Chapter 18

Elsa's POV

Anna was jumping on my bed making me groan. She pulled my blanket while I fought back, desperately wanting more sleep.

"Elsaaaa....." Anna paused and I can feel her smile.

"JACK'S HERE!!!" She squealed making me sit up and hop out of my bed.

"Already?!" I panicked making Anna giggle and shook her head.

"No silly, now go get ready with your date!" She jumped making me roll my eyes playfully at her.

"It's not a date, Anna." I glared at her and she just rolled her eyes, obviously she's not convinced.

"No Kidding" a voice said from the door making me and Anna search for the voice's owner. It was Jack.

"What are you doing here so early?" I raised a brow and yawned making Jack chuckle

"I was bored. So.... I went here and Lucy told me to wait inside and finally made my way here." He explained and I nodded and gestured him and Anna to leave the room

"I'll go get ready" I said as I closed the door,leaving them outside.

I yawned and took my snowflake designed towel and walked my way to the bathroom. I took a shower and wore a light blue loose snowflake T-shirt and jeans, I wore sandals and braided my hair into a french braid, allowing it to rest on my left shoulder. I got out of my room and headed downstairs.

Jack was eating bacon making me pout and took a piece and munched it making Jack chuckle.

"You're so cute when you do that." He said and pinched my cheeks making me blush and he recoiled and resumed eating.

Anna was Just watching me and Jack eat and would squeal at times when we exchange glances. She says that she's a fangirl.

I wiped my mouth using a tissue and gestured Jack to go outside. He strode to the door and pushed through while I followed him, I wore a hat and tiptoed, allowing myself to place the hat on Jack's head. He raised a brow as I crossed my hands as I looked from head to toe.

"What's this for?" He asked while touching the hat.

"My life, my rules. It actually suits you" I giggled and he smirked

"If you say so." He shrugged and looked around.

"Where's our ride?" He raised a brow making me roll my eyes.

"We're walking our way there." I answered making him scowl

"What?!" He glared at me.

"Don't be too lazy, it's not far from here" I crossed my arms making him frown

"Hey, I am a hardworking man!" He defiantly said almost making me choke

"Excuse me, you? A hardworking man?" I laughed making him glare at me.

"I am!" He proudly said making me roll my eyes and started walking away without waiting for him.

He looked at me and raised a brow and followed me.

"Where are we going?" He asked impatiently

"You'll know when we get there" I said making him chuckle

"Returning the favor, I see" He stated making me nod.

It's been 15 minutes and we We're almost on our way to the green fields. Jack walked impatiently and whined like a child making me frown.

"Are we there yet?!" He scratched his head in annoyance. That's been the 13th time he asked.

"You're lazy alright." I laughed making him frown.

"I might as well have you know tha--" he argued yet I cut him off

"We're here" I confirmed making him look around.

"A farm?" He asked making me nod

"Something like that, We're at green fields" I shrugged making him raise a brow.

"You own this place?" He asked making me shake my head.

"Why do you always think that we own a lot of properties?" I raised a brow making him chuckle

"Hello? You own a huge company and most people own a lot of properties" He said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world

"Not me" I shook my head making him frown.

"Simple girl, yet rich. You're different" he smiled and I can feel my cheeks getting warmer.

"Let's go" I said trying to hide my face.

Jack and I walked on the grass, his eyes Wandered around the colorful flowers. I smiled and sat myself down on the bench making him sit next to me.

"This is where I mostly stay whenever I had time." I smiled making him look at me.

"What do you do here?" He asked making me sigh

"I usually come here to clear my mind off of things" I stated making him frown

"Why?" He asked

"I'm just tired of the unfair world. Don't get me wrong, I love everything here but I hate being hurt, being judged or being given such high expectations" I sighed and he remained silent, allowing me to go on

"Being smart isn't always nice, everyone expects you to know everything. Being rich also isn't, they will only run for your money and when you have nothing to give, they'll just dump you." I frowned

"You've been dump by someone?" He asked furiously making me shake my head

"Anna was, she cried for days just to get over it, but she grew strong" I smiled weakly at him.

"What happened? You said that you used to be so carefree or crazy and all" he raised a brow

"It was because of a certain incident and I have felt trauma, involving me to lock myself in my room for months, not letting anyone but my mom in my room. Ever since that, I felt what the real world was like, cruel and unfair. But I didn't hate my whole world, I'm still thankful that I have mom and Anna" I smiled making Jack smile back.

There was a short silence making me sigh and look at Jack

"There isn't much to know about my past, soo... what do you want to know?" I asked to break the awkwardness.

"What did you mean about your father?" He immediately asked making me frown.

"L-lets go" I stuttered and stood up making Jack grab my wrist

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say something wrong" he frowned making me shake my head.

"I am willing to tell you once we arrive the next place" I smiled weakly making him smile Back.

We walked towards the cemetery -the same one that Jack comes to. He raised a brow once we approached a familiar street near the cemetery.

"This place looks familiar" he said as he observed our surroundings

We finally reached the cemetery making Jack's eyes widen. I walked him to Father's grave making him look at me with surprised eyes. I smiled at him weakly and sat myself beside him on the seats near father's grave.

"Remember when we painted during Art class and I was crying?" I asked making Jack nod

"It was because I remembered my father in the painting I made." I said making him smile weakly.

"And the incident I told you earlier?  I was actually referring to my father's fate." I said with eyes downcast making him dawn into realization as the puzzles seem to fit together.

"Anna And I were just young, we would always build snowmans with father and mother, that was our last memory with him" I sighed, I believe that this is also what Jack felt about his Uncle.

"He died due to illness, after dad was gone. The world became cruel, That's when I felt alone." I said as tears threatened to fall.

"What about your mom and Anna?" He asked with sorrowful eyes

"Mom and Anna was always there by my side, yet it never felt the same" I said this time, tears rolled down to my cheeks making me immediately wipe them and smile at Jack.

"I always come here to offer flowers, I would even talk to him here" I said making Jack smile

"I even talk to him in my dreams, thats why I sleep talk" I laughed making Jacl laugh along.

I looked at him noticing his white hair, how did he get such hair? I know that he dyed it but I don't know the reason why.

"Jack?" I called making him hum in response.

"Why did you dye your hair?" I asked making him ruffle his hair

"Oh, it was because of my Uncle's funeral. My uncle loved the color white, so pure and clean. My whole family dyed our hair white in respect of Uncle's funeral. After months my family had stopped dyeing their hair but I continued until now"  He smiled making me nod in understanding.

"What was your hair color back before?" I asked making him chuckle

"It was brown, yet I like white hair better" he explained making me nod in agreement

I smiled at him and stood up making him do the same, we walked out of the cemetery and luckily it wasn't raining.

"I hope you knew a bit more about me, and I'm glad to let everything out." I said making Jack smile

I waved at him and we separated direction. I walked to my house that was just a couple of blocks away from the cemetery.

Jack's POV

I watched her walk away making me walk home. I saw a whole new different Elsa today, and I'm also glad to explain everything to her.

I rang the doorbell and the maids bowed as I entered, I was greeted by my father who was reading a newspaper.

"Hey, come join us for dinner!" Dad offered make me shake my head.

"You go ahead, I'm exhausted" I said as I went upstairs.

It was already 9:30pm making me groan and lay flat on my bed. I fixed myself, trying to find a comfortable position. I looked at the ceiling again, all I could think of was Elsa making me frown and press my face on the pillows. Minutes passed and I was still trying to sleep, Elsa's face was all I could imagine. Something was bothering me making me frown. I sat up and thought for awhile, what was this thing I was feeling? why can't I sleep? Then it struck me.

I'm falling for her.
