The people of Rygen are quite religious and they have an abundance of celebrations. They believe in the goddess Lux, their focus in living their lives to her teachings. They have many traditions surrounding courting and marriage, as well as when pregnant. They believe that Lux is who has granted them life and so she should be worshipped. Thoughts their has been an opposing groups against the goddess, those who believe in Austere the god of death.
