's not with me."
"What? I just saw Mrs. White hand it over to you," Anna frowned.
"Yeah..." I sighed. What a way to start the day.
"S'fine, we still got time. Let's look back to where we went," Anna suggested.
"Alright then," I shrugged, but thankful for my sister.
What a way indeed.

Psst. HELLO

Remember that time when the author's note was longer than the actual story? God, I was a nightmare xD. But hello my potatoes! I have finally found the will power within me to actually edit this forsaken book.
I've never cringed harder in my entire life 'til I reread this book.
Jesus, what was I thinking.
And how on earth did you read this without burning your eyes out. I might as well cleanse mine with bleach. Yeah. IT'S THAT BAD.
I have absolutely no idea how I'm gonna get through with editing 60++ more chapters when the first one made me wanna dig a hole and bury myself alive.
Anyways, hope you liked the new cover :))) took hours to edit and I'm finally happy with it. I think it'll stay c:
