Chapter 29

Elsa's POV

Jack smirked and walked away while I just stood there, dumbfounded. H-he just kissed m-my forehead? I think it was just a friendly gesture. I held my hand near my chest, what was this thing I was feeling? my heart was pumping at it's loudest, it was like I ran from a long distance. I only remember myself walking fast to catch up with Jack, but that wasn't enough for my heart to beat this fast. Was it because of Jack? I just shrugged it off and went back inside the cemetery.

I searched for my Father's grave and sat down on the black wooden bench just right in front of it. I pursed my lips and looked at the flowers on a vase near his grave, they were still fresh. I brushed the dust off his grave stone, 'Arthur Mark Arens' was my father's name. I looked at his stone and sighed.

"Dad?" I whispered while rubbing his stone. "Why am I like this? wh-why do I feel like this?" I placed my left hand on my chest, near the heart and frowned.

I usually talked to my father here, I even dream of talking to him, That's why I sleep talk.

"It feels weird, I feel nervous, heat rises up to my body a-and I just..... I just want to explode!" I let out a deep sigh and massaged my temple.

"...whenever he's around" I finished and turned crimson red as I released those words in front of my father.

I bit my lip and stood up, I dusted my skirt and fixed my coat. I actually felt a lot better after letting it all out at my father. I setted my eyes downcast as I walked on the sidewalk, lamp posts were already lit up and I'm guessing that it's already supper time. Gladly, the cemetery was actually near our house, I'm hoping That Anna was already home.

I rang the doorbell and Anna opened the door with worry in her eyes.

"Elsa! Where have you been?" She quickly interrogated me as I entered.

"I visited father, with.... Jack" I shrugged and Anna jumped up and down.

"What happened? Did you hug? Did you kiss?" She asked then she suddenly gasped and shaked my shoulders with full excitement

"Did he propose?!?" She yelped and I grimaced.

"He would never" I gave her a disgusted look and she just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah he would!" She protested

"Enough of that, what happened when you were with Krisroff?" I tilted my head and hoped that Anna will forget about the topic.

"Oh, about that, Kristoff is really an expert when it comes to rock climbing!" Anna pouted. "I couldn't even get halfway through!" She frowned making me giggle and pat her head.

"Aww, it's alright. You'll reach the very top someday!" I tried to encourage her and she smiled at me.

"I will!" She saluted and marched to her bedroom.

"I'll see you at the morning sis!" She yelled before closing the door as I yawned and lazily walked to my room.

I fell face first on my bed and cuddled up in my pillows, today was exhausting!

Someone was licking my face and I giggled as it tickled me. I opened my eyes to see The happy Dalmatian, waggling it's tail and looked at me with it's innocent eyes

"Morning Olaf" I laughed as I patted his head, he barked and jumped as I stood up and reached for my towel.

"Stay there" I smiled at Olaf as he layed down, still waggling his tail.

My phone rang making me look at it then to Olaf, who would call me at this time of the day? I picked it up without even looking at who it was making me mentally face palm myself.

"H-hello?" I asked and stared at Olaf.

"Where are you?" A masculine voice echoed through my phone. And it could only belong to one person, Jack.

"I'm in my room, problem?" I raised a brow

"Fancy you being so sassy so early in the morning" He chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

"Let's go now" he stated impatiently making me gape and stare at my phone then draw it back close to my ear.

"W-wait, now?" I tilted my head and walked towards the curtains.

"Uhuh" he simply said

"Where are you?" I asked and peeked through the curtains and saw a familiar figure who had white hair, yup, That's him alright

"In front of Your house" he confirmed and I contacted my brows.

"Wait there, I'll go get ready."

I shrugged.

"What?! You mean you aren't ready yet?" He asked incredulously.

"That's what you get for coming here so early" I rolled my eyes and closed the curtains, I'm gonna take a bath.

I hung my towel on a steel horizontal pole and took a shower, I wore my long sleeved checkered polo and shorts that went up to my knees. I rubbed my hair against the towel until it was dry enough. I wore my blue and black converse and headed downstairs with Olaf.

Anna was in front of the mirror balancing the amount of lipgloss on her lips, Olaf barked a 'good morning' to Anna making her smile and face Olaf

"Olaf!" She giggled and picked up Olaf then smiled to me.

"Morning sis" she smiled brightly and I smiled back.

"Good morning, you seem to be in a good mood" I laughed and she nodded eagerly

"I am! Kristoff's gonna pick me up in a minute. Oh, and Elsa?" She paused then glanced at the door then back at me.

"Jack's outside!" She squeaked making me roll my eyes playfully at her.

"I know, let him wait" I crossed my arms and looked at the wooden door.

"Elsa" Anna pouted and placed Olaf back to the floor and crossed her arms as well.

"You know you can't resist him" she nudged my elbow making me contact my brows.

"I can" I defiantly answered and Anna frowned

"Poor, poor, poor, pooor Jack" Anna ticked her tongue several times and walked around me.

"waiting outside for so long, waiting for Elsa" she faced me and ticked her tongue again.

I just laughed and sat down at the couch, Anna plopped herself beside me and sighed.

"It's still too early" I reasoned.

A loud knock was heard From the door. "Elsa?" Came a voice, wait that wasn't Jack's voice. That was.... that was Emma's!

I immediately stood up and walked to the door, I opened the door and saw Emma smiling widely

"My brother's waiting for you" she gestured her hand back to the gate making me sigh and look at Anna.

"I'm coming" I pursed my lips and waved a bye to Anna and locked the door. Emma skipped alongside me then entered the back seat. Jack Removed his blue jacket and my eyes popped when I saw that he was wearing the same polo as me.

He glanced at me and smirked, he too grew shocked when he saw my polo.

"A coincidence, maybe?" He shrugged.

"Wait...." I paused and looked around, then glanced back at him

"You're a Stalker!!!" I yelped and he cocked an eyebrow.

"Me? A stalker? Hahahha..... no" he said with a blank expression and I rolled my eyes.

"Give me minute, I'll just change" I sighed and started to walk back to the gates but Jack grabbed my arm before I could do so.

"You don't have to change, I actually find it cute" He smirked and dragged me back to his car.

"It would look awkward" I pouted and he chuckled

"Trust me, you look adorable" he pinched both of my cheeks.

"Wish I could say the same" I rolled my eyes making him scowl.

"Hey, I am irresistible" he said offended.

"Not for me" I shot him the 'Ha!' Face and he glared at me.

I opened the door to the front seat and smiled at Emma. She smiled back and laid back on her seat. Jack entered the driver's seat and Emma's eyes twinkled in delight.

"Jack? Why are you two wearing couple......" she glanced at me and Jack.

"Polos?" She finished and Jack smirked at me.

"Your brother here is a stalker" I glared at Jack and he rolled his eyes.

"I am not, Emma, don't listen to this-this woman" he pointed at me and Emma laughed and rolled her eyes.

"Just say you love each other" she sighed and looked at us dreamily

"Oh, w-we're no-not together" I laughed nervously.

"But we soon will" Jack whispered to Emma making me blush.

Jack just winked at me and started the engine. He darted his eyes on the road while Emma hummed along the beat of the music. I glanced at Jack and sighed.

Sometimes, you can really hate this guy. But there are also times when you could melt when you see him.
